Does the dev hire artists or something? Comparing the art of some games Newer and older the art style spike sometimes.
You can see this game compared as mansion and mansion has way better art for it

Mansion seemed to be the only one with a drastic difference in art style. I'd still like to see them focus on their art, which is pretty good, but their gameplay is always terrible. It seems like they have some cool ideas but get bored halfway through.

The background story if anyone is interested:
It was the year 197X, during the cold war, internal strife broke out in a certain country in Europe - Country K.
Being a strong communist state, the supervision on the citizens are tightly enforced to prevent any acts of rebel.
In this story, you are an agent sent to supervise a certain family.
Whether to carry out your duty dutifully, or to wield power to satisfy your desire, that is up to you.
The game is an apartment management stimulation.
As you manage the daily lives of the residents, you'll have to look out for any suspicious activities at the same time.
You can either choose to dutifully report, or use anything you find as means for blackmail.
Do note that if you are caught not doing your duty properly, you can be sentenced as a traitor/rebel.

Has anyone figured out how to play the game? Like what are the suspicious activities we have to keep an eye out for?
I figured out that the exclamation mark button is the blackmail option and with the magnifying glass button you snoop around the rooms of your peeps to find items. The phone button is used to report suspicious people, if you find a gun in a clients room you can call and get 50P, whatever that's for. The bottle is also a big no-no is this country apparently.
But what about the other items? Are there any other items that are suspicious?
Okay it seems that as time passes more items become banned, the icon below the list on left will show you the items that are currently illegal, lookout for those and whenever a message appear on the middle of the screen check the banned items because a new one was probably added.
PS: Don't try to blackmail someone with a gun, they'll just kill you. Good advice for life, really.
PSS: At day 10 you get a military guy that, I guess, comes around to see if there's anyone suspicious, if there is he kills you, if there isn't he leaves. Another guess is that he'll probably check periodically so make sure everyone you house is clean.
Aaand I die at day 14 for god knows what reason, maybe I tripped down the stairs. Apparently the list like button on the left has certain objectives or missions for you to do.I think that's why I died, I needed to, I guess, bribe the guards with some sweet puss.

First thing is if you commit too much crime(blackmailing people into making porn and stuff), you are locked into a bad ending even if you survive the main storyline. Having only 3 save slots sucks too. I have to restart a new game to get away from the bad end.
Brunette's husband started serving the military before wedding night. Due to family related to military she is secretly protected by the government so you can't blackmail her. However framing her still gets her caught.(rape cg) After he husband dies she gets taken to a special facility. I'm guessing in a good ending you can see her again but not sure.
Blonde is a scientist. She is smart enough to not get framed/blackmailed. However later on books become banned and she needs her book for research, which enables framing/blackmailing. Later her country gets banned by Trump and she gets deported or sth, not sure what can I do about it, thanks Trump.
3rd chick is a secret agent of the rebels trying to overthrow the government or sth. Blackmailing results in her stabbing you. Framing gets her caught and changes the ending. Later on she asks for a pistol and have sex with you before taking down the government.
This game is exactly the same as Beholder...

Bottom 3 CGs are happy endings. You have to finish their requests and never(?) frame/blackmail anyone. Radio, Passport and Pistol are required respectively.
