I have uninstalled and reinstalled the Japanese and English version of these run packages 10 times and it still won't work.

Does file Game.ini config correctly? You could try to copy one of those correspond dll in the game folder and write the name of the .dll in Game.ini. For example:

- You need to find file RGSS202J.dll in the RTP and copy it in your game folder:


- Then open the file Game.ini using notepad and edit it to look like this

I tried it but the game still doesn't work. This has become very confusing since all the RPG makers games I had were working until they stopped around two weeks ago. I thought I solved it by cutting off DEP completely ( which worked) but then it came back with the error two days later. I then tried turning it on and off (3 times) but the error wouldn't go away.

Well, I'm out of idea, maybe it's time to reinstall windows fresh and new (don't go for windows 10, I'm using it and had a heap of troubles already). According to your information, it could be one of those god know what updates which MS forced installed to your machine has caused the conflict.

I am currently running Windows 10.
Rpg Maker XP, VX and Ace still works just fine for me.

Ah, yes, RPG makers still run fine, but I'm talking about other problems. For me there're codecs, libraries, errors reporting don't show the detail information to fix.... the list go on.

I finally figured out the problem. Apparently there was a certain update that I didn't have for Windows 7, and after getting it, RPG maker has been working the whole time today. It would seem that windows update cut itself off then came back all of a sudden. :confused:

Okay, im currently playing Legend of Queen Opala, but as with most rpg maker games the screen resolution is mini on my 42 inch tv, so i tried using a script...which didn't work.
So my tech question is.
Is there a program that can change a games window size?
Like force resolution to say 1024 x 768 for the game window?

You can try using soft like this or this to stretch game window (without additional performance hit) - I'm using first one now and not counting one flaw, I'm pretty happy with it. Didn't try second app, so don't know anything about it.

Okay, yeah it changes the window size, but not the ingame graphics. They are still the same. >_<

sorry for the screw-up then... never played it and somehow assumed that it runs on RMVX(A) - if it's RMXP based, you're out of luck, I'm affraid - you would have to rewrite half of the engine from scratch to make it work in XP

Yeah, its under Rpg Maker XP. I can get a script working for VX or Ace, but XP im out of luck. Best i can do atm is use Windows Zoom or Change the resulotion. Ah well...

Guess this is a good place to ask this.....(I posted in another topic sorry)
about 4 months ago I got a brand spanking new PC and
in doing so I upgraded from Vista to windows 8.1
its a top spec PC and i'm happy with it apart from one annoying issue.

when I play RPG maker games I now get a kind of....frame skipping effect
you know sort of clunky non fluid motion.....but ONLY in fullscreen mode. WTF?
my tv does switch from 1080P to VGA mode when I do but it has always done
that even in Vista

I really don't expect anyone to have a solution/explanation but you never
know someone may have had this problem before.

well thanks in advance for any advice you may have.

Problems with Dlsite links

It seemed like this thread is the right place to ask this rather than creating a whole new thread... anyways: a few days ago I noticed Dlsite behaving strangely - whenever I try to go directly to a game on Dlsite via copy-pasting the link it always sends me to the age verification screen and after that to the Dlsite home screen. And if I try pasting the link again - same thing happens over and over again. So I can't follow any dlsite links!
Clearing cookies didn't work. And this problem persists on google chrome and internet explorer.
Did anyone have anything like this?

You are hitting the No button when you are on the age check screen for DLSite.

hey everyone ive got a huge issue that keeps foiling me and restricts my games that i can play.
my problem is wolf rpg games, they start up fine but as soon as i press a button, the game flashs black and restarts then will not respond at all but still works normal other wise as in plays opening scenes and music. once they flash they just wont respond to input and its only on wolfrpg games, its been doing it for about 6 months now.:confused:
this problem is driving me crazy!:mad:

Please help?!
