Slightly off-topic, is it me, or has the Sega team been getting douchier towards fans ever since the Dreamcast failed? I mean yeah I know it's a common feeling that their games are getting shittier as the years go by, but it also feels like they're getting worse and worse in their relationship with fans as well.

In the frist place there is no copyright infringment unless you are making a profit off an intellectual property, just putting this out there.

Second, who the hell told you that Sega caused it?
A report can be made by pretty much anyone and i bet people at google have better minefield tournaments to deal with than check sources and facts for every dmca complain they get.
They just fuck you up and wait for you to complain about it, so if anything, it's zeta's fault for not being proactive if her site gets blocked.

Third, Sega is not a person, it makes no sense talking about companies as if they were individuals who follow a set logic to take actions.

Oh so every little piece of fanart and fananimation is fine but when it gets interactive it's not? I'm sorry, but I disagree; sega has zero claim on this as zeta isn't getting money from this other than maybe ad revenue (even then I'm not sure, I've got adblock on and am feeling too lazy to check).

Sega is within their rights to seek anything and shut it down. PX is just.... above the surface, so to speak, in popularity. And it shared 90% of the name Project X Zone. So it must mean Sega has known of this for a while. It's not because Sega wants to be mean and take your toys away.

It is Sonic Hentai. All they know is it is not their preferred vision of their franchise to have sex on-screen. Heck, I don't think anyone's had sex in canon for years, given how long Sonic's stayed 15.

It could be any game. Maybe the next thing they'll take down is some flash from Newgrounds. PX merely got... hit by their campaign.

I'm seeing a lot of hate for SEGA for whats been done to this game but not one thing towards the truely responceable ones, unless I missed something the makers of Girl vs Girl were the ones who bitched to SEGA because there was a pirate link to their payed game in Project X's forum which has Tron Bonne as one of the characters and would be under copyright infringement, correct?

I've probably got my facts an fictions mixed up somewhere but I'm sure that was how this started. All this aside it saddens me to see this game go down it was a very fun one to play as both hentai and a regular game.

The creators of the game would probably be a lot better off making an original IP that they can sell. I hate Sonic and only ever liked this game to a minor level because it was so well made and the people behind it had some actual talent. It wasn't an ugly piece of garbage made by a hack with an ego issue. My tolerance for furry porn isn't very high either so had this not been as nice as it was, I'd of ignored it completely. I can't really grasp why such talented people wanted such a large product and community focused on Sonic fanon, but I'm not them I guess.

I can only wish the people who worked on it the best and hope for a successful future project.

Copyright law and what constitutes a parody are both very very vague and grey area subjects. Usually if a big name company decides to shut down a parody work of a small time person like the folks at Project X, there isn't much you can do, since you really couldn't afford to take them to court over it.

I really don't understand why Sega would choose to shut them down though. They weren't making this for profit, so it seems like a big cheeseball "fuck you" to the creators and the fans of the game then any sort of "protecting our intellectual property" thing.

Since it IS their property, they can do as they please.. I just fail to see the point in doing so.

Apparently, a lot of things related to PSO2 that caused them to be as horrible like this now. Hatred, Bully-Attitude and a big screen of "FUCK EVERYONE NOT SEGA-MEMBERS!!!" plastered around.

I believe they need to be shut down for doing a lot of dumb and unncessary actions that have caused the suffering and pain of others they inflicted, through their complete nonsensical attacks. Its starting to get beyond dull. Especially to one of my favorite H-Games, such as Project X included. It makes my blood boil.

quiet noob, no clue what u talking about so they took down parody group so what they didn't have sega's consent to make this parody it was their own fault they should change alot of char sprites. Second quiet about Sega still solid company plus they own Atlus now any says to shut down sega means to shut down Atlus can go kiss my ass go F"ck yourself kid.
