Re: Wrap-Up (Everybody!)
The smell entered her nose, sweet with that hint of harshness that blood has. Something was wounded nearby, and she was going to find it. Rising from the bed of branches and leaves she was laying on, Tsuki moved over to the nearby treetrunk and started climbing, her sharp claws making such work easy. Moving from tree to tree, she searched for the source of the smell, easily navigating the entwined branches that made up the thick forest canopy until she found it. It was a wild boar, trailing blood as it moved through the forest floor, wounded by something... something Tsuki couldn't see. She followed the boar stealthily, until it collapsed. Rather than leaping down to take the meal, she waited, curious about what felled the boar in her jungle.
She didn't have to wait long. A figure emerged from the brush following the trail of blood. It was a human, Tsuki could just barely remember what they looked like, it had been so long since she'd last seen one, and carrying a long rod which Tsuki's memory dimly reminded her was called a 'rifle', a dangerous weapon. Even so, as the man knelt to drag the boar off, Tsuki couldn't help but feel a burning heat in her breast. This was her forest, and this human was just going to come in here and steal her food? Not likly!
Leaping from the canopy above, Tsuki landed on all fours just in front of the human. Giving a warning growl and smashing the ground with her long tail, she made it clear that this human was not welcome. He didn't seem to take the hint however, stumbling backwards and bringing the rifle up. Not giving him a chance, Tsuki pounced on him, her clawed hands pinning him to the ground. Giving him a few seconds of terror, Tsuki quickly ended his life, closing her jaws around his neck, the warm taste of blood filling her mouth. Pulling away, she reared her head back, releasing a triumphant cry, the Black Moon Dragon, no longer a human, Akatsuki was a monster now. Another piercing cry issued forth from the dragon's mouth...
Shocking Tsuki into waking. Looking down at her clawed hands, still humanlike, and realizing that it was a dream. Hugging her changed body, Tsuki felt like crying. Everything had gone wrong since she arrived in this hellhole of a town, and now she had nowhere to go, she was a freak, a monster. When she noticed her weapons and armor, she felt a twinge in her heart. Reaching over to grasp the hilt of Barbarian, feeling it slightly differently with her changed hand, she realized she'd still be able to fight with it, but not at the same level she used to. The armor too felt strange as she put it on, her scaled skin almost feeling like the material the armor was made of. Still, she knew it would protect her.
Her gear ready again, Tsuki searched deep inside for her inner power. She wouldn't make the same mistake she had last time. Swearing this to herself, she left the room she was staying in and went in search of the other women.
