So if you want a complete experience, might be best to wait still. That's also why I think that people did not mention it earlier. I also get the feeling that the MGQ hype died down after Rogue left.

I think people didn't expect anything to come afterwards. MGQ is an awesome game, with an awesome end, we didn't ask for more. Not everyone stayed and realized that there actually was more.

I... think I did that? I used the decrypter, but I didn't seem to notice any obvious new files anywhere if it was meant to make any or something. I just get a script error popup when trying to run the demo now.

What you are describing does not sound like something that has got to do with the translation patch. Most likely you are not running the game with Japanese locale or without actually having the RPGMaker VX Ace package installed.

I can run other RPGMaker VX Ace games, and I had the demo working just fine before I tried to patch it. Odds are I just messed something up, but I'm just not sure what...

Ok this is probably stupid, but did you actually copy the unpacked files into the game directory? The decrypter on Dargoth's site unpacks them in to a folder called 'Extract'. Your game directory should contain:

Audio/
Data/
gibberish.txt
Fonts/
Game.exe
Game.ini
Graphics/
ORIGINAL.rgss3a
Save/
ScriptReplacer.rvdata2
System/

With Audio/ etc. being folders. Notice I renamed the .rgss3a file. Your folder might not contain a 'Save' folder of course.

No I did not. I was looking for that folder but I couldn't find it... so odds are, I had the Decrypter on my computer already and simply don't know where it stores those files.

May as well start from scratch after work.

Something of this size and caliber, My money is on RogueTranslations putting their time into translating this, especially after the huge amount of time translating they put into the text/cgi version of MGQ.
Hell I'd even want them to do a patreon startup to fund it, but that might be illegal for them to make money of someone else's creation.

Nevermind, went to see Rogue and looks like Dargothtranslations is already working on translating, hopefully he can make it, cause it looks like a long haul for this one.
They already have some work done too!

I believe I read torotoro trying to calm down people by saying that the development of the english translation is in no way slowing down production.

So yes, it appears there is an official english translation this time.
And thank ilias for that, it would have been a nightmare to translate it all.

But I believe you are out of luck.

the one constant flair of Monster girl quest is femdom and the idea that monster girls are these sexual predators that are infinitely superior to humans when it comes to sex.

I guess it could happen with human females, but yet again, Luka has been established as sexually inept and as the monstergirls would put it "weak to sexual attacks". To do things differently would mean to destroy the character.

Unless it's ok to have another male character take the dominant role in a scene or Luka is somehow imbued with sexual super powers.

mgq is heavy based on shota stuff(beter then loli or gay shit)

but i would like to see lukas battle fucking these monster girls,
i mean hes a half angel half hero born and in mgq3 at the final fight vs ileas
he looks like some kind of a small skeledon/angel/fire/spirit/slime/demon mutation
and is strong enough to beat all monsters with a weird sword and domon power ewen goods
