Yep worked for me.

U can enable your sound again as soon as you are in the main menu and it will not crash anymore and sound will be working

That doesn't sound to be a Windows 8 issue, as it doesn't happen here. What CPU do you have?

It may also be your antivirus scanner kicking in. I've noticed that really kills a lot of games.

I think that *insert deity of choice here* doesn't want me playing this game, as the download constantly crashes if I use the author's uploading site and Mega's been giving me errors all day.

That doesn't sound to be a Windows 8 issue, as it doesn't happen here. What CPU do you have?

my CPU is Intel Core i5 4440 @ 3.10GHz. Actually, what i meant is the game run smooth, but each time the enemy attack or getting hit, the game freeze a while and later and run smoothly when there is no enemy.

alright i downloaded the game, it loads, will display the pictures and dialogue, but then as soon at the fight starts the game freezes and wont load further...can anyone please help?

If your doing a dmsynth.dll swap you want a very recent one as older versions of it create that judder every time a sound is played

After 1 day of trying to download the game, I finally managed to start the download. And, surprise, surprise, it only took 4 freaking hours to download using a 1Gbps fiber optics internet connection. This is just stupid.

Contributing to my own chagrin here, I've been checking back every few days since the roaches update in the vain hope another update will have magically come out, I see new posts and get all excited but then I see it's just trouble-shooting help to get the game to work.. and then I become crest fallen.

Hopefully the next update will come sooner and not later than the previous one, not to say I'm not content with whats on offer now but it's human nature that when you got something good... you want "more" of it!

Very unlikely, the time period between his updates are getting longer, and he have a history of abandoning projects. Wouldn't come as a surprise to anyone if this or the next update is the last. Although I wish otherwise.

You have to finish the pub event to get him to show up.

Refresher: Rat Stage -> Apologise at Bar -> Talk to Fio -> Talk to Embassy -> Talk to Swordsman -> Fight Mendes -> Bar -> Swordsman -> Bar -> Night Bar , buy 2000 sake -> Swordsman -> Bar -> Slum, fight Cobolio again.

I have to miss something...
I just did this till the end so i just defeated Cobolio in their Hidout in the Slums. ... ... but what now? No new sceens the Bar ("the hole") no new sceens at the Swordmans Dojo.

I think i just go to ebvery spot i know multiple time...
Where i have to go now?
