David was aiming with his sniper over the roof. He didn't look at Emily, he just gestured with his hand in a greeting,

The guard woman looked at Lin, "Only person I saw with purple hair was walkin' around the lobby, don't know where she went from there."

"You sure she didn't leave right?" Lin continued to asked the guard woman, "She didn't leave today OR yesterday right?" Lin's voice was calm and she spoke her words cleary, but her eyes looked very watery as if she's about to cry.

The woman shook her head, "I saw her today, but I think she was wondering a bit..."

Lin calmed down.

'Shes OK, I just couldn't find her, no need to get so worked up.' She tried to tell herself.

"Thank you for your trouble." Lin told the woman, smiling.

Emily went over and sat by David. She decided to just forget about the impression she most likely left on David the first time she met him. He didn't seem to be the type to care anyway. She asked him-

"Hey David I was wondering about supplies for this place... The first thing I could think of was that mall you were in... if there's nothing in there I'm wondering if you know of somewhere else we could find shit."

"A large group of weirdo women came by and stole everything I had stocked, mind some food. Even tried to rape me..." David shook his head, letting out a sigh, "A lot of weird shit going on..."

Emily was taken aback by what David just said. She had no idea what to do now... She wondered if she should try to comfort him. She also couldn't imagine this guy being taken by a bunch of women. Emily thought of him as very tough.

"Uh.. I'm really sorry to hear that David..."
She thought back to the mission she had with Azure. Although Azure probably hated Emily now she still wanted to help her. The newspaper was a good idea... maybe the mall had paper copiers or something.

"Do you think that mall might still have paper and stuff to copy them with?"

Still looking over the horizon for a target, David responds,

"I wouldn't go back there. There's something... Over there... I have no idea what. But I think it was trying to catch me off guard several times when I was over there. Every time I looked, the bastard was gone." David was silent for a short time, "But, I know whatever it is hasn't left. Some women told me they saw the same thing when they passed by the mall, something hiding, then gone when you look..."

Emily wasn't really scared of this thing... but seeing David unsettled about it made her wonder if she should be. She decided to follow David's instructions. Only because she's seen first hand what he's capable of.

"Thanks for telling me about that David... I think if was anyone else but you I would probably just go charging in at it... So you think there's anywhere else to get supplies... or are these women hoarding it all?"

David seemed to blush a little when Emily made that comment, but it quickly faded as he answered her,

"I know they're probably not our friends, because they're taking way more than they need, and they don't hesitate to make their presence known. Almost as if they're trying to lure us..."

Seeing how this place needed supplies Emily pondered hunting these women down. Then again after what happened to her yesterday she thinks it's a miracle she didn't get captured... She would need people to help her. She wondered if she could ask Iris, and She also wondered where she was. She said-

"Well after yesterday I'm not going out there alone.... I think it's amazing I made it back here... I wonder if I could get Iris to help try to hunt down these women."

She said the last part absentmindedly. She noticed she had overslept by the light in the sky. It made her wonder why Iris hadn't come to wake her up.

Emily got up from where she was sitting. She thought David had been really helpful. Although he did make her curious about what was wondering around the mall. Still she would take his advice and never go back, though. She smiled at David not really sure if he could see her and said

"Thanks David, you've helped a lot. I have to go try to find my friend now."

Saying that she walked away and began her search for Iris.

Claire didn't roll out of bed first thing in the morning, not with Caitlyn to snuggle up to after another night spent romping. The redhead hadn't drunk much of Caitlyn and River's reserves of liquor, so she was feeling well enough to get going today. Overnight she'd been having some disjointed dreams that left her with a hunch this morning.

While Caitlyn slept, Claire untangled herself from the blonde's grip, then settled herself sitting upright against the headboard of the bed. Wiping the sleep out of her eyes and then relaxing so that her breathing matched the sleeping woman's, Claire attempted to clear her mind of the coming day save for one thing -- Where could she find supplies that the hotel needed?

((spend 5 points of essence for a vision of where the nearest/best places to loot today are -- specifically, clothing and food... though Claire's a touch distracted by Caitlyn and sex. X33))

(Visions allow you to connect with other forms of Essence to see what you desire. Weapons and clothing have no essence, but the most Claire would see is a large number of scantly clad women, hoarding a lot of goods...)

(I thought that might be a possibility. She doesn't know that they're hostile and wouldn't glean that from a vision, right? Well, we can always search the good old fashioned way while the others try to steal from the scantily-clad women. >:3)

After a few minutes of breathing and concentrating, Claire found that she wasn't able to focus on much of anything at all. A little disappointed, the redhead never the less shrugged her failure off -- she hadn't quite been expecting it to work, after all!

She then went about her morning routine, doing her best not to wake Caitlyn in the process. When that was done, if Caitlyn was awake, Claire returned from the washroom with a stalwart expression firmly in place.

"I think it's time to go out gathering again," she told the blonde, masking her nerves with solid resolve.

If Caitlyn was still asleep, Claire would make her way down the stairs in order to seek out missions for the day.

"We still need some more supplies," Caitlyn nodded, climbing slowly out of bed and dressing. "Oh. . . that reminds me, I still need to turn in some of the things we found yesterday to Jesse." She glances over at her backpack with a quiet smile, "It wasn't all just alcohol."

She takes a few minutes to stretch, asking Claire, "So. . . I noticed you meditating a little bit after you woke up. Does that help to center you a little?" She didn't want to get too direct about Claire's stress level, just happy to hear that the redhead was willing to venture out of the inn today.

Claire fiddled with her hair as she waited for Caitlyn to get dressed, thinking about what she was comfortable with admitting. So far, Caitlyn had been nothing but supportive, but Claire felt a little like she might have had a crazy moment, with her vision of the girl in white and Shiva yesterday evening. An overstimulated imagination, maybe...

"Yeah, you could say that..." As Caitlyn came to the door, Claire added, "last night I tried it out, to do the centering thing and..." she frowned, hating the way it sounded when it came out of her mouth. "I saw something. Shiva, the white haired woman. An explosion... I thought maybe if I tried again this morning, it would work again." She shrugged, moving out into the hall with Caitlyn when the blonde was done gathering her supplies. "I'm starting to think maybe I just was asleep on my feet and dreaming or something." She'd grabbed her bag, which was currently empty, and hoisted it over her shoulder.

Turning her attention on the supplies that Caitlyn'd gathered, she asked, "so what all'd you manage to find? Any ideas for places to look today?"

"I wouldn't really know," says Caitlyn, after listening attentively to Claire's description, "I've never really put much stock in stories of premonitions or second sight. But look at just what we've already seen." She gives a small shrug, "There are more things in heaven and earth, Horatio, than are dreamt of in your philosophy. If you think that it might have had some kind of meaning, I wouldn't rule it out."

She sighs, "We didn't find that much. A couple of medical kits, some extra ammunition and a short sword. I think River found a spare knife, too." She reloads her pistol, "I should probably see if I can get another magazine for this thing in trade for the .38 ammo. I did use a few bullets while we were out."

Following Claire out into the hallway, she considered her options. "We went looking at a couple of the local gun shops, but they were pretty well cleaned out. The other stores were a little better; the drugstore had enough supplies for the first aid kits and obviously the liquor store paid off. I was going to take a look down at Jesse's and see if there was anything we were critically low on before I tried to decide."

She looks at Claire, "What about you? Any ideas on a good destination?"
