I've got a partial translation. It's more work than you can imagine to translate the sex scenes. It doesn't feel as rewarding either, but I'll definitely get to it eventually, especially since summer break's right around the corner.

Oh please do translate it, so far it's my favourite in terms of quality and the amount of content it has.

I haven't checked in for a while, so i thought i'd post an update.

As it is now, i don't have much time to translate stuff because of exams. The last one will be on 20th june, so after that i will have a shitload of free time.

Btw, i heard an announce of illusion's new game where you can raise a daughter and romance her or something like that. Anyone knows anything about it?

I'm using the latest version of Adobe Flash, and I didn't move any files around but it doesn't work.

You'll want to be using Adobe Flash Player, not Adobe Flash.
If you're using this make sure that you have extracted out the download and are NOT running the game from within the zip.

Sorry, I'm not very computer savvy. What do you mean by extracting out the download? If you mean taking everything out of the folder, I've tried that yesterday and it didn't work.

You don't know what a zip file is? Ooooh boy.

Compression is what is commonly used to compress a file or files to a single file, called an archive. The compression technique used determines the format of the archive, ZIP is usually used as it works across platforms as standard.

You cannot run the game in this archived state, you must unpack the files from the archive.
In order to do this, unzip the archive. This is basically reversing the above compression process and gives you the original files, following the intended folder structure.

When you unzip a JSK game you get:

ZipName/
	GameName.swf
	sub/
		GameFile.swf
		...

Where of course you'd substitute in the naming, but the important thing is that the folder structure matches the above pattern. The game must be in the same folder as the "sub" folder, and the "sub" folder must contain the rest of the game's resources.

If you need further assistance in this consider using private messaging so we can work something out and simply post a solution instead of cluttering the thread.

EDIT:

Solution found.

For WinRAR you do the following:

Download archive to some folder, let's call this file "GameName".
Right click -> Extract to GameName\
Navigate to this new folder, run the SWF from that folder.

I've figured it out, thank you for you time .

Hi, a couple of days ago I had a problem with swf files, the games listed here are always operated normally in firefox, but when I downloaded 2 different file swf and tried to open it, something happened to firefox and all times I try to open a file of this type, a window si opening and asking whether to open or save the file and when i chose to open, another one opens, and so again.
I tried to change the program with which to open the games, the first time with Internet Explorer worked, but when I changed it, came back the usual window ......
I tried to download some software to open swf files, but not all games were open and not all the scenes can be see, I don't know what to do .....
Sorry for bad translate english.

It's taken me many more months than I had originally anticipated, but the first draft of the Devil Girl translation is complete and ready for testing. So, if English is your first language (or if it's not, but you think it's good enough), and you'd like to help, then send me a PM if want to test the translation.

Some notes:

I'm aware that some of the interface is untranslated. I think this is because those parts are images, not text, so they don't appear in the output of the translation application I'm using. The position and clipping of some translated text is not perfect too, I think I'm aware of all those instances and I'm working to resolve those.

A couple of the endings have really bad translations. I might ask some of the other translators for help on those, but don't be surprised if you get to an ending and the text makes little or no sense, I'm aware of that.

I've translated the utterances very literally e.g. I've left her laughs as "fu fu" for the most part, she says "kuu" a lot, etc. If you think you have a better idea about what any of these should be, I'd welcome your opinion.

What I particularly struggled with, and where I need most help, is resolving context. The errors I'm looking to catch are those where either the player or the devil says something, but when I translated it I've made it sound like the other person is saying it. Also please let me know about anywhere I've used the incorrect tense, or if the flow of a conversation doesn't seem to make sense. Any untranslated Japanese characters in conversation I need to know about too. It's taken me quite a while to get to this stage, so I may not have been entirely consistent with some terms in the translation, so let me know about inconsistencies too.

I've not tested all paths, so I'm looking for people to try as many routes as possible, note down text which doesn't sound right, where it occurred, and whether you have an opinion on what it should be. That would help a lot.

Finally, just an explanation about the "Contract" stuff in the game. It's not explicitly explained, but basically what the devil girl is referring to is a magical pact between her and the player, formed by the act of intercourse. It gives one power over the other, which explains why she's so against it in certain routes.

EDIT: I appreciate all the offers of assistance I've received so far, but if your PM contains very basic spelling and grammar mistakes, I'm not likely to trust your input! I don't want to sound snobbish, but I'll only want to accept so many offers of help and I'll be prioritising those who can string together a simple sentence without errors.
