The two girls smiled seductively at Azure, moving close to each other so that their cheeks are pressed together, eyes unmoving from Azure.

"What do you think?" one asked Azure, the other winked at her.

Azure squirmed more at the girls closeness, letting the blood run to her head and causing her to blush deeply.

"b.b..but... there's got to be something more to it... everyone here is... is..."

She motioned around the area and covered herself meekly.

"so... you're all... l.lesbians?"
"I didn't think there were enough batteries left in the city for that..."

The two girls looked at each other for a moment in surprise, then looked back to Azure.

"Well... Not exactly..." the left blond girl said, "Some women were effected by the attack... Making them... Different." she trailed off, seeming at a loss for words, as was her lover.

The woman before begins to continue, but her lover stops her, talking in her place, "It's a curse," she begins, "It changes women into something different... It makes us similar... to the monsters-"

Her friend cut in, she was in a fury, "You are not a monster!" she exclaimed, "You are my love, my heart, that's what you are!"

The other woman continued, "It makes us hermaphrodites." she admitted in a dark, cold tone, "Does that answer your question?" she asked, seemingly in a dark mood.

Azure shook her head slowly, not quite grasping the depth of what she was told.

"okay.. so.. you er.. have... ehem.. equipment? How does that make you like the monsters? I mean... those things are violent, nasty, and just plain out to do all kinds of horrible things to us... you're nice and.. well... how did that even HAPPEN to you?"

The woman lowered her head, "I don't remember. I just remember waking up in the street like this, naked."

"Does anyone else remember how it happened? Have there been any side effects? This sounds like something that should've been looked into when they invited you to stay... I'm glad you're safe.. but aren't you curious?"

The woman looked up, slightly angry, "We weren't invited, we founded this place. And the side effects are the fact that we're... like them, we need the energy of another woman to survive." she wraps her arm around her lover, who welcomes it in return, "But, I would never want to rape anyone in my right mind, I'll never succumb to the monster's lower instincts, I'll kill myself with my own gun if it comes down to it." she claims, and looks quite serious about it.

Her lover jumped in, "Don't talk like that! I'd never let you kill yourself! I love you!" she exclaimed.

She returned the gesture, "I love you to..." she said, leaning in to make a quick kiss to her, then looking back to Azure, "That's the way it is. Don't be surprised, stranger things have happened since a few days ago."

Azure could only smile and nod.

"I've seen that myself... lots of strange stuff going on... but... doesn't your attitude about it say everything? You're not a monster at all... I'm almost kinda jealous."

She winked at the girl playfully.

"I wonder if anyone else knows more about this though."

The girl shook her head, "Unlikely. I heard you talked to Emilia, and she's the one that you go to for all answers. Nobody else even heard of a, 'woman with white hair' until she told us, so if you talked to her, there'd be nothing anyone here could tell you."

Azure was starting to grow angry with the way no one ever wanted to share information and she always had to grab tidbits of information from people who had no idea what they were talking about. Though this time, at least, she did not blame Emilia. Why would the woman have even thought to mention such a thing, after all.

She quietly decided to write a few things down to question everyone about later.

"Thanks... I'll be sure to ask her about it later. I'll.. stop bothering you for now though... but I can't help but wonder..."

Azure gives up her line of questioning, just walking a bit off and taking a seat on her own to write up her list of things that women need to know about everything going on.

The two women go back to whispering with each other, and cuddling while they do so.

Azure looked around the area once more after finishing her notes, pocketing the small pad and looking for anything else to do. She didn't want to bother Emilia again so soon after leaving, but wasn't ready for bed in any sense either.

"Sometimes I feel like I get the short end of the stick... Regina was hot... Daisy was adorable... and I get shoved off on Rosemary. And everyone else around here seems to have someone already..."

Azure stomped off after reminding herself of getting shafted, only stopping to try to ask if there was a gym of some kind around the jail, remembering different reports she's seen of jails having that kind of equipment.

(Azure looks for the prison gym so she can burn off steam for the rest of the evening, training strength and constitution vigorously, until she's ready to pass out.)

As Azure heads to the gym, and changes into the gym clothes, she exercises on a number of different things, workout benches, treadmills, crunchers, you name it, all while getting many suggestive looks from some of the members of the gym.

As she sat on a pad to do crunches, one of the women working out took a break, to come over and look at Azure.

She was a red head, like River, although her hair was cut short, and in a way that made her face look cute. Her body was very well toned, and her muscles put Azure's to shame.

The red head stood over Azure, smiling at her, "Say," she began in a flirting tone, "You look like the cutest person in here. Do you mind if you and me spend a little time together?" she flirted, her face had a slight smile.

Azure looked up at the woman in the middle of her workout and shook her head.

"Look... I'm sorry, but you're not my type. I'm just here burning off steam."

The woman shrugged and walked off, not saying another word.

Azure found herself running out of breath quickly, as her exercise didn't last more than 15 minutes, leaving her legs wobbly, and her arms nearly limp.

After the intense workout, Azure remembered all of those training videos.

"Warmup. High Impact. Cooldown..."

She reminded herself while on her edge, moving to low impact working as she sweated and panted, easing off so her workout was better and not so harsh on her body all at once.

During her cooldown though, she couldn't help but feel bothered by the way she was passed off again.

"wouldn't have been so bad if they just said they weren't interested... but to push me off on that other girl. urgh."

Azure isn't bothered as she continues to work out.

Azure remains highly disappointed as she lingers far longer than she needed to doing cooldown exercises, even though exhaustion was kicking in, she didn't want to stop, the last few days had been so trying that finally being able to burn off everything she had like this was satisfying in a way.

She passively looked over some of the other girls, checking if any of the cuter ones seemed even remotely interested in her and wondering what kind of a dress code the gym had that she was being flirted with like this.

(what else does the Gym have? Azure's trying to burn out entirely for the night, first time had a chance to do that in what she considers relative safety since the whole thing started.)
