I'm gonna go ahead and share my frustrations with all of you, if you don't mind. The problem is, I can be communicative, and I've noticed the people in this section will listen, but only as long as what I said is on the recent most page. After that, my words are short-lived. So I don't mean to suggest you people are blind to what I say, but it will be forgotten upon the waves of masses flocking to this section.

First of all, this thread is a hassle to maintain. Every day, I come back to the hentai section to view every last post, and the new threads take up the entire first section. This thread, on the other hand, gets 3-4 pages in just a day, almost on average. And because of the nature of the thread, it's very disconnected, and it's hard to keep on top of what is connected to what. I really don't like pruning this thread, especially considering it's not even along my tastes in this section.

On top of that, this thread should never have existed. At first, it seemed like the RPGmaker games were a small market. On top of that, we didn't even have tags for such games. So, every new RPG game went into here. Then it grew beyond critical mass. This seemed to breed confusion, as games that had RPG elements but weren't RPGmaker specifically were posted, then people started using this thread to request things, despite us having a hentai finder thread. After that, people just started posting whatever they wanted. And it was damn near impossible for me to check if they were truly RPGmaker games that belonged. Apparently, it's now even grown to be the community hub, where people come by and say happy new year to each other. Ya know, despite the fact this is the hentai section, and we already have a community hub, that you people are actively separating yourselves from.

At this point, we have RPGmaker tags. And every time I see a new thread with that tag, I have to search every post in this thread containing it's English name, Japanese name, and DL number, and then look at every few pages after every single post I find, to see if any posts are connected to it. And then I take all those posts and merge them into the new thread, separating every piece of the game into one thread, it's own thread, like it should be. If posts address multiple games, I have to edit and chop up those posts. Now this is far out of the way to make sure any information that has already been posted can be found, but even I can miss things, and if I do strip this thread entirely, I'm betting there will still be many leftover posts without a home, or a way to figure out where they go.

Besides that, one of the problems with this method is people not being specific when they make new threads. So the new focal point of the game starts off on a shoddy post with low information. Another problem is that even though there will be a new thread, people in this thread won't search for the new thread and will post new relevant information into this thread, AFTER I've moved everything, negating the point of me moving it all.

This method has proven to be too slow as this thread continues to grow, not to mention the fact new games are still being posted to this thread every day. I would want to find a way to inform you all, but as I said before, it's going to be forgotten at some point. And just locking this thread, which honestly is the most practical solution, is going to cause a bit of uproar in all of you, because it will still take time before every game has it's own independent and informative thread, and because it'll be taking away your proverbial hentai water cooler.

I want you all to know that I am thinking mainly towards the end goal, and am trying not to annoy people at the same time. But in the end, I will end up annoying people because this thread will be deleted. And on that day, my smile will be at it's widest. And if you all really cared about getting your RPGmaker games, you'd be happy too. I can only hope you all see that.

So...basically you just want people to make individual threads for each individual game that gets posted? Then to talk about nothing in those threads except for the game that the thread entails? And then to take all other talk and put them into their respective sections?

To be serious though, that sounds easy enough. We do tend to get a slew of people asking questions about different H-games all at the same time. They throw DLsite numbers and I always have to look to see what game they're talking about. And some chit-chat and bickering does tend to seep through every now and then.

If you do decide to nerf this thread though, you might need to make some adjustments. If each game will have it's own thread, then the Game Section is going to EXPLODE with pages. I see that we have a Game List Thread stickied that's been abandoned, I imagine we can revitalize it and put it to use. We could also probably use a thread dedicated to upcoming releases. We COULD add all that discussion to a thread dedicated to whatever games that might be, but for some reason I don't like doing that. But, I'm sure that can be worked around.

If you guys need any help with this transition (if it's actually going to happen), let me know. I'm planning on trying to revitalize the game section on HentaiPalm too.

This has become a dumping thread for virtually every Hrpg game which is released, the best ones are usually sorted into their own new thread, where people begin specific discussion.

Without this massive thread, a new thread might be created for each individual game or project, which might result in an even bigger clusterfuck.

There are games in this thread with links dating back months or even years, if this thread was deleted, there would be no way to find the link again.

If you want to find a link to an old game in this thread, all you have to do is search for the game ID on google and chances are, google will direct you to the exact page where the game is at least being discussed, and likely a link posted, it is in that way that this thread is still highly relevant.

I'd rather be going through hundreds of threads about one subject then going through one thread with hundreds of subjects. That's just me.

There could be a sub-forum dedicated to Rpg Maker games. That way the main Hentai Games forum won't be spammed with every Rpg Maker game that comes out and people looking for specific Rpg Maker games can have an easier time finding them. This thread could then be made into a sticky and be used to discuss games that aren't out yet, games that people are having trouble finding, and games that were just released but haven't been posted yet.
I honestly don't know how easy it is to make new sub-forums but this might be a nicer more organized solution since 5-10 Rpg Maker games seem to come out every week.

I would have to agree that this thread can get problematic with new releases and download links being scatter in all over the place. In addition, with the search function, it can be hard to find a specific content in this thread
Every now and than people would post information on specific games and walkthrough that would easily get lost but also that this thread would get off topic with other topic that wouldn't belong in this thread.
I would have to with foamy111 and with everybody else, that if there is a subthread specifically for RPG maker, it could make it easier to organize every game that has an active download link in that subthread but also make it less clutter in the main thread for the games.
I wouldn't mind making threads in a new subthread because it'll make it easier and it would make content more visibly accessible to other users. Although, other information posts and walkthrough would have to be repost on a new thread for each game.

I would rather have a subforum dedicated to RPGMaker games so people can browse each game individually. We have users here that have mediafire links/torrent links so those devout RPGMaker downloaders, and by devout I mean they download EVERYTHING, can follow and seed those.

In addition, the biggest advantage is that the good RPGmaker threads will be addictive, while the shitty ass RPGmaker games will be drowned out down into the oblivion.

It'll be a great thing for the mod as well since they can strike down any link with the loli tag in the dlsite.

Granted, this thread is equivalent to the GoR thread, which is really just a RPGmaker thread in disguise, at Hongfire, but Hongfire died down ever since they prohibited torrent links/DDLs from their site.

Toxic, I can understand your frustration of trying to moderate a clusterfuck of a thread such as this. Just make sure RPGmakers get their own subforum. 5-10 RPGmaker games come out every month and probably at most 5 every year are worth talking about.

This thread honestly reminds me of the ones in Hongfire albeit on a much smaller scale (think it was the Game Over Rape threads).

I do understand that it must me a hassle to sift through all these random bits of info and try to categorize them. People would get used to it if this thread clsoed down but as you say, there will be an uproar for a bit.

Actually, that GOR thread is bigger, the Mod just decided to cut the thread into a new one after about 1000 page of default listing (or maybe it as 500 page, either way, huge)
Of course after hongfire got hit with the DMCA there's less sharing over there so the activity speed has gone down to mainly the free games.

The problem with each game getting new thread is that the first one to post is most likely not going to have any info besides the DLSite link. Then if nobody ever upload that game that thread will just die right then. Or if the first person made a mistake with the naming (I'm looking at you, Haru-uru Baishun thread...the game name is just Haru-uru which is the reading of what happen if you reverse the kanji order in Baishun(prostitution))

Well, there is also that problem. If the plan is too include every single game listed in this thread, it will cause a lot of clutter on the Hentai games page.

Rather than RPGMaker H games, this thread seems more like a compilation of DLSite games lol

Well if people format it to something like "[RJ019293] Help! My Little Sister Can't Be This Adventurous! She Is Being Assaulted By Slimes?! Stop! Damashii Legend!!!" then post the dlsite link, people wont be confused.

Besides, there have been some pre-release RPGmaker threads like Arms Devicer that were posted which then had links posted on there once released. Just browse the thread for the RJ youre looking for.

other than those releases, guess I could say that there isn't any worth buying from the last day of the year beside the KOF game (which I brought, just grab it in that folder if you know which folder i'm talking about, which apparent it just animation *desk slam*).
all I can say it that there were a good couple of game that got released but 2013 could be more or less be a good year for an another round of new hrpg

maybe im talking shit but what if there was a thread where every game is re-postes right after someone posted it in this one(RPG Maker Games)?
i mean in this new one lets call it "RPG Links" for now, the posts could only be something like:

I was waiting for the day to come when one of the mods would share his frustration and show us the messy situation this thread has gotten into, and I have to say, I do really understand the problem here and how hard it is and will probably get harder, thus the best solution as you said would be to delete this thread and place the RPG Maker games for its each thread.

This is why, everytime I'm able to buy a new game that comes out, I created a new thread with little detailed information regarding that game and I'm pretty much sure I've shared this suggestion with ppl on this thread that they should do the same, because later on we'd be reading a post like yours.

This thread has more or less just become a general convo thread with the occasional game. But is that really so bad? most of us have a very ephemeral interest in the games and dont finish 90% of them.
I think we do need a general discussion thread to at least keep the ball rolling in the droughts.

This thread has more or less just become a general convo thread with the occasional game. But is that really so bad? most of us have a very ephemeral interest in the games and dont finish 90% of them.

Well, yes it is bad, this thread is reaching the critical mass regarding the search of information prior to the games in question. There are 2 points of view you should watch carefully here.

The point of view of an user:
An user whether it's a new or regular one, comes here, checks on a new game that came out and was shared here. Later on, on that game, he has some questions regarding it, he comes here to check on any info that ppl might have already shared, scrolls around a few pages, doesn't find anything, posts his question, by the time he has done this, ppl are already going on about a new game... and he didn't find the info, probably because there's lots of users talking about several different games, bits of walkthroughs here and there regarding different games. An user starts to get lost in the midst of all of it. Trust me, this happened to be a few times in the past, with time I got used to it, but doesn't I should have gotten used to it.

The point of view of a mod:
A mod comes here, to salvage the thread, in order to get info organized, has the same problem as the users, but moreover, since mosts of the posts regarding the games everyone is discussing, have no RJ or RE number, the mod's is almost guessing which info regards which game...

My suggestion:
If there was a thread for each RPG Maker game (not to mentioned the rest), you'd have the little info regarding the game on the 1st post, the RJ number would be always there to help the mods and since the game has its own thread, walkthroughs could be created regarding ONLY that game!

Thus a lot of work and time would be saved, for the mods to properly take time for other matters, if everyone on the comunity did the same.

Just start, if story and other no idea
For get monster, if see girl monster, use item to hero then drop mob hp to XX% (no hp bar hard to know... ), if dont want over hit can use hero sp 1 skill

BTW if just start dont forget equip off all item from girl manster after 1st fight hehe
