So I tried restoring the host file and closed the browser, where redirection still failed. By force reload, do you mean CTRL + F5? If it is, then unfortunately that doesn't work as well.

I had to switch over to Chrome which worked after trying your steps

If you post here what program it was (the name between the []), then we can probably tell you what it belongs to and how you can turn it off.

Yes that's port 80.. Can you tell me the name of the program that holds it? It's underneath it in the square brackets.

This gives me the same result as I get if I just run them without the server: the main .swf is just a grey screen and the preloaders appear, but don't load past 0%.

Everytime I have a problem its because I never use run as administer. Thank you, I did exactly that and figured out the problem on my own and it works beautifully.

Redirection seems to be failing. Are you sure you did all the steps? So when you ping, it pings 127.0.0.1?

I'm guessing these use a newer protected software, that why it wasn't in the download link you provided.

Just want to say thanks for all the hard work with mnfserver13, murray and whoever else works/worked on it.

port 80 error people: Close programs that use ports like utorrent, logmein, skype, teamviewer, etc. It'll work if you do that. I hardly believe doing all this complicated bs is the issue here.

The host file is located in "C:\WINDOWS\System32\drivers\etc\host"

when i type in the command prompt it tells me that its
pinging meetandfuckgames.com 174.142.104.83

After that, i run mnfserver 13 with administrator priveleges and it gives me the same error. I followed the troubleshooting tips but it gives me the same error.

Also, i didnt use quotes in the host file. Any other tips would be great, thank you.

Looks like you didn't alter the hosts file correctly, go back and fix it until pinging www.meetandfuckgames.com goes to 127.0.0.1.

Find your hosts file. Remove the line that redirects your browser.

Do just open it with notepad, scroll all the way to the bottom and place it there. Because thats what i have been doing.
