From what I hear their nearly seven year absence form the eroge industry is an indirect protest against internet piracy causing them to be not as famous as they wanted to be. Again, these are just baseless rumors floating around, no idea if it's true or not.

It's not all that bad. Most of the 10GB is audio and actually story flash. Someone's pretty likely to combine just the adult stuff eventually. While there is a lot of adult stuff, it's about as much if not less than a game made by Umemaro.
