Managed to get a friend real good with my April Fool's joke. Ben and I switched our statuses on Facebook to "It's complicated" She texted to ask what was wrong and I told her I didn't want to talk about it. Then about an hour later I asked her what day it was.

Her text response of, "You ass" sent me into gales of laughter. It was glorious.

I'm having the opposite situation. Two friends of my fiance and I who met at the same time and on similar terms both posted themselves as married today, getting hitched because of some family problems on one side. They still have not said whether or not it's an April Fool's thing, and as happy as I am for them, I know if she finds out, my girl is gonna be pissed.

Well, in addition to artichokes for dinner tonight, which we haven't had in forever, I get a phonecall from the cuddlebuddy. "Hey, can I stop over? I've got a present for you."

CB then proceeds to arrive with rose in hand and kisses and snugs.

Happy Copper.

And I got to see the new car, too, though it belongs to CB's dad. Still, shiny. But much preferred the rose.

I read up on The Dividing Line today, and I gotta say that compared to now, my RP skills back then suuuuuuuucked.

Not the idea behind TDL though. The universe is totally fucking sweet.

Earthquakes abound! My state was rocking and rolling last night from midnight to about 0500 with 2 big ones (big to us anyway, highest being a 4.2 if I remember right) and some little ones, about 6 or 7 overall.

Don't think I'd say the same about the first point, but I have to agree with the second. That was a good game, I'm glad I wasn't able to ruin it with my usual glacial speed and neolithic writing skill.

went to see a play of driving miss daisy staring james earl johnes and angela lansberry.

The 90 minute story was basically non existent but decent dialogue and excellent acting made it come alive. Although its also strange that this play about old people is played by people who are older than their characters.

Totally stole the chest in tonight's Battle Game. Imperial Troops got the chest at the start of the round and held it for a good while, but their battle line ended up shifting away from where the chest was, I saw my opening, grabbed it and waltzed away.

Apparently, from a friend on the sidelines, they largely didn't notice until it was most of the way back to our control area.

And hopefully the bruises from tonight's combat will heal quickly ._.
