"Ha! A trap! The only trap we'll need is to trap those foul creatures between my fists and a wall!" Bob shouts, and rushes back down the stairs. The dumogi follow after him, and Domon shakes his head and palms his face, and indicates for her to go first.

" Bob, wait!" Eva said, then quickly realized it was far to late to stop him or the little black creatures. Thanks to Bob, it seemed they were going to take the brute force route and change right in. Almost feeling as frustrated as Domon looked, Eva let a sigh out then quickly followed Bob and the dumogi, her sword ready.
Eva rushes downstairs to find Bob already swatting away one of the gray skinned demons, and watches as one of its compatriots moves in to slash at him with its claws.
The demons claws draw angry red marks along bobs side. The two dumogi are preparing a spell, aimed at the last of the demons which is standing back, apparently preparing a spell of its own. The Fey finish first, however, a bolt of flame rushing out to strike the demon.
Casting: 10 + 10 = 20 vs 15 = Success.
To-hit: 9 + 20 = 29 vs 25 = hit.
Damage: 8 x 5 = 40 damage.
The ball of fire strikes the demon and explodes, killing it and charring the house around it. Small fires catch in various places.
" Revolting..." Eva mumbled to herself upon seeing the demon explode, guts and fire scattering everywhere. Even though she was a bit disturbed by the mages death, she took notice to what was happening. Seeing that the two demons were still alive Eva rushed to her companions aid. The girl ran, charging in, going right for the demon that had just clawed at Bob. With her sword's hilt being gripped tightly by both her hands, she pulled the weapon inward a bit, before thrusting it out, attempting to stab the demon that cut her comrade. Her blade was aimed for the chest yet again, being trusted at it with a large amount of the girls strength.
Evas stab doesn't go to deep before the demon pulls back and away from the sword, not doing much damage. But that is all the distraction Bob needs as he turns his massive fists to the demon that had just clawed at him.
His fist swats this one away just as easily, and Domon and the dumogi are content to watch the two warriors deal with the two remaining wounded demons. Both rise up from Bobs swats, ready to resume the battle despite their wounds and losses.
Unsatisfied with her last attack Eva tried once more, confident that she would finish this thing off quickly. Gripping her hilt tightly the girl took a step back, glaring at her foe, and bent her knees before quickly lunging right at the demon she had just stabbed. her arms trusted outward, Her swords blade was aimed for the things stomach this time and not the chest.
Bob turns back to the first demon he'd hit, and hammers it into the wall once more. This time he follows up with a straight punch, which smashes the demons head into the wall. Eva hears a sickening cracking sound, blood splattering from either side of Bobs fist, and the last demon collapses.
Hearing a loud and nasty sounding crack, Eva turned to Bob. She cringed a bit at the sight, not use to the sight of blood and guts just yet. Suddenly, a small smile spread across Eva's face. The battle had been won and none of her comrades had been killed or seriously hurt. ' I wish my father was here...' the girl thought to herself, knowing the knight would be proud of how she had done in her first real battle. Her smile fading, Clara took her sheath strap off of her back, then quickly slid her sword blade into it, not in need of the weapon at the moment. She quickly put the strap back on her.
Clara then walked over to Domon and spoke to him," I guess that's the last of them. What do we do now? " she asked, curious as to what the plan was now.
"We mend our wounds, and find more demons to slay. Only when we find and destroy the one who opened the portal will we be free of the demons and their corruption." Domon replies, and then begins casting a spell. Eva finds that her wounds have healed, and she feels reinvigorated.
More fighting. Eva was fine with that, half the reason she had been sent here was to kill the demons pouring out of the rift. Thinking of the rift and what Domon had just said regarding it, Eva decided to ask a question after thanking the fey for healing her. " Thank you Domon. " she said then paused, then continued to speak. " Domon, could you tell me what you know about who opened the portal? " Eva and the people she knew hadn't known the portal had been opened by one person.
Domon replied; "If only we knew, this would likely never have happened. Each time a portal has opened we have beat back the demons invading our world, at the cost of many lives. Each time, we hope to find the demon or daemon that opened it, so that we might end the threat forever. But each time, we have been met with failure, as after a while the portal closes. Even the great daemon, Matthias, has never been able to find the one who creates the portal even when he goes through to look on the other side."
Eva listened to Domon, interested in what he had to say. After hearing about this portal opener and Matthias, who she knew nothing about, she spoke to the fey." Whoever keeps opening these portals must be very powerful. I wonder if we would be any match for this opponent... " Even with big Bob and Domon Eva doubted they would be any match for this portal opening demon, or daemon. She quickly decided that she had little to worry about, chances were they wouldn't be running into this person any time soon.
After a short moment Eva spoke to her companion again, " I'm ready to move on whenever you all are. " she said, ready to slay more demons.
Eva nods to Bob, taking the hint that he wants her to go first, and followed Domon and the dumogi out the front door. The girl was ready for the next battle, even a little excited for it, and wondered what they would all face next.
Eva steps outside and immediately steps into Domons back, as he seems to have stopped just as he left the building. Bob says; "What's the hold up?"
Looking over Domons shoulder, Eva sees a pair of knights, garbed entirely in black armor, standing over the bloody bodies of Gleep and Gloop, the two dumogi looking like they'd been crushed into a pulp by the two knights. One of them speaks, his voice loud, arrogant, and deep; "Well... What have we hear? A Fey wizard and a troll? Oh, they've got a snack for us too. How thoughtful. You might not be EXACTLY what we're looking for, but you'll do just fine as a gift for our masters."
Eva cringed at the sight of her fallen companions, then looked away. She wasn't certain if Gleep and Gloop were dead or not, but it sure looked like they were. She put her attention onto the knights as soon as one of them began to speak. The amount of arrogance in the mans voice and being referred to as a snack really annoyed Eva. The girl wanted to them when they did to poor Gleep and Gloop, however she didn't think rushing in and attacking was a good idea. Instead of saying anything Eva waited for Domon to speak up, or to give some kind of signal as she drew her weapon out. If he gave the word, or sign, to attack, Eva would charge in along side Bob and fight.
The two dumogi don't seem to be moving at all, and Eva guesses that if they're still alive they might not be for very long. Domon takes a slow step forward, allowing her and Bob to move past him if they have to, and replies; "You are destined for nothing more than oblivion, demon. My kind have beaten you back every time you've tried to invade our world. This will be no different, and all of us know of the sacrifice we might have to make to preserve our world from your kind and their foul taint. But know this;" Domon says, and electricity forms between his hands, a miniature bolt of lightning seeming to float between his palms.
"Some of us do not die so easily!" And thrusts forth his hands.
To-hit: 17 + 38 + 3 = 58 vs 58 = hit.
Damage: 6 x 8 = 48 - 10 = 38 + 3 = 41 damage.
Mind vs Mind: 12 + 30 + 3 = 45 vs 17 + 20 = 37 == Domon wins.
The bolt rushes out, striking and holding the demon knight as electricity flows out from the warlock and dances across the demons armor, causing the demon to writhe in pain. Eva rushes forward, Bob roaring in rage right behind her as they charge to fight the other demon knight. the demon rushes at them, but rather than attacking, her tries to force his way past to strike at Domon.
Eva slashes across with her claymore, striking against the demons armor as he moves past her. The blow bites into his flesh, but not enough to stop the demon as he charges past to strike at the warlock. Bob moves to intercept, but the demon quickly rolls aside and comes to his feet only a few feet from Domon.
Eva quickly turned after her attack on the demon knight to see that the foe was only a few feet away from Domon. Her eyes went wide seeing that the fey was about to be attacked. She gripped the hilt of her claymore tighter then quickly rushed towards the demon, trying to stay out of Bob's way, as she suddenly lunged at the opponent, thrusting her her sword at the demon knight in hopes her attack will land and stop him from attacking, possibly killing, her comrade.
