The direction is CloudK above who has yet to share it. Given that it's been over a week, I have my doubts that they're going to, but hopefully I'll be proven wrong.

ye I read the previous posts more carefuly that leads me to ask: what is the point of saying you cracked a game if you have no intention to share it? sounds like either its BS or good old fashion e-peen attention seeking.

pro tip: if you want people to look up to you, rubbing people's face on something you managed to do but then deny them access to, isnt the way to go;
its like being invited to a birthday party and say you have an awesome present that you decided to keep for yourself.

I doubt he will, it takes a special kind of personality to show that he cracked it, go through the effort of showing proof that he cracked it, then not sharing how.

Isn't DRM the system steam uses though?
And it is very easily cracked as we know.
I think they just remove the DRM on local files.
Or is this like Netflix's "DRM" for example? where everything on there is on the server-side

Local files are encrypted.

You log in with your DLsite account, [stuff happens], data gets decrypted and can be read by the game.

Presumably, someone just needs to figure out how the decryption works, and have a working account to get the key required. Then either share the decryption tool, or the decrypted files themselves.

Can't say whether it's the "same system that steam uses" but it's probably similar in approach.
If someone puts up a bounty for it I'm sure it'll be done.

Has anyone played this on Windows 10? I remember playing 3 in the past when it came out, but now neither 4 nor 3 will run. I can open the login authentication tool, update and then login but afterwards just get errors. I've sent an email to dlsite but no response yet :S

Same thing. I already mentioned this on the Skunk3 thread a few months ago, but no solutions came out of it.

Also, they updated the DLSite page for Skunk4 with:
"Confirm system compatibility via the trial version. (Especially on Windows 10)"

So I assume more people are having trouble with this.

I posted about it as well in the 3 thread. Last I played this was on a Windows 8.1 laptop, but regardless of using a different compatibility mode or even copying the exact files from that machine it doesn't work. I recall I did something with the settings in order to get it to launch at all, but then it would just crash again at the point where a cutscene would start.

Cheers for the responses guys, guess I'll have to harass them for a refund... Or set up a spare Win7 VirtualMachine which seems a bit over-the-top for porn

If only that worked. The DRM won't let you run in a virtual environment, presumably as a defence against cracking.

Wait what? this doesn't work on w10?
My first attempt which obviously everyone has tried is viewing hidden files and
So the exe file is hidden you open it and you see an error window which says something about project director script error, but you can see the menu and enter options
Everyone got to this point right?

I did that to find clues, and i think The trick i think is the program script evaluating a registry that is made when you login succesfully then it lets you play everything else. Of course, i could be mistaken

Anyways, the whole point of my post is... that error is because of the obviously no-Login , or is it the error windows 10 users get!?!

I had it working fine in Parallels, but couldn't get it to run in VirtualBox. Both were running XP.
