Re: RoR Game Concept; Need Programmers and Artists

Alright i'll try;) but all these sexual advances have to stop, I can't get my work done right:mad:.
Also i has questions. I'm designing the conveyor belt and I'm just wondering if you want it more comical(like you see her skeleton and like a zap yellow zigzags around her then a little smoke coming off her when she falls on the conveyor belt) when Liliana gets hit by was it hanging lights or just wires from the ceiling.
Also attachments nothing worthwhile just some objects just confirm the conveyor will get around to animating it this week possibly.
My idea for it is the middle and two sides will be cropped separately so you can extend in for forever if you wanted(with the middle section).
Yeah, that'd work. I particularly like the sprite of Lilianna bending over to curiously press a button on the console.

Yea that's the sprite that she'll be wearing clothes before the gears tear them off also(she bends a little bit more that's 1 of the 6 frames i tried to make it shorter but it didn't look right). I made it nude so it could be reused for other things possibly.

Yeh, I was thinking the same thing~...

EDIT:

This is sorta what I had in mind for the gameover on the monitor boss, except more 2-D:

OK i guess i can do something sorta like that but i have some sprites in motion
for some basic actions you have them already, but i just felt like making a small compilation gif,
i gotta edit her attack for standing looks odd.
Also the rafflesia rape transition

I got sidetracked as i normally do and began making a new game takes place
in a very dark medieval fantasy world, I like pixel art now more than cg so everything will be in pixel art(i still need much more practice as you can see),spoiler to save space but it will be kept aside for now I'll focus more on this game
spoiler to save space

...... yea i feel really bad about leaving you hanging but i lost all confidence in my abilities and was foolish to think i could help you with the project.

I just can't make a game without any programing skills and very poor art skills, but i am as of now learning to program and my sprite art has improved a bit since
, sorry for getting your hopes high then just outright ignoring this, it was not very nice of me.

Maybe in the future I'll be able to help people with their projects without total failure, I'm just not ready yet.

Meh it's okay about abandoning me...

Also, on another note, that girls' eyes are a bit too square for my tastes...

Ideas are nothing, execution is everything.

You can't hope to get anything done if all you have to offer are "ideas", ideas are dime a dozen.

If you really want to see this happen all you have to do is get up off your lazy ass.

Learn something of actual value for the project and don't expect to get people to do everything for you, idea people from the gaming industry started as programmers or artists or something.

Learning how to draw and animate is quite hard, it could take you anything from a year to five years to start consistently producing quality work, I personally didn't believe in natural talent and more on hard work and dedication, but after art school and years in the biz now and seeing so many people never "get it" I have come to believe that drawing is %50 talent and %50 dedication.

On the other hand, learning game maker is easy as hell, provided you have a little bit of intelligence. You can go from totally new to being able to build functional games in just one month, working only on weekends; if you pick the correct learning resources of course, pressing buttons at random to see what they do won't get you anywhere.

If you really want to see this game (or any other game idea of yours) happen then by all means learn game maker, pick up the books and the program on thepiratebay and in a few weeks you will be making games, then and only then you have a chance of getting someone to make art for it.

I might have some free time between contracts to take a go at this in the near future, if you provide the art assets. I know gamemaker reasonably well, and my other project is sort of in limbo while the artist is busy.

I wont give promises yet, but I'll look over the thread.

And even though you have been told the same thing a MUTHA FUCKING BILLION TIMES you choose to spend your time sobbing about what could have been instead of doing something of actual worth? Way to go dude!

Because I say things as I see them, and people get offended because there tends to be a lot of truth to all the crap I say, truth other people are afraid to say knowing that it will be ill received, even if it could help the other person better themself.

Random internet memes don't work on me.

Speaking the truth of my beliefs is very different from trolling, if you choose to call me troll to shift the guilt you may feel from what I said then be my guest, you're only fooling yourself.

Because you lack 3 things. Common Sense, Common Courtesy, and Tact. "I CALLS IT HOW I SEES IT" is the stupidest excuse any user of Language can try to use. According to your logic, it would be safe to assume you blurt out the first thing that comes to your mind when in public as well as online, all the time.

Now, taking for granted that the sort of behavior described would be ridiculous if exhibited in public... RIGHT? You have just as much obligation to STFU online. You aren't stating a matter of opinion, it isn't valid and applicable, it's presented late to the topic, and is ultimately detrimental to the project, if not your own petty argument. Even if you absolutely HAD to say it, there's much nicer ways that would probably actually help things move forward in the longrun.

There are plenty of people out there who would gladly take ideas to turn into a finished piece, this is anyone who wants a job in the industry, for example; Personally, I'd be thrilled to work on this project if not for two facts: H-Games are terrible portfolio padding for mainstream industry, and none of it applies to my preferred field of expertise.

Re: RoR Game Concept; Need Programmers and Artists

Every time I see a new post in this section for some reason I think someone is working on an actual game and making some progress.

All I ever see is fantasies about girls getting brutally raped by tentacles, that and whines and flames. (No offence to the rpgmaker dudes, rpgmaker is just not my thing)

So dissapointed.
