Gotta agree with squid here. The tone of criticizing "slap a dislike and hide" is completely contrary to the idea of "Oh I'm here to get neg reps."
My question is, why would you come to a community with the intention of getting negative reputation? The point of that is trolling, I get that, but it's not a community you're turning on, so it serves no purpose, it's one you're coming into. So it's purposeless trolling, which again, is understandable, but announcing that you're there to do it completely undoes you doing it. That is what makes no sense.
It's like the weakest attempt to put us into a situation where, if you're liked, then you're liked, but if you're disliked then muhuhaha, it was your plan all along.
It's really not clever. At least if someone were to troll, making an effort to be remembered should be the point, cuz then it demonstrates just how much you pissed people off. This, on the other hand, is fleeting, temporary, and lazy. I could achieve the same effect by just replying "You're gay" to every one of your posts. It's the mildest of inconveniences to you, has no effect, and doesn't REALLY piss you off, but if you respond to me once in any capacity, it shows "I won." It achieves nothing, and if I were actually proud of that internet interaction, I'd be a loser of the worst proportions.
