i have AGV 2013 and i don't know what type of virus it is because i download the patch trought MEGA and and saving it on my computer AVG scans it automaticly and say is contained a vtiru then deletes its.

so... i now have a parts 1&2 game, and a part 3 game.

so i just grab all the .nsa files from the former, and dump them in the latter?

the readme seems to be about combining them all seperately, I'm just asking for clarification because my 1&2 are already combined.


also, does anyone have a 100% complete save from the first 2? i got like 93% on my own, but I didn't keep my save. now my encyclopidea is looking a little bare.

edit: I found a save file, but i can't seem to "inherit" it. the option is greyed out, what am i fucking up?

edit: now i have a save, but that means i can't replace it with my own save that i was using before, right?

luckily, this file that i found and downloaded has a save right before each fight, which is perfect for my needs, right?

except that if i load it, the game crashes when i right click.

what the fuck.

any one have any clues? or do i have to start from scratch?


turns out just using the "inherit" function to start a new game (at the start of part 3) ALSO causes the crash.

got my MGQ3 unrar'ed, adding arc.nsa files from the first 2, adding save files, converting, inheriting, then applying the partial translation patch.

right?

that should work, right?

edit again: Super Retard Powers Activate.

turns out the patch note was saying "after you copy over Arc.nsa and Arc1.nsa, you should have arc/1/2/3/4 NOT "copy over arc/1/2/3/4.nsa"


so yeah.

i was overwriting things that I shouldn't have.

lets see if it works if i don't fuck it up now.

well i can send you w/e files you need (part 2 folder would probably be enough)thru skype
for loading saves i know the n script file has some factor for saves working

i am not 100% sure how to combine i think it was copy ark files into the next part folder for the game story to be combined then the glovel in the saves folder into the next parts save folder for saves to be loadable
other then that not sure

getting everything working on this game is a pain i have multiple nscripts that i have to switch for different things lol..

Well, just got the latest patch, and the story is shaping up to be pretty awesome. I actually feel more sympathy for Luka and Alice as well as the other characters than about 90% of Japanese RPG protagonists. Go figure.

Am I the only one freaked out by the Unfortunate Nekotama? She freaked me out when she first appeared, when I finished the patch and she suddenly came outta nowhere.... yeah, I'm not sleeping too soon. I dunno what it is, but she just... unsettles me.

I'm trying to find the image of Luca, the protagonist of the sequel. Unless I'm reading the posts wrong and it's simply the same Luka, just different spelling, I can't find a picture. Can anyone give me a hand? I'm now very curious.

i decided to get part 3 working today indeed it took me a good hour of playing around for the game to finally work
i also 4got you can only save(for it to load correctly) on save locations which happen b4 big dialog areas or battles

i could not get part 2 files to load on part 3 nor did it transition over at the end of part 2 like it was supposed to instead going to credits

to get part 3 working after doing the conversion and save trans
i had to start part 3 thru the extra save import option then it worked fine

also when you save you also cannot change the text thats written or it will become a error

How do I combine Part 1 and Part 2?

To combine Part 1 with Part 2, copy the “arc.nsa” file from your MGQ Part 1 folder. Paste this arc.nsa file into Part 2?s folder, choosing “Yes” to overwrite the current file. ONLY arc.nsa, not any other nsa files. Then launch the game, go to the extra menu, and choose “Part 1 Conversion”.

How do I import my save from Part 1?

Go to your part 1 directory, to the \save folder. Inside this folder, you need to copy “gloval.sav”. Paste this “gloval.sav” file into Part 2?s \save folder. After that, go to the “Extra” menu and choose “Part 1 SaveImport”. It will import the save file and start you on part 2. Do not do this unless you chose to create cleared save data at the end of part 1.

-Combining all parts.
To combine Part 1, 2 and 3, copy the "arc.nsa" file from your MGQ Part 1 folder. Paste this
arc.nsa file into Part 3's folder, choosing "Yes" to overwrite the current file. Then copy the "arc1.nsa"
file from Part 2's into Part 3's folder, choose "Yes" to overwrite the current file.

You should then have 6 .nsa files, with the following filesizes:
arc.nsa 692,203KB
arc1.nsa 861,980KB
arc2.nsa 1,685,322KB
arc3.nsa 9,034KB
arc4.nsa 9,034KB
arc5.nsa 5,717KB


Once copied over, launch MGQ Part 3, and go to the "Extra" Menu. In there, choose "Convert".
If you copied over the .nsa files, it will complete successfully. Once combined,
monsters from part 1 and 2 are available to view in the encyclopedia. "New Game" will also now start
from Part 1, at the very start.

-Importing Part 2's save.
Go to your part 2 directory, to the \save folder. Inside this folder, you need to copy "gloval.sav".
Paste this "gloval.sav" file into Part 3's \save folder. After that, go to the "Extra" menu and
choose "Save Inherit". It will import the save file and start you on part 3.

What i think of P3 so far

it really sucks when they have lolis/shota/kids in games because when a person calls them cute unless its a girl people look at them funny
still when she was given some candy and looked so happy i couldn't help but smile she still held a part of her gluttonous attribute and that was just too dam cute :3

as for lukas lineage well the mother having been a angle is great and all but i will firmly disagree that just because some1 is labeled a hero does not mean they will have god like powers as such to me his fathers side is literally irrelevant
it just means he was a very human loving person who from what knowledge we have was not so much friendly with monsters

the 1st angels
its sad the younger one is the one that realized whats right and wrong b4 the older one did
and only after beating her younger sister to near death did it finally click :/
considering the amount of power she and her sister apparently had in their prime should be past luka as he is now(i just finished the town with the older sisters story)
they should of been able to stop illias if they worked together o.o
if a half angel is that powerful why is he able to defeat full angels?
are they trying to pull another dbz and say half breeds have more potential then full original?
if so then the 1st 2 angels illias made should be stronger then she is!

outside of some of the flaws and frankly ridiculous things
P3 is still a very entertaining story with amazing art
i love this game but after seeing the neptunia anime ill never wish for a anime adaption for this again

i do have a question
does anyone know if this game comes in full screen mode
when i set it to full screen
it stays the same size with a black back round all around the edges
id love if the game was actually full screen
of the few work around's i know none have worked
does the game itself not support it or could it be other hardware or software that limit this?

Thats more of a lost-in-translation + lost-in-context thing than writing. When it comes to "cute" the English language is lacking in synonyms without sounding unusual or out of date.

I think you've forgotten a big chunk of part 2.

Thats normal. Seriously. In the old days/less educated/less diverse days/groups, it was common for people to have near fanatical beliefs in what they were taught. If the church/chieftain/king/god told you that the people you've never talked to or met before next door were baby eating demonic monsters that were the cause of your first child's death and that you had to kill them, you went and killed them. If you didn't; fuck you, you're one of them, you die now.

Did anyone catch the arrow to the knee joke? I checked the site and Rogue said it was NOT his doing and it was what the original text actually said. Loved the humor and references in this patch.

Why was the unfortunate neko named Garfield? (some letters were blurred but it's obvious what the name is supposed to be). They don't look anything alike and they don't share similar personalities. In fact unfortunate neko might be the most disturbing character in the game lol. At least to me

other then that he did a great job
this is easily the hardest part of the 3 parts
a few monsters took me a few tries especially

With how often she wanted you to transition between stances, as well as having both a bind and a trance, and hitting hard regardless, it came down to praying for dodges and no bind moves while I regained SP.

It just took a few tries and lucks to beat her.

if you mean the loli vampire, I seem to remember having to go back to her in the monsterpiedia just to see what her moves did, because I beat her in one go.

if illias says "use x until she goes to bind stance" then just ignore her and use gnome all the time, yes you don't dodge, but trance won't kill you if you top up your hp, and you take less damage anyway with earth element.

Daystar-attack-attack-blade of rakasha. then use one of alices heavy hitters if shes still not dead.

works on basically anyone who doesn't status effect or bind you in the first 4 turns.





now i'm out of the translated bit, and can't rely on Evaluations for tips, I seem to have fallen back on a simple rotation that works almost every time.


start with Daystar, for massive damage, at this point, you should have 4 sp left, now summon salamader, (which refills your SP and makes you deal more damge, but stop you from gaining SP or healing) then use daystar again. that leaves you with 4 SP again, and most monsters will only have a sliver of HP left.

use your 4SP move to finish them off.

got all the way to the doppleganger without losing, but she counters all your sword skills, so now i'm stuck.


what happens when you get back to the monster lords castle? theres a big meeting, someone asks you something (four options?) then you wonder around the castle talking to the 4 knights (two of them are having sex?) then you leave and go to heaven?
