I decided to give up on this and just deleted it but meetandfuck games and even the website wont load. Say if im on funny-games and try and play one of the demos i just get a white box but everything else works fine. Any ideas would be great thanks.

Huh. Um.... I don't even remember the building process for this computer now, I built it less than a year ago and I don't know how in the hell I managed to avoid never running anything as an administrator yet, and I don't know the password to do so.

When I use the server, Meetandfuckgames.com does not even let me get to it's page. What I did was press escape on the black window after playing the games I wanted to play. After a restart, I was able to see MnF ads and go back on their site.

The server changes your hosts file telling your computer that www.meetandfuckgames.com is actually itself, so that when you try to access it (or the flashes try to) you're going to the server you just ran instead...
If you close it without letting it remove the redirection from the hosts, your computer will still try to access www.meetandfuckgames.com on itself (127.0.0.1), but since there's no server it'll just not find anything.

Just edit your hosts file and remove the redirection (hosts file should be in C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc, the redirection should be the last line)

After i run as admin and the box comes up sometimes i get another white box saying it stoped working. Sometimes it works fine but no browser will come up and if i open my own and go to the website it tells me then it just loads forever. Im on vista home. If anyone can tell me whats wrong that would be cool.

I found where you mean but i can't find the redirection all i have in the folder is four files which are; hosts, networks, protocol and services there was another file that wasn't one i recognised so i deleted it but i still cant load anything to do with mnf any suggestions? i appreciate the help btw

@ jackpot. Sometimes you need to go to the right hand corner where it says text documents and change that to all files. It should be there then.

Also im still having the same problem with everything working fine untill i wait for half an hour and no browser shows up and when i open one nothing loads when i go to the website it tells me.

I still cant find it. Theres nowhere that says text documents im on vista if it makes a difference. There was a file called lmhosts.sam but iv tried deleting that and i still couldnt load anything from mnf. What do you reckon i should do now?

Your best bet to find your host files is to download a program called hostxperts idk where you can download just google it. that will show you all your host files and fix them

That was unhelpful, and is probably more than enough to instigate a stupid argument. I don't know whether to approve or not, but for now I'll just let my comment slide over like melty cheese over toast. (Also, negative points for poor delivery of a meme. I know you can do better than THAT.)

In a more related comment, I went to the little forum thing they have going and asked about the next server version and how to achieve updates. The admin said that the new server is going to come out within the next two weeks or something, and that it depends on the guys working in the Yahoo group.

I had this problem when I was trying to use a previous version while I didn't have an internet connection. What the program does is make IE think that it is the MNF site, but it needs to be able to communicate with your router to do so. Could be your problem, might not though.

As for the poor meme delivery, I'd like to apologize for that. I was simply looking for a little more colorfull way to say "I hate macs, and their users"
