Re: Daibanchou Big Bang Age

That save unfortunately does nothing for me. I'm gonna go ahead and guess that it's because my game is english patched and every save I've found seems to do nothing to my game.

Has the english patch been updated at some point and maybe made untranslated saves work on a patched game?
Eh, I tested it myself, and I found the issue, it actually has to be renamed to 大番長G. Going to go update the .zip

also does anyone think getting all three of them(see attachment) is worth the trouble?
Even I never bothered to go out of my way to actually get all 3 of them in the same run, especially since Masakari won't join if Daigo and Mario are around, I know there's ways around to do it but I personally never bothered.

Mario is okayish, I can't say too much about him, he gets a nice skill on hard mode though..

Masakari does some pretty good damage and his skill is nice too, I haven't used him too much, since I usually have Mario or Daigo instead.

As for Devil Daigo
A pity that he reverts, but it's required for his character clears, if I remember right.

yeah
him reverting is required for a star sadly but, after he does you can recruit Kaguya with out her killing him and he still comes out stronger then he was before.

also on hard mode no one is is better at fighting in Ravi's dream events then devil daigo :D
these events you should complete as soon as your strong enough(or the dream is weak enough) otherwise they can cut into your bp profit margin.

also anyone know what Sae's last star is no matter what I do I keep missing one

Copy Paste from the wiki:

Event auto-triggered at the beginning of a turn when Takabane's love level is above 6. Do note the love level of all other heroines must be at or below 2.
In other words, yeah. You need to keep the love levels of the others minimal for it, which is something you have to do generally to get certain heroines endings anyways.

What still has me lost that there seems to be some sort of unusual sequence of priority for them when it comes to determining the endings.
I complained about it earlier in the thread but for whatever reason it prioritized Sanae during the conversation before entering the hell-hole, despite me having Level 10 Love Level on Kunagi.

What's important about this conversation is that it generally determines whose Ending you get and this pretty much blocked me from clearing Kunagi that run.

It might of been because I did actually raise Sanae's love level to 6 on the side but I've yet to experiment with it again.

I'm glad Takabane is the only one who makes you go through that since I usually have Sanae at 3 or 4 by the time I get the one I want to 6

so to get everyone 5 stared it takes 6 games(3 or 4 if you don't include the 6 heroines cause they require 1 each)

also after rereading older post

100% agreed. Rouga is confidence personified.
And Heita is the ultimate stereotype of hot blooded sidekick.

Zanma is the perfect hero, but Rance is that badass antihero many of us wish we could be.
forget that I want to be Emperor Moo!

Re: Daibanchou Big Bang Age

not all characters in the same round, some are exclusive with others for example (in the school stage)the female doctor and the teacher... and there are two main routes, so you have to play twice to get them all, and that is with some serious planning, with 3 runs you can get everything with easy, and that's the standard for alicesoft most of the time... hard mode is also needed to get all characters iirc.

So you can never have everyone in your party at once? bummer. Mutual exclusivity sucks

Re: Daibanchou Big Bang Age

You can, if you play chaos mode you get all commanders you've "cleared" and it's a massive free-for-all.

It's actually pretty entertaining and has a neat setup.

This game and Sengoku Rance are great games. I wish there were more games of this caliber out there. (Or at least I wish I knew of them)

Re: Daibanchou Big Bang Age

alicesoft has a lot of good gameplay focused games, the sad side, it's that they tend to be so complex that you must play them translated or with knowledge of japanese, daiteikoku is awesome (SUPER AWESOME)as well, so is mamatoto, oyako, and a lot of other strategy games they have
