Re: Member Announcements Thread

I mean, in my defence, the fisting I mentioned earlier is not your typical porn situation. It's a magical girl being held by a twenty meter tall monster woman, and the monster woman starts pleasuring the girl, and for the twenty meter woman to able to feel anything she uses the magical girls fist on herself.
Yup, that definitely isn't your typical porn situation...

...

...I'm not sure how well it works as a defence though, really.

But if you throw me a female friend, or a pretty enough male friend, I can help them see the better side of things.

Awww, our trusty little horn dog, always so eager to please:p

So cute.

And now that you mention it, that defence is a bit like putting out a fire with gasoline...

Indeed they do.

But I'm with Chibi on this one, distortion and overly large penetrating parts that burst through into the womb and such just are not a turn-on to me at all. All I can think about is how much that would bloody well hurt.

You'd be surprised what you're friends might like. One time we all decided to try out chat roulette, we found a guy in a bear costume with his hands down his pants, one girl got really upset when we changed it quickly, wanting us to go back to it somehow. And yes, she knew what he was doing...

On second thought... it might have been a woman in the costume... we couldn't see what was down the bear's pants

Re: Member Announcements Thread

Your friends are ditzes.

Had that been in the everything else thread where we talk about our preferences or dirty little secrets and shit, it'd make sense. But when you're describing what's in games you didn't make, they clearly have nothing to hold against you. "Oh wow, that stuff exists and you know about it. Clearly what you have been introduced to, sometimes not even by your own willingness allows me to form an opinion of who you are." Your friends are close-minded, presumptuous, judgmental, and everything you need to further racism, sexism, prejudice, and oppression. They should grow up and learn how people work.

But like inci said, if you could throw us some of them..

Re: Member Announcements Thread

Might I suggest that they don't know how the forum works, and did not know he was describing games? And even then, sometimes I creepy myself out with some of the stuff that turns me on, I don't think we should really get all that upset at them, it isn't like they did just up and abandon him, they're open to talking.

This.

They haven't done anything besides being freaked out yet. I just don't want to loose them, and so I brought it up. And I gotta admit that I find it pretty reasonable that they'd be freaked out, I mean c'mon, even I think some of the stuff I watch is nutballs insane...

Re: Member Announcements Thread

What is NaNoWriMo?

National Novel Writing Month is a fun, seat-of-your-pants approach to novel writing. Participants begin writing November 1. The goal is to write a 175-page (50,000-word) novel by midnight, November 30.

Valuing enthusiasm and perseverance over painstaking craft, NaNoWriMo is a novel-writing program for everyone who has thought fleetingly about writing a novel but has been scared away by the time and effort involved.

Because of the limited writing window, the ONLY thing that matters in NaNoWriMo is output. It's all about quantity, not quality. The kamikaze approach forces you to lower your expectations, take risks, and write on the fly.

Make no mistake: You will be writing a lot of crap. And that's a good thing. By forcing yourself to write so intensely, you are giving yourself permission to make mistakes. To forgo the endless tweaking and editing and just create. To build without tearing down.

As you spend November writing, you can draw comfort from the fact that, all around the world, other National Novel Writing Month participants are going through the same joys and sorrows of producing the Great Frantic Novel. Wrimos meet throughout the month to offer encouragement, commiseration, and—when the thing is done—the kind of raucous celebrations that tend to frighten animals and small children.

In 2009, we had over 165,000 participants. More than 30,000 of them crossed the 50K finish line by the midnight deadline, entering into the annals of NaNoWriMo superstardom forever. They started the month as auto mechanics, out-of-work actors, and middle school English teachers. They walked away novelists.
From the website. It's really only a little less that 1700 words a day. I think i can do it, but jeebas if this isn't going to be fun, even if i don't make to 50k!

Wheee! Time to show my inner editor that it's a jerk and it's okay to write something amazingly flawed as long as it gets that idea down in print.
