Hi Everyone,

Michus here (the guy who is making Conquest of Avindale)

Glad to see interest in this forum! I didn't know this thread existed.

Most of the bugs mentioned in this thread have been fixed in the most recent version, aside from the 'edges' of development (such as after the eidolon in the north-most town) it's pretty bug-free and a good representation of the game as it should be, it just needs more vigorous work put into it.

I've said it before but I'll say it again, it's a darn shame I have to use the ring-of-lust sprites as placeholders, I'm just not that good of a sprite artist. So if you know anybody who would be interested in a little art-stuff, let them know I'm keen on it!

The most recent additions to the game (which will be coming out in the next version) include a simulated day-night time progression which keeps track of how much time you spend playing so various events can progress (such as pregnancy duration of your captured girls) and plot points.

Additionally there will be a fantastic new option at character generation, I won't spoil it but I think it'll be very popular, and open up the game to more than just futanari fans.

Conquest of Avindale is one of the best games of the genre I have played in a long, long time. And it is in English, so all the better =p

I have been posting on your blog a little bit too. Anyway, keep up the great job. =p

I'm kinda interested to see how this will all pan out.

On one hand, I'm THRILLED to see that you have "good" options and that it looks like you'll be able to try to free yourself from the demon instead of embracing it, try to listen to your father and so on. Bringing yourself out of the darkness is a concept I'm very fond of. On the other hand, since the game seems to be based around building an army of monsters through various means and corrupting towns, I'm not sure how possible a "good" playthrough will be. Still, it's different and I'll definitively be keeping an eye out to see how it goes :)

Wow! I thought that this project was done for! What a nice surprise :D

As far as playing a "good" side, although I haven't played the latest version yet, I suppose one could gain minions of positive moral alignment: militia, priests, maybe even an angel? To keep with the same kind of gameplay ideas. Instead of corrupting areas, you could venture to free places from corruption? Idk. That's my two cents.

Idk Urthos. That would require an entirely new main quest aside from the corruption. I think the game is still in a far too early stage for this. Then again, that is just my opinion. =p

I'm loving this game so far i like the fact that you are the evil character in the game there aren't too many like that out there,

The nature of the story will easily allow for both a good and an evil path. I have it well figured out.

one thing that annoys me is that there doesnt seem to be any sex scene with your cleric yet, (she separates from you in the war room, so having her give you a blowjob/sex on the throne in that room would be good)


and that the bandit leader (skullfuckers bandits) is a hot girl, but not only cant you have sex with her, she doesnt even count as a "female collected" it just seems like a very small reward for such a hard battle.

the manor house has a bunch of locked doors, but no way i can see to open them, even corrupting the it doesnt seem to do anything.

corrupting the village gets you supply's but doesn't seem to actually DO anything to the village.

also, none of anglerfish's skills seem to be of any use at all, his melee attack does more than any of his spells, and stun/kick doesnt seem to actually STUN anything

one thing i would like to see is the ability to use your "dark magic" outside of battle, like you can with heal, using sensitivity on clarissa should net you some amusing dialogue

For my part, I think the game has some promise.

I'm especially looking forward to being able to put your converted succubi to use, various interactions with your captured girls and father, full implementation of the various magics you can buy from that other succubus, a realisation of the monster breeding program, various sex-scenes in the corrupted and captured towns, and some examples of what uses you'll have for your soul supply, hired bandits, and army-count.

I hope they're all satisfying. Thus far things don't seem half-assed, just heavily unfinished.

i downloaded the new version and when the girl turns demon she laggs and starts walking right and stucks walking right, in the previous version had that on the caverns under your base when you meet the boss

Can you be more specific as to where this occurs and at what point it does so and what choices if any you make prior to the issue?

I think he is referring to that common RPGmaker bug where the character gets stuck walking right. That is an RPGmaker issue, not a game issue. If you google it, you will see that there are several links about it.

If he walks right again you can only fix it by pressing "num pad button" "6" for the arrow right, same works for all other directions.

up: numb 8
left: numb 4
right: numb 6
down: numb 2

Got it? A Game restart doesn´t work.

It gets a passing grade in terms of concept; it don't appeal much to me but its interesting so I'm sure it appeals to someone. It gets a failing grade in terms of aesthetics and flashy stuff. It utterly fails as a porn game though. Does it even matter if you choose female or futa? She can't even fuck/get rape by guys or monsters. Also, how is she raping girls if you didn't choose futa?

Did you read the part about it being a demo? Even if you somehow missed that and the "50% of game complete" at the top of the developer's site, you must have seen that it was version 0.43 when you downloaded it.

Not bad, all things considered.

It needs some re-polishing(/needs more staff members?) though. The later parts of the game, (when the creator was more experienced, obviously), is vastly far better than the earlier parts of the game.
