The fire ability DOES work. But it doesn't work as well as you'd expect. Move back a bit when you use the fire magic, and make sure to charge it fully. You'll eventually find the sweet spot and be able to progress.Spent the past hour trying to beat the 3rd boss, got her fire magic, then got STUCK IN THE STAGE UNABLE TO EXIT.
The dev seems to have forgotten to remove the blocks on either side of the exit that allow you to get out.... And no, the fire magic is doing nothing to it.
ALL OF MY RAGE man, wtf.....

You could always unpack it in non-japanese locale. I didn't have VA when I did before...kinda wishing I didn't have it again. If there were a bit more variation it wouldn't be too bad...but it seems there are only maybe 2 or 3 different ones. Gets pretty irritating.

One of the more fun releases in a quite a while. Gameplay is actually good, some difficulty but not obnoxious, voice is annoying and game would have been better off without it. Thanks for the codes, didn't feel like slashing every wall in every level.
