After complaining about the lack of anime, you start a group dedicated to promoting more proliferate anime, and eventually out of the rapid growth some members come forward, proposing creating a new anime studio. You take a loan out and set it up, putting your artistry skills to good use, but as you wish to create quality anime it takes a while. After some months, you start to notice your group getting more and more impatient. Finally, one day your studio is mobbed, and a horde of impatient fangirls hold you down, taking turns ravishing you, until eventually your soul leaks out... :3

I wish more people gave a damn about my work... the only positive comment ive seen about myself in places like 4chan was that i'm improving, but even that was nested inside a comment saying that my games weren't worth looking at and had no soul.

I wish people would look at my threads and comment, instead of leaving me alone to have to bump my threads when i make progress.

I wish people were happy to interact with me.

And that's actually kind of the problem, I don't have too many constructive things to say so instead of being a dick... Along with that I really don't have much to tell you about your games because I'm a pirate and most of your games don't have copies floating all over the internet.

It's obvious you're TRYING, but something's just not clicking for you. Though you do seem to be able to complete projects, which is something that even devs with amazing talent seem to struggle with, perhaps a management role would be better? IDK

Your spritework isn't bad but it's... vintage, I guess is the best way to describe it, and I dunno what you can do to improve. Same with CGs, though you've gotten better at these, so I guess ask someone who's more knowledgeable how to improve and practice more?

As far as H concepts, you're actually pretty good in this department taking a theme and running with it, including multiple kinks along the way so as to appeal to a wide market. Sometimes that might not be the best way to go, but it's always a gamble anyway.

Gameplay... I have gotten the chance to play a few demos and yes even those games that were torrented. You take a simple idea and either throw RNG at it or ramp it up to a near-frustrating level, science girl for example; I barely made it through most levels and there was no way I was going to make it through the next with the remaining life (you did well implementing stage select to mitigate this).

Some people enjoy frustrating difficulty in their H-games, I don't know if they're the majority or not but I'm not one of them, challenge is fine but frustrated+dick in hand has never been a good combo for me personally.

Then if we go to RNG, well I absolutely can't stand RNG. Once again this is just me, but I've spent alot of years getting fucked by RNG, hours grinding for drops enemies that dodge the hit that will kill them etc. And again I have no idea how you could make that better.

Perhaps try designing a more complex game?

And try not putting too much stock in what 4-chan says, it's a place where anonymity reigns free and being a dick is expected. Though they are right, you are improving.

well, even the people that do like me barely comment, which leaves me with just the bad comments...

im not sure what you mean by rng... the last game i did that relied heavily on it was princess ren returns, i cant even play through it properly now cause the difficulty spike in the 2nd area was a pain like how do i beat these again?

it seems like only my non rpgmaker games are popular to pirate but even my damsel quest 3 demo was mirrored away from my patreon (thankfully i included links in the game itself)

feedback is nice even if it comes from pirates, as long as its not haha i pirated, *drops link* which has happened to me

Not that I can't interact with you, is that most of time I'm at college, playing Blade and Soul, drawing, going to the gym and talking on discord. I don't pop on discord often as I should, cause I'm a loner at times.

Now to the games, I like them cause it usually consists of my fetish. The issue is that I've been spoiled by games like Guilty Hell, cloud meadow, heroine rumble and Atleir Tia. Due to the sexual sprites being well developed and most of those on that list has voice acting. Not that your game is bad cause it isn't, but slicer hit the nail on the head. It's just vintage looking. I even play Pervy's game the last demon hunter, not cause of the porn (The narrative is very descriptive though.),mostly for the gameplay and story. (Cause it reminds me of chrono trigger.)

Try seeing other popular games and see why they are popular. You might get ideas to make an even better game.

What do you mean 'Even' pff.. but thanks, I actually like that as a compliment, because I want to make a pron game that could in theory work without the pron.

Anyway, Azure, fact is people mostly comment about bugs or issues, and.. seriously, don't go to 4chan too much, they thrive on hating even nice stuff. Just assume silence and high pagehits as a good sign.

And if you want to make money on the patreon with Hentaigames, well, either you are really good at being yourself, or you just go into the milf/furry moneymilking machine. I prefer being myself and having this as a kinky, amazing sidejob.

I sent my game off to patrons yesterday.
haven't had any bug complaints or feedback of any kind yet. usually do if something's wrong.

In the end I only make what i can sprite wise and art wise so if that's not enough i guess I'll have to pick up someone else to make the smut for me.

still, lack of response feels like a bad thing.

ah, given that no ones responded to me sending out the game, should I take that to mean the game is working and I can release it?

Maybe give it a couple days? Everyone's schedules vary, oftentimes don't get the chance to try links out for a while :/

Just from my own view, tend to not say much on patreon or dev blogs unless something isn't quite working, or if a comment or post interests me enough. Really, you don't want a whole bunch of comments, just look at what happened with YT

One last thing, btw your avatar's sprite work is pretty good!
