Would it be acceptable if I had her race be Crolian? If so, I could work that into her backstory. Like, originally she was actually from the world of dark gate and ended up returning or something.

The character is going to be a vagabond from a modern sort of setting who wields a sword of some kind. I was considering a gun but a sword seemed like it would fit into your world better.

I mean, I'm sure there are things like flintlock pistols but someone dropping in with a 9MM would be kind of silly right?

Over the next hour or two I'm going to try and come up with a build.

Alright so, I lost my internet. I've returned however! Yes I would still like to join. I had an idea for a character while the internet was out. It's not a normal one however, and it may not fit the theme or feel of your world for one big reason. So I'll just give you the tldr of that and tell me if it's alright or not.

tl;dr A character from another plane of existence entirely who is sent into the world Dark Gate takes place in.

Before trying to come up with a plausible explanation for how and why I'd like to know if it's acceptable or crossing the line. Thanks.

I just had to do accounting for 40-some signups with 2-3 characters per signup because the head staffer felt like it was a good idea to open up signups with no warning meaning that I was the only other staff on. D:
