The only place you could have gotten it would be Futanari Palace, which is where I started posting it.Yes, I began the project in May of last year. I am still working on some things. Again, I do not have an ETA on the next release.

It is not a straight up Lovecraft story, although I do plan on one sometime once this project is done. It is primarily an original story taking place within the cosmology of Silent Hill.

Well, then probably I found it somewhere else where someone had it linked. Because I don't remember entering FP. Especially since it requires a login to see anything.

Did this have another name at some point? With the word "project" in it?

The filename is 'project3", but that is all. I am unaware of anyone linking this on other sites without my knowledge.

Haven't played a good silent hill game in years. Actually went through and beat 2 recently. Back then I was so young and couldn't figure a lot of things out.

I am DEF going to try this.

I have returned to development after a brief hiatus. During that time, I have obtained a new job that will limit my time for development, somewhat. The next release will primarily be a bug fix release with some new content, rather than a major update.

I have not heard back from the artist I spoke with in October for a while and I can only assume that he has other priorities at the moment, so I do not foresee adding any artwork for the time being.

I am also wanting some input as to the story and game's pacing. Some folks may be put off by the fact that the H-content doesn't really kick in for the first hour-and-a-half of gameplay. I would like some feedback about this.

I hope to have the next bug fix release up within the next couple of weeks.

I have come to a rather difficult decision. I have chosen to suspend development for this project indefinitely. While I am pleased with the story I had intended upon presenting, the product I have created has never met any of my expectations. Likewise, I have encountered numerous difficulties during the Alpha Build process that I was unable to overcome. On top of that, the project evolved to the point that I required an artist, which was something I actively tried to avoid. Given this and the added burden of problems in my life beyond this project, I had to make choices that would benefit me in the long run. Giving this project the ax was one of those choices. I would still like to complete this game, but until I can get past some of the development hurtles I have dealt with, it will not happen.

I am grateful to the very small group of people who tried this game. Every little bit of support matters, especially to the lone developer. I will leave the link for the last build up for a while, just to see if there is sufficient interest, over time, remains to try and get past the stumbling blocks that have caught up with me. Who knows...maybe something can occur between now or later that may bring me back to this project.

Don't give up simply because you can't get an artists. Adult forums have their own community - just try to ask for help here. If you'll get someone interested, they can draw something in a comfy pace for both of you.

It is more than just not having an artist. There are a lot of technical issues I cannot get around. The only alternative would be to start over with a text-only engine and all of the ones I have worked with are a pain in the ass to use. It is easier to shelf the project rather than start over with an engine that I am either unfamiliar with or one I know is inadequate. Another reason I am avoiding text-only is because I have been fighting writer's burnout off and on for several months.

A final reason I am shelving this is that, in the past 10 months I have worked on this, I have not generated sufficient interest across three forums to really push past my current challenges. 260+ manhours on a project for only a handful of responses is not encouraging...and most of those responses have been about the morgue puzzle.

Unless there is some drastic change, this will be shelved indefinitely. The story I have is great. I am happy with it. However, making the game has been one snag after another.

Well you could always try putting it in the hentai games section. I'm not even sure why this game is under construction considering it has atleast an hour of content.

Afaik this is the biggest site that currently exists for H-games, but you've put the game in the section that almost nobody visits. Heck most people come across the "under construction" section purely by chance.

I placed it "Under Construction" because...it was under construction. The final product would have been about 6-10 hours of content. All I had was an alpha build.

You could always ask a mod to move it there. I mean, many if not most of the games (atleast native english ones) aren't complete nor are anywhere near close to being called "a final product". Heck an alpha product is enough to put it there, as long as it's playable.

Seriously, I'm not going to stand by and watch every thread to see if your progress is enough to warrant moving. Just submit some proof of concept to a mod, and we'll move it over to the H-Games section.

I wish I had discovered this back in September!

While I do enjoy my mindless, skip-all-the-moonspeak H-games, I never seem to play enough H-games with substance to the meaning of it. I also don't play enough Silent Hill type H-games either so discovering this is a win/win for me!

Looking through the posts already made, I can understand if this project is shelved due to lack of a dedicated artist or interest and if I was a better artist I'd volunteer. But trust me I suck pretty bad at 'original' art.

However, I DO have interest in this project, and I'll watch it as long as it takes to see it come to fruition!

A Silent Hill fan made game for me is an epic win. Add in porn to it? Fck yes, where's the line?
I'm a fanatic for Resident Evil ever since the very first game of the series came out and only about 6 years ago I found about the Silent Hill series and, obviously, I pretty much got hooked on it as well.
I became pretty sad when I couldn't get my hands on Downpour, because they said that porting to a pc wouldn't compensate lmao...
Anyway! You can see I'm pretty much interested on this project to get going

wow, a silent hill H game? if i'd have known about this game, i'd have tried it sooner. of course it's not gonna get much attention in the dead section of the forums XD.

i hope now that it's in a more proper place, the creator has a reason to continue.

btw, is there any H content in the demo?
