Even though I am not part of the Steamy team, I find the information on derivative works quite interesting. I've avoided taking that model in my own game, although I must confess, putting certain Disney characters into erotic situations is quite appealing

If you'd read the past few posts, you'd know that Steamy is simply a project codename. It is extremely doubtful it will remain as such when the project moves forward. As a codename, I think it is decent, since it invokes "Steam" for adult products.
As I've said on the Steamy forums, love this project and am wishing for the best! The pervert in me wants to see a more diverse English H market!

If you want to make a compromise you can alter their look while retaining the name, background story, etc and I think you will be fine since they're all mostly already fall under public domain (except for the original disney character off course).I've avoided taking that model in my own game, although I must confess, putting certain Disney characters into erotic situations is quite appealing

Yeah, it seems to be up for me too now, must have been temporary issues due to the change(s). Had to re-upload my profile pic though, looks like those got wiped (not a big deal to me).

debit card number probably but I don't think there will be recurring fees. The concept is more like Steam, you only pay when you buy stuff

As of right now, there is no payment, recurring or otherwise, on our end.
The product is still in very early construction, and this is just the first step forwards, and it happens to be basic patreon integration.
Currently, (and keep in mind that most things are subject to change) the platform for distribution is implement games at their owner's discretion. Using product key generations, the owner of the game can choose how to distribute these.
As of right now, there is no payment, recurring or otherwise, on our end.
