Melissa lets out a growl as she listens to the Director's pronouncement.

"Can't disagree with you there, Mina... but what's at the prison that makes it better than the Inn? Is there another camp of survivors? And why can't she send a pickup truck with some guards!? We can't WALK all that way! A silly news copter would only hold - what, four? six? - people. My car only holds that many too..."

She starts pacing, trying to figure out some way of accomplishing this task. As a side effect, she doesn't demand the radio from Jenn to scream at the Director.

(I'm going to go out on a limb here and guess that the ones killed before the goddess fight look the same as the ones here except the dead ones had white hair?)

(Also, can I get a check on if Jenn figures out the director probably knows Mina's secret, just based on how nothing else seems to escape her? Or at least how suspicious Jenn might be that she knows?)

Jenn was torn. On one hand, leaving these women alone would be as good as dooming them to at least a life as a breeding tool if not outright death. On the other hand, 11 women walking through the city, only two with weapons and 8 very naked and quite possibly unable to fight... well that would probably end with them in the same situation, but with Jenn, Mina, and Melissa thrown in as well. Plus... what if one of the rescued women got horny?

"Um... right. We'll give you our decision in a moment. Wait, what's 'the prison'?"

Jenn in unable to determine if the Director knows Mina's secret...

Mina somehow seemed to know the answer to her question about the prison, however...

"Jesse said that's the place where people like me are. She said that the prison was really awesome, and had all kinds of stuff inside, like tasty food, electricity, nice people, and comfy beds!" Mina said to Jenn, as if having a high opinion of the Prison.

And at that announcement, the crowd of hermaphrodites went silent, as they watched the three girls.

Her enervation forgotten, and her instant flash of anger cooled by pacing and time, Melissa's better ready to think.

"That's really only if the people are willing to squash together and sit in laps... I mean, I'm sure they would just to get out of here..."

She looks around at the expectant futa-women.

"Ask her if there's a way to contact the Prison... maybe they'll have a truck they can send."

(Twelve? I count 11. Pod #2 spat out the Mina-clone, pod #3 and #10 were attackers and empty, pod #4 had Mina inside. 8 pods left for futa-women, plus us three. That does assume the Goddess-pod didn't have a futa-woman of her own to play with.)

Jenn didn't receive and answer, but she didn't have to, as she knew in her mind, that four people could sit in the seats, and two others could just sit on the floor inside the helicopter, totaling to six people.

"I'm unable to directly contact the Prison. Last time I did, I walked there, and by the time I could do it again, it will already be dark."

"Alright, how does this sound: I'll take some of these women to the prison in the helicopter. You two can take the rest in your car. I'll stick around at the prison until you show up, and from there we should be good, right?"

Mina put her hands on her hips, and looked at Jenn threateningly,

"No you don't!" she warned, "You're not just gonna run away. These women need our help, and we need you here to help protect them! I don't care if you hate women with penises, I'd help YOU if you were in trouble!" she scolds Jenn.

(*strikes an "annoyed with quivering fist" pose* Amy... you really aren't into diplomacy, are you? You don't bother setting up a radio link between your group and the nearest theoretical ally? Errgh.)

Melissa thinks it over.

"Mina... if we can get them to the vehicles, then we won't need to protect them - because we'll be driving and flying and just generally moving faster than the monsters can. It's probably about as good a choice as we're going to get... now the problem is, how do we get them to the car and the chopper? I guess we'd best check and see whether there really is a service road leading back to the parking lot out there. Unless the pilot knows when he flew over the Zoo to drop off the other group..."

(Wheee... Melissa's been trying to avoid using the helicopter, and its male pilot, since thanks to Joseph, she's sure futas are highly attracted to men, beyond their ability to restrain themselves. Granted, Petersen could probably thump any one that tries, given how weak they are, but he can't be expected to do that while piloting...)

Melissa gives Jenn a mildly disappointed look.

"It's not that bad, Jenn... and, Mina, she's not realizing that the prison, from what you said, has more hermaphrodites. Ones with weapons, who aren't tired out from being raped by a pod-plant for days on end."

It would be childish to stick her tongue out at Jenn... so Melissa doesn't.

"I don't think any monster'll be able to attack once we're on the road, so all we have to do is get everyone safely to the parking lot. Even if there's a service road behind the greenhouse, I doubt the helicopter will be able to land on it - so we'll all be together as far as the parking lot, right?"

Mina turned to Melissa with a worried look,

"But... We're a team! A team doesn't split up! Besides! What if some big monster attacks the car on it's way? We'd need Jenn's help!" she states.

"True enough... but what a team is, is a group of people working to accomplish a common goal. If they need to do things at different places, then maybe they do split up. If you can talk to the Director, and have her send a car or a truck or a van, something we can all fit into, or at least stay with my car if we have to use two vehicles, then that would be best. But I'd rather split up and use the helicopter than try and walk all that way."

Melissa sighs.

"It's strange that she hasn't offered to have someone drive out, instead of using the helicopter, though... gasoline has GOT to be easier to get than aviation fuel, and there were lots of cars in the Inn parking lot..."

Melissa deflates a little, seeing Mina's downcast expression.

"Look... how about this instead. We load five of the rescuees onto the helicopter, and then all of us go with the last three crammed into my car. I guess there's no real reason one of us HAS to be with the helicopter crew... does that sound better?"

(Hrmph. If you insist on keeping the team together, RJ... )

"I don't know... I just can't shake this feeling, that something's gonna go wrong... I never really felt anything like this before, but it really makes me worried."
