It seems legit and not a joke. however, his previous post did say something about not being able to release it this year. I think it's just in the concept stages right now...

Kenzen Action.

The images won't load for me, for some reason, but regardless, KENZEN* is like a running joke for the dev...so I'm initially inclined to believe that the game may just be a joke as well.

Besides, they're buckling down on the Earth Gaiden RPG, (the devblog for which has its own KENZEN* jokes) having recently been working on the Day 2 chapter.

*KENZEN, in Japanese, means 'healthy' or 'wholesome'. The author here uses it with a slightly ironic, perverted meaning (generally by describing their female characters as being KENZEN). Though I don't know for certain,
I must presume that KENZEN is written in English (and all-caps at that) for further ironic value.

If I'm wrong, we'll all rejoice, but I just want to caution that this currently seems unlikely.

Agreed about the definition of KENZEN, but I'll add that it's kind of a running joke in the Japanese community and not specific to this blog. The gist is that you're protesting that your art is wholesome when it's actually perverted.

In this post, the title screen is a joke (note the "ero mode" option and the naked version if you scroll down on the blog post), but the next game looks to be serious. In the 10/6 post on the blog, he talks seriously about game mechanics and such. For instance, he says that there will probably be fewer game over scenes than Iris Action, but more patterns per scene.

In the previous post (1/4), he says that he's conceptualizing game over scenes right now, but because he's busy with another matter he hasn't made much progress otherwise. He says not to expect much progress early this year, but that he'll post updates bit by bit.

I don't doubt he's at least planning for another H-game, I just don't think he's actively working on one, for the reasons given before.

Also, the first image is still broken for me, but in the second one, isn't the character Trenia from Iris Action? He's already made a joke title screen featuring that character once before.

Yeah, I agree with you. He's been busy (I imagine with Earth Gaiden like you mentioned?), so there's been little to no actual progress on the H-game. He does look to have a serious concept that in mind for it, though. (Would not expect the title to actually be KENZEN action, of course)

The character looks similar to Trenia. I haven't seen the previous joke title screen, but I believe she might be planned to be the protagonist for the next H-game? Not positive on that one. The 2013 5/9 and 5/17 blog posts show concept art of her where he talks about the game, and he says that he's thinking of a Trenia-ish character as the protagonist.

Basically, I don't put too much stock in most things from this Dev right away, because they put a lot of effort into making convincing pranks (The character Liver now makes me perpetually uncomfortable, and not just because of his name). However, they put a lot of effort into other, extra projects as well, like Iris Santa and Iris Summer, so I'm not complaining.

Anybody happen to have the newest version of Iris Action? I've been looking everywhere for it, as mine is from the original release and apparently there was an update since then. At least, i think so, google translate does a terrible job. I can say that the copyright date on mine is from 2012, if that's relevant to anything.

I'm assuming the game complete save that has been floating around here is for said newer version.

I just want to know if there's a sprite sex or just CG animations.
No matter how hard I try I ended up finishing the whole game.
I then instead used a save file for CG's.

If you're using internet explorer, try using firefox or chrome instead. I had the same problem before I upgraded to chrome.

A bit curious when you were using google chrome were you in incognito mode? That sometimes has an effect on downloads.

Drat!

I went to check out the Earth Gaiden page, and saw that A~N-san apparently has 2 Earth Gaiden H-doujin for sale...and while trying to figure out how they were able to pull this off, realized that it's April 1st in Japan, and that A~N-san is up to their usual shenanigans (remember Trenia Action?).

Still, though...that fake cover art, especially the second one. KENZEN.
