Well I did realize a bit later that he may come back despite his awesome death scene etc...

It's *rumored* that the second ep of the second season is The Return of Tristepin, but it's far from official. it was tossed on some wiki some time ago, and eventually taken down.

However, the Ankama/Wakfu site is putting a lot of emphasis on his statue, if that means anything. There's a lil pixel-hunting game where you find stuff relating to the second season. It's placed in the grove where his statue is, and his eyes move to tell you were some of them are. So I'unno what's gonna happen. I'm not sure if I want him to come back or not, or just come back for a grandios epic factor then go off again

Figures the guy that I related to the most, and who was my most favouritist character in the series would be the one to die. D:

I even looked in the new intro again to make sure it wasn't one of those bullshit die then revive two episode later schemes. And it turns out French writers actually have testicles. Damnit ;_;

Ahh, then you already know. Around ep 15 Ankama put out there that one of the party members was going to die. =P Didn't say who or when, just that one of them would die before the series was over. Made a lot of people rage when they said that, and then they cried when it happened.

Haha, I finished the series I'm afraid, it's been awhile since something new and interesting hit my hard-drive, and I went through it like a clown on cocaine. Excuse the strange wording.
