demo + unlock system
1.
2. install the script in your project that will be both your demo and your full game, the script works in both ace and vx, not sure about earlier games
3. choose a switch to be your unlock switch, events check this switch to allow you through certain doors etc...(i used it to create doors that open and send you to another part of the game when switch is on, and have a sign that says end of demo if off)...be sure to put [p] in the switch name
oh and be sure the priority is higher for the switch on event (higher number tab wise)
4. create an event that switches this switch on and export your project, run the game, and set off this switch on event(i don't think you need to save your game), then copy the persistent data file from the root folder to somewhere safe, then remove traces of it, delete the file form root and erase the event that switches the unlock switch on from the project, re export the project... you now have a demo file that becomes the full game when the persistent data.rvdata2 (or whatever its called) is present in root folder
5. upload the persistent data file/unlock file to a free hosting site
create your buy now button using paypal, and set the checkout to redirect to downloading of the small few kb file
general tips- avoid japanese or obviously porn sounding names (i think that is why kajio's account was marked as suspicious)
i generally go for Initials of the product with full version on the end of the title
the downside of this system is anyone who buys your game can pirate it just by sending out the rvdata to other people
the script can also be used to unlock things in a gallery mode by giving adifferent switch with [p] in the name for each hentai scene and an apporpriate event to call it if the switch is on (persistent data carries accross all saves/new games)
