Kuttner Hall holds the University’s history departments. Most of the first floor is devoted to larger lecture halls and study areas. From the central parlor, there are hallways leading to the north and south wings of the hall and stairs leading up to the second floor. It is after hours and most of the classrooms are locked up for the weekend.

For some reason, there are a few students here.
(Hannelore, Sabrina and Regina are all here) |

Hannelore shakes off the raindrops that cling to her many-pocketed denim jacket. "Bloody weather, bloody rain", she mutters to herself as she takes her glasses and rubs them dry on her grey sweatshirt. A black skirt over denim jeans and a pair of hiking boots complete the outfit. Her blonde hair is done in a braid that falls down her back.
The German looks around, her grey eyes noticing the other students. Mumbling something under her breath she walks up to the stairs, trying to look as inconspicuous as possible. (Moving to second floor?) |

A visably agitated Sabrina walks through Kuttner Hall, speaking to no one in particular.
"People just don't vanish, has to be some sort of clues around here." She surveys the immediate area for any sign of a struggle or fight. |

Regina waits for several moments as the other two proceed to occupy themselves before composing herself for what she is going to do. She didn't know if she would be in too much trouble or not if she were caught, but in the end it probably wouldn't matter too much. Outwardly she was calm, and when the opportunity presented itself, she would duck away from the room she was in, making her way elsewhere.
((Moving towards the Archaeology Room, whichever floor that is on, I'm assuming first floor since you said nothing about where it was located. Will wait for confirmation that I can go there before posting action there.))

Hannelore heads up the stairway first, going to the second floor hallway.
Sabrina seems to look around the area, but doesn't see anything out of place here. She does find a visitor's map showing an entrance to the old bomb shelter that Allison had talked about down the southern hallway on the first floor. Regina waits for a moment, watching the other two girls and, once Hannelore had disappeared into the second floor hallway, follows her a few steps behind up the stairs. |

After checking out the map, Sabrina heads down the south corridor in the direction of the bomb shelter entrance.

Sabrina moves down the southern corridor, finding the entrance to the old bomb shelter behind a metal door on the western wall. As she looks around in the corridor, she sees signs on the floor that the door has been opened recently even though there is a visible lock. The door doesn't seem to be stuck but the metal hinges look a little rusty.
Just a moment after Sabrina moves down the hallway, Alexis rushes into the main lobby, fighting off the rain and carrying her paper. She knows that Proffesor Price's office is on the second floor of the building. |

"Damn rain," Alexis mutters, shaking her arms and trying to brush off any water that hadn't already soaked into her clothes. Not wanting to waste any more time, she hurried to the stairs, and headed up to the second floor.

Alexis rushes up the stairs to the second floor hallway, oblivious to the two other students coming into the hall behind her as Quetz and Carol arrive at Kuttner hall.

Sabrina attempts to open the door to the shelter, maybe whoever has been in and out of here forgot to lock up!

With a few strong tugs, Sabrina manages to pull the door open. The metal hinges scrape and the door drags across the tile floor; possibly the foundation has settled since it was installed. There is a loud scraping noise that startles the nervous girl.
Looking into the door, she sees a long concrete stairwell leading down. There is a light switch on the wall, but for some reason the light is already turned on. Out in the main lobby, Quetz and Carol can hear the sound of the metal door being pulled open. |

Carol? I thought you said we would be fine. Quetz begins, her earlier anxiety coming back to her. Something is wrong here and it's really bad on the second floor.

"hmm this doesn't look real abandoned after all....this feels like a very bad idea..."
She looks around to see if there is something that can be used to prop open the door, (table chair or the like) Sabrina grabs the baton from her belt, holding it at the ready. "Let's see whats down here...." She begins to descend the stairs. |

Carol leads the more hesitant Quetz down the southern corridor. They both observe a large steel door that apparently leads down into some kind of bomb shelter, possibly something left over from the cold war era. The lights are on in the stairwell.

Yes, Carol. Quetz says following closely behind the other woman. She also slips a hand into her pocket to touch her stun gun if simply for the reassurance.

The pair head down the stairs slowly, Carol listening closely can hear some footsteps lower down the stairwell as they cautiously proceed into the bomb shelter.
(Yes, you can. Awareness is mostly an automatic skill so you don't need to say you use it.) |

There is someone at the bottom of the stairs. Quetz whispers pulling her stun gun out, the pitch of her voice voice her fear creeping up on her. The bad vibes of the building combined with the feelings from earlier putting her on edge. Likely, it wouldn't take much to get her screaming.

Carol stealthily peers down the stairwell, but can't seem to see who is at the bottom. Even though each of you can sense another person, you can't seem to spot who it is.
(Go ahead and move your next posts to the Bomb Shelter, since you're mostly interacting with someone there.) |

Hanners perks up as she hears some sounds coming from the southern corridor. She hesitates, torn between getting home to examine the pods and the creature and investigating. In the end she sighs and grabs the jackknife inside her pocket, heading down the southern corridor.

Alexis walks silently behind Hannelore, her body starting to shake as she notices how dark it is outside, just like it was in Professor Price's room. "I don't suppose you'd mind..." she begins, looking over at Hannelore. Or where Hannelore was a few seconds ago. She stood staring at emptiness for a second before looking around fearfully, then sees the girl walking down another corridor without her. "Wha... wait!" Alexis said, running after her, her stronger legs letting her catch up to the brainy girl with ease. "Do you mind if I stay with you for now?" she asks as she walks alongside the girl, almost clinging to her.

The pair move down the hallway and the sounds become more clear. It seems that they are coming from a stairway on one side of the hall. A heavy metal door is opened and the light is on leading down. There is definitely something happening down there.

"That doesn't sound good, maybe we should go someplace else," Alexis says, stopping for a second. "You can come to my dorm," she offers, "Donna's smart, maybe you'd like her?" As Hannelore kept moving towards the metal door, Alexis starts to shake again, then catches up to her. "Just be careful, please."
