"Okay then." Ashley replied, only slightly downcast. So far, they hadn't encountered anything the couldn't handle, and that had inflated her ego somewhat. "You can go to Firelight! If you don't know where that is, I can give you directions!" Then, she would proceed to give them detailed directions, regardless of whatever they might reply to her with. "I'm going on to the sensor though, I have to make sure it's up and running before I can go back to base. Though, if Cassidy or Hali want to escort you back, that's fine by me." It seemed that Ashley either didn't hear, or didn't care about the statement of rank that had been made earlier.
*finding the area to be remarkably clean and in good condition despite all thats happened lately she frowned a bit thinking it was almost too good ot be rue that nothing had come into this area....still the thought of aquiring some needed medical supplies was one she couldnt pass up right now and decided to start searching for the supply house she knew to be in the area*
Cassidy marks down another mental tick in the "It's-an-AI" list, and puts on her most placid, airheaded smile for the marines.
"Oh..? Rank? I don't really know much about that. I think the Corps just hired me as entertainment.. I just dance in the mess! I barely even know how to use this thing.."
Two fingers placed on the pistol at her side, and she gives a helpless sort of shrug to emphasise the point.
"And.. I would offer to guide them back, but you know me and navigation, Hali..I could get lost on a legball pitch. I'll be more useful coming to the sensor.. I might be able to give you a leg up, or something.."
Football.. but what was the scatterbrained Asari dancer to know about that sort of thing..?
I groaned, not really trusting the asari alone with the civilian, and not trusting the two new comers much either... With a hand to my face, I wondered how Kiera could be so mean... "Whatever you say Commander, but with all due respect, I think we should all stick together, regardless of condition."
I took a deep breath and stretched me neck, a small grin irking onto my face. "I wouldn't want anything to happen to you without being able to back you up as much as I could!"
One mile east of Security Checkpoint Titan-3: Abstergo Corporate Housing, Medicinal Drug Storehouse; Kalica.
Kalica begins to meander around, heading in the direction of the medicinal storehouse in the area. While the corporate housing looked nice, every door she tried was locked - and without a hacking tool, she couldn't get into them. She had her access key to the storehouse though, and getting into that wouldn't be a problem... or so she thought.
Turning the corner to the storehouse, Kalica was quick to dodge behind the building again, carefully glancing out from behind it. Standing in front of the subterranean entrance to the storehouse was one of the larger humanoid creatures, his back turned to the woman. This one looked different than even the armored one she fought near the sensor node; it was even better equipped, it seemed. She could probably sneak the last two rounds of her clip off before it realized her, or she could get out of here.

1 Mile Northwest of Firelight: Carmina Delage's house, Convenience Store; Ashley, Hali and Cassidy
"...Firelight's the closest base?" The Mechanic asked, "I can head back there by myself." He said, checking his rifle. Theresa rolled her eyes, looking up at the group, "I'll come with you all," She murmured, taking a step forward, "If your superior officer can't use a pistol, you guys can use all the help you can get."
"I don't think we have a stripper pole in the mess hall," Kiera murmured into their headsets. As the groups set out, Kiera patched the two new comers into her network, allowing the team to work together.
2 Miles Northwest of Firelight: Subtly Fuse Industries headquarters, Sensor Node.
The sensor node was located in a large complex, known as Subtly Fuse, a manufacturer of high-end consumer technology. They were the first company to establish their corporate campus on Titan, and now had several complexes on the station - their 'headquarters' being the smallest one, amazingly.
It was eerie, walking past the empty guard house, it's security gate blown wide open. The auto turrets were non functioning, and some cars were still left in the parking lot. Their medic, Theresa, shivered as she looked around.
"I did the first three months of service here... I don't think this place has ever been so still," She whispered into the mic. The team moved quickly through the parking lot, around a corner of the central building to the security quarters, somewhat surprised by the lack of 'orcs', as Kiera had begun to call them. Activating the sensor node was easy; all they really had to do was give a boost to Ashley so she could climb up onto the roof of the security quarters, push a few buttons, and a the network came to life.

It took a few moments for Kiera to assess the current situation, leaving the women in the dark - just enough time for them to help Ashley off the roof.
"Based on the current reads I'm seeing... I think you all should leave that area immediately," The VI said calmly.
One Mile Southwest of Firelight: Juniper's Apartment Complexes; Circe, Ruri, Laina
Circe: Aims at Bigga and fires; uses 1 EP.
Attack 1: 16 + 4 = 20 vs. 13 + 3 = 16; Damage: 3
Laina: Fires at Bigga; uses 1 EP.
Attack 1: 9 + 3 = 12 vs. 4 (Autohit); Damage: 1
Ruri: Fires at small orc, then takes cover; uses 2 EP.
Attack 1: 9 + 2 = 11 vs. 2 (Autohit); Damage: 1
Ruri is the only character left with EP again.
The women are all quick to take action, both Circe and Laina aiming at the Bigga; While he wasn't put down by their rounds, it was easy to tell he was on his last legs, panting heavily as the creature leaned against the wall for support. Ruri used her marine training to aim down the sights of her pistol, striking the smaller orc too, who growled in pain. She still had enough time to squeeze off some more rounds before everyone recovered...
*cursing her luck to herself she sighed and decided tot ake off. she could come back to the store house later maybe with someone others to help clear the area out with her so they could get to the supplies. For now she decided to et backon her way to the sensor node as quietly as she could*
Ashley came down off of the roof with a big goofy grin on her face, obviously pleased with herself for having fixed the sensor. When Kiera issued her report, however, her grin disappeared, replaced by a look of concern, and she said; "Why? What's here that we need to worry about?"

Two Miles Northeast of Firelight Base: Heckin's Bar and Grill, Sensor node; Kalica.
There really wasn't a whole lot left of this portion of Titan; she noticed there was a small Bar and Grill still standing, but the sensor node was further north, on top of a small, uninhabited bunker. Using her acrobatic skills, she climbs up onto the bunker, activating the node with little trouble.

"Kalica, you're doing great," Kiera said over her headset, "I'm not picking up a lot of movement near your location... but I'm reading your heart beat has recently increased. Are you feeling tired? If so, I suggest taking a break for an hour or two. I don't want you to be stranded outside of Firelight, but laying low may be a good thing to do."
((Kalica's too far to make it back to Firelight, since she stayed and searched around. You can use one EP to make fortifications (most likely in the bunker), which will reduce your chances of enemies finding you while you rest up enough to get back to Firelight.))

*With that all taken care of she turned her sights back for the Firelight base ready to catch a breather once she got there but for now she felt she could make it.*

"Well, good enough for me!" I shrugged taking a rather large step towards anything that could be considered cover, "Who's with me?" My voice was a little soft, and quite shaky as my eyes scanned the area for anything that could be considered hostile. (Sorry for the hasty post)
Even playing the role of a ditz, Cassidy wasn't stupid enough to start whistling as they moved through the abandoned lot. This had trap practically written all over it.
To give credit to her acting skills, though, the Asari -is- the first to volunteer to give Ashley a boost up to activate the sensor, and her "What?" smile doesn't go far. Everyone, after all, knew what Asari were like..
The smile, however, turns a little more serious with the VI's announcement over the radio.
"Works for me. Back to Firelight..? I'm not sure about you lot, but I'd really like to get some R & R..."
Stupid ditz plan. I've chosen it now, though... might as well keep it up as long as possible. Being thought of a ditz, and treated as such is better than a swift trial and summary execution out here. Wouldn't put it past the humans to ignore due process in this kind of situation..

"Glad to see you have that go get'em attitude, Kalica... Too bad you weren't in the service; you could have been the Lieutenant Commander I'd be taking orders from."
Kiera chuckled a little, but kept watch over the Runner as she ventured towards the hospital...
One Mile Northeast of Firelight Base: Nuvela's Wings Hospital; Kalica.
As Kalica was about to round a corner, a quick command from Kiera stopped her:
"Runner Kalica, hold!" She said. The woman pushed against a somewhat still-standing wall as Kiera began to explain, "Kalica, you're about to head to the Nuvela's Wings Hospital, named after an Asari scientist. I'm picking up signals inside of it that aren't just what I'd consider friendly; Don't worry, they're human..." Kalica edged towards the corner of her wall, sticking her head around it to get a good view, "...But they are not nice humans."
Nuvela's Wings was absolutely huge, nearly 12 stories tall, taking up almost an entire city block. It was heavily fortified (just in case there ever was an attack on Titan), making it an easily defended structure. Just seeing the Yellow, black and white armor on the men and women immediately highlighted the area as a danger zone for Kalica, since she knew who was running the place now: The Yutani gang, deadly mercs who didn't think twice about putting a bullet between someone's eyes.
"I say find a way around them, Kalica - and then avoid this place like the plague... At least, until you have a stronger group of individuals to help clear it out," Kiera said, "Because right now, it's way too hot to go there by yourself."
2 Miles Northwest of Firelight: Subtly Fuse Industries headquarters, Sensor Node; Cassidy, Hali, Ashley and Theresa.
"Well... in that square mile, you're the only life signatures I'm reading - and trust me, these nodes are strong enough to pick up bugs. That means no 'orcs', no humans, no rabbits, nothing. You all need to leave that place now."
"I like what the VI is saying," Theresa said, expanding the virtual display over her eye to get a better look of the area.
One Mile Southwest of Firelight: Juniper's Apartment Complexes; Circe, Ruri, Laina
Ruri: Disappears.

The humans have initiative for 2 rounds.
"I have a clear shot at the small guy," Ruri said over the radio, "I think I might be able to take him out..." She said quietly.
...But after that, there was literally nothing. No reports of a pistol, no sounds from Ruri, absolutely nothing.
"What's going on?" Kiera asked over the radio, "I just lost track of Ruri's vitals. Do you either of you have a visual on her?" The VI seemed worried.
"Negative," Circe replied, looking up at the larger creature. It seemed to be having trouble breathing... and if she and Laina took their chance now, they could wipe out the green-skins without much resistance, "We'll find out what's going on in less than a minute, Kiera."
"Weird. More robots maybe? Can your sensors pick those up? Anyway, let's get out of here then." Ashley said aloud once Kiera had finished her report. "Might as well get back to Firelight. Kiera, can you give us some directions?" She continued, as she started looking around.
Annerose looks around the command center. For now she was okay with the other girls heading off, hoping that they would be able to figure out where the hanger was, so that she could get back into her walker. She yells up at Kiera, "Any sign of my walker yet? I really need it so I can get out of here..."
Circe finished informing Kiera and leveled her rifle at the smaller orc. "Mechanic Liana, the larger one looks like you could take him out with one or two shots from your pistol. I'll try to take out the smaller one with my rifle and end this quickly." Lining up a shot, Circe fired and ducked back behind cover, just in case.

"Hmm?" The virtual representation of Kiera turned around, looking down at the pilot, "Pilot Annerose, I don't believe we'll be finding your walker so soon. If you're looking for something to do, we have a bit of an emergency with Circe and Laina. The Medic Ruri seems to have disappeared, too..."
"You could try to clear out parts of the base with Reya," She said, nodding to the Lieutenant Commander.
Hali continued to something that could be used as covered, although now moving towards cover near the direction they came... "I agree with her, we should probably get back to the base." My eyes were peeled, concentrating on any movement... Could it be that this area was indeed patrolled by the kill-bots?
Annerose lets out a sigh of defeat and picks up her handgun, walking towards the direction that she saw Circe and Laina go, calling out to the AI, "They did go this way, right?"
