While it's possible they did it because it wouldn't be profitable, I have one major problem.

They announced the news to the press before they announced it to the cast and crew of Eureka.
Let me repeat that. In caps rage.
THE MOTHER FUCKERS FUCKING ANNOUNCED THE FUCKING INFORMATION TO THE FUCKING PRESS BEFORE FUCKING TELLING THE CAST AND CREW.
The cast and crew found out the same way the rest of the world did. Hell, they found out AFTER the rest of the world did.

How hard can it be for an office worker to copy an important governmental paper straight so that I can actually mail it in without having to run across town an extra time so that I can do it properly myself.

I seriously feel like using that complaint form they sent me just to complain about their staff's inability to do their damn job right, then resign from that course and pick up studying again despite being 3 months too late to sign up for uni. (Not that they'd accept me into genetics with a grade in computer engineering anyways)

And tomorrow I have to attend my sister's birthday even though I'd rather stay home and do something constructive, like sleeping.

I hate that whenever I manage to start accumulating money, my car decides it's going to start acting up. This time, it's puking power steering fluid and given that the line is rusted out, I have to take it into the shop to be fixed rather than turning it over to my uncle. I also hate that the shop is closed on Sunday, so I now have to wait until Monday to call and make an appointment with them. This also fucks up my friend's and my plans for going to the medieval faire tomorrow. She was going to drive anyway, but now she has to come and get me rather than me heading out to her place, with is inconvenient for her. Blagh.

I'm starting to hate people who take their opinion too seriously. It kinda struck me after reading a little debate between two folks on how Clint Mansell is going to ruin ME3's score.

Why can't people just accept things for what they are? "Gosh Darnit! This shit had better be the exact way I want it or else! Rawr!"

People have got to learn to sacrifice a tad. While there's one person who can hate something, there's bound to be another who loves it. Sure you can have your opinion, but what about that other opinion which completely opposes yours? Who is right? NO ONE!

It's fictional! That alone says it all. What's wrong with just enjoying it on a personal level? Why the dramatic fist shaking or paragon parades to others?

I know I'm trying to cutback on my critiques on the fantasy stuff. I can't help but think about the people who enjoy something I hate. It's like the best I can do to acknowledge their opinion is to keep mine to myself.

Almost this; I'm getting a hate-on (A hard-on made of rage) for those people who already know everything is going to be shit at the moment of it's announcement, regardless of what it is.

New game? Shit. New movie? Shit. New comic book, music, product, service? Shit, shit, shit, shit. God forbid they wait on making an opinion until they have some information on it or, worse yet, have actually seen it for themselves. Nope, it's all shit, all the time. It's shit all the way down, and I thought it was turtles.

Of course, there are always exceptions.
I mean, let's face it, anything that EA's in-house dev team (not a branch, the main studio) makes is going to be shit nowadays.
Can't really speak for movies, though I think it's a safe bet to say Michael Bay is shit?
And don't even get me started on Frank Miller. Oh, he has his moments, but most of his stuff is shit.

Now, that's not to say that I won't see for myself whether it's shit or not. It's just that going in with the expectation of shit from those mentioned as well as some others 90% of the time allows me to have my own fun when it does turn out to be shit, rather than going in thinking "oh boy, I bet they did good this time," and then being so disappointed I rage and demand my money back.
Hell, if it actually turns out to be okay or even pretty good, I get to be happily surprised.

Indeed. A friend in high school acted like this for everything. Unless he was the one to bring up the film, game or whatever, it was shit. Fucking asinine.

I don't know a soul that watches Mad Men, hell I hardly know anyone that even knows about the show. But Walking Dead? Everyone and their dogs in these parts have been watching it, and are all eagerly awaiting the next season.

But after this? Damn, I'm glad I still got the comics.

I got into an accident today. I'm fine and my truck is (mostly) too, but the dickhead swerved out of one lane because of some roadkill right into my driver side, knocking me off the road. The cops show up and tell me that because I'm in a big truck, I can see farther than he could (he's in a Miata) and cited me at fault because "I should have seen the roadkill and known he'd swerve to avoid it."

What the Hell!?!!?!

I plan on fighting it with my insurance company because they ultimately are the ones that would have to pay. I assume they know the process to fight it, because I sure as hell don't.

Well, glad to hear that you're all right, Gator. Getting bumped off the road is a scary thing. Here's hoping your insurance company can help you fight it, especially since something like that, I don't think they can fault you for, despite what the cop says. And if anything, he shouldn't have swerved into your lane. That's what shoulders are for.

Hmmm, in Norway the rules are basically that if you hit some dude from behind its your fault. It says clearly in the law that you're supposed to be able to counteract any conceivable scenario, be it people swerving on the road, or trying to commit suicide via your front bumper.

On a completely different note, I both love and hate the fact that a change in my metabolism has made me susceptible to alcohol.
