I guess I hadn't understood what the director meant by ignoring them. I'd thought she meant thinking of something else whilst fighting, I guess that wasn't the case. I didn't even know that simply looking at them would be a mistake. Looks like Iris, Luna, and Emily are all finished unless Joseph can save them, which he won't because he's hurt so badly.

Raptor, would asking for a retry be asking for too much? Cause our characters are doomed at this point.I think the problem was Iris tried to think of something irrelevant, thereby making her task harder. I think Iris would've had an easier time of not falling under the succubus's spell if she'd been, say, thinking of protecting Luna. "Books"? How the hell's she supposed to fight while thinking of browsing a library?

That said, I think somebody should've refrained from attacking. If, say, Iris had held back, maybe she could be slapping Luna upside the head right now. And it's entirely possible Emily's going for the sex-duel option... RJ left it indistinct enough.

My hope for C would be that the implanted monsters coexist with the fetus for the time they're sharing the mother, but the probability is that the essence-drain of the implanted monsters kills the fetus and results in a miscarriage. I assume the act of sex would not itself have any more impact on a fetus than conventional sex would - which I believe is little to none.

They're presumably what grabbed Mina. While she's not near as good at dodging as Jenn is, she's not exactly lead-footed. They're all moving, they're more-or-less surrounding us, and Mina just flopped out and didn't respond when Melissa yelled at her. The muffled bits suggest Mina had something to do with getting out... but Melissa can't be sure.

My tactical opinion: Jen runs outside, and gets on the radio. Melissa continues to lay down cover fire while she yells at Mina to RUN! If the plants stop so much as twitching... maybe, MAYBE Melissa dashes over to Mina and tries to carry/drag her out. But right now Melissa only sees "12 pods = 12 opponents which tackled Mina", and being outnumbered by THAT much is too much to expect.

There might be more (or less) to it, but Melissa's Divine Sight is apparently still too blinded to tell her anything useful, so she has to go by what she sees. And that's "call for heavy weapons"-level stuff.

But we'll have to wait for thetwo to post Jenn's reaction (I'd guess "freaks out like Melissa", but I'm not thetwo) before getting any further.

Iris seems to be doing alright with her current fight. Luna is doing bad as is Emily. If Emily can't turn her fight around I'm hoping Iris can make the woman orgasm before the other of the bat women finish off Luna and Emily. We might stand a good chance if that happens.

I clearly remember hearing a booming voice saying "Uhh guys, I'm scared, I'm supposed to be the gm, but I can't help anything that's happening to you."
I looked up to see a partially see-through raptorjesus in the sky (kinda like how you see dead people in movies when you look at the sky. I had yelled in a brooklyn accent "That's about the funniest fucking thing I've ever seen in my life!"

I think she's on the verge of death. If Melissa flubs this second chance, Mina dies, and Melissa and Jenn end up as root-fodder. If Melissa doesn't take too long about it (which I will define as, "wins the fight"), then she can revive Mina sorta like she did way back in their apartment, when she tortured Mina thinking that would help her.

But she has to win first. No way would she be able to sit down and feed Mina essence with the plant-Goddess looking over her shoulder - she'd grab Melissa and rape her silly again.

If Melissa DOES lose... maybe Melissa and Jenn are rescuable. Maybe. Wouldn't count on it - the only team anywhere near is in dire straits right now.

Shiva, unfortunately, was just "that swordlady who worked for the Director". She didn't have time (or posts) to develop into more of a person. Mina, on the other hand, has been bouncing against Melissa and, to a lesser extent, Jenn and Melanie, both in and out of missions. She's had plenty of opportunities to work her comedic way into people's hearts.

And why did the plant monster thing take futas, who can't replenish their essence on their own?AFAIK, it was taking futas to make loyal copies, not to supply essence. It drained Mina because she insisted on assisting Melissa in fighting it. The others (and Mina before Melissa and Jenn pulled her out of the pod) were apparently being fed essence in return for their semen, which in turn was used to make white-haired clones which were subordinate to the Goddess. And wandering around raping unenslaved women like Selena, I'll bet.

So killing off this plant-monster would be a severe blow to Her, as it means She's lost a production site for Her servants.

Now tell the truth... if Jenn and Melissa had both attacked the roots the first turn or if Jenn had made her will and dodge saves the last turn, what would have happened? Not necessarily... consider the following:
The Goddess's tentacles lashed out, her voice increasingly desperate, but the trio ducked and dodged, successfully avoiding the attack. And then they darted in as one.

Melissa's bullet snapped in, severing a root.

Mina's kick mashed another to paste.

And Jenn's stab landed home in the exposed taproot...

The Goddess let out a scream, as her stolen essence boiled up out of the wound, no longer contained by monstrous plant-flesh. Melissa reacted first, futilely trying to shield her eyes as the mass overwhelmed her Sight, and then the other two reeled back as the blast grew so powerful that even they could see and be blinded by it... before it overwhelmed all their senses and they fell unconscious.

It would be some time later when they awoke, realizing the pod had fallen open, and the plant lay dead...
So the combat needn't have ended with everybody captured and Mina drained dead. Hell, in this scenario Jenn could've ended up with an essence-power too.

In all honesty though, what if you went in the helicopter with a few survivors and trusted the few other futas to your car. Once you're dropped off at the prison, you can take the car and drive it back. This way you stay together, and you wont have to worry about the asshole being an asshole

Well, the thing is, she didn't take any friendly action towards Violet either. I suppose a better way of putting it is, I wasn't expecting BurntToast to move Aya that far. I was expecting the sequence to go more like this:

BT: Aya lies there, panting, wanting desperately to finish herself off, but unsure if she should get up or check on Violet.
RJ: Violet's breathing slows, and she rolls back to look at Aya. "That was... wow..." and she kisses Aya.

So significantly less time would've been covered by BurntToast's post. It would've meant he didn't take Aya down the "wrong" path, mostly because he wouldn't have taken her down ANY path, while he waited for a bit more of a cue from RJ.

To be fair, it's not that obvious that she'd be expected to cuddle her opponent. It makes sense, but it's mainly an implicit expectation. And Aya really doesn't come off as the empathic type.

Well, if Aya turns red, looks contrite, and tries to apologize right now, before she heads off with Minx, I think she might get off fairly easily. Both figuratively and literally. :p

From the way it was written, I think we 'actually' lost, but by only a small margin. The last "plant status" before the loss was "The plant appears badly hurt", so I think one more decent hit on the root, and the plant would've keeled over. It's just that I was a bit silly with Melissa's targeting ("torso shot so she doesn't miss", "head shot so she stops talking"), so she dealt out relatively little damage compared to Jenn poking holes in the roots.

So RJ took a little pity on us, pushed Mina into super-Saiyan-ing Melissa, and the rest you know.

The good news is, I think they're too cranky right now to be thinking of something as complex as subterfuge, so if they do get calmed down, it'll be a legitimate calm, and not just "waiting for a better moment".

Though I bet they'll be insanely vulnerable to being commanded should the Goddess approach them, and She might even be able to boss them and use them as "puppets" without actually moving from her mansion. Which in turn would make taking them into the Prison a very dangerous gamble... but if they CAN be talked down, what else will we do with them?

Emily just defeated her Succubus. This means she might be able to pick her gun up and kill one of the succubi raping Iris and Luna. Likely she will save Iris, as the two have been best friends ever sense that mission Shiva was killed in. I'm sure while she does this she'll scream " Get the fuck off her!"

I'm sure that the Succubi can be killed by bullets. I mean, they do have magic but they are still made of flesh and bone, I'm sure a bullet or sword could kill one of them when they're focused on something else and not the person holding the gun, ya know?

I suppose it all comes down to the next turn. Save Iris before she succumbs to the succubi and it's probably a win - Iris + Emily vs one succubus. If she fails it's probably a loss - Emily vs two succubi.

As for our thread... somehow I don't think 3 PC's are going to be fighting 8 full-power futas alone. Either these were injured by the death of the fake goddess, or the "real" ones will give some aid, or this is a set-piece and right when we're about to lose reinforcements will show up in the form of the truck.

They'll at least try to get both of you, but if we somehow convince them you're ok, I doubt we can tell them "Oh the other one's cool too, can we just have her for a second?"

And considering Jo and Dix are there too, I don't know how much support you'll get if you decided you wanted to convince the guards you were both good.

Mina punches the injured one out. The one on top of Melissa goes "AAAH!", cums, and rolls off, moaning and unconscious. The one beneath Melissa realizes she's in over her head, 'cuz they didn't get Melissa off, but can't stop now. That leaves rifle-bearer, rapier-bearer, and the two holding Jenn.

So if Jenn can break free again, we're not doing so bad. Future turns: Melissa and ass-futa cum together, leaving both out, Mina punches someone else out (being pissed that she didn't fuck Melissa into silly putty), and Jenn tackles rapier-bearer again, making 3v2. Mina shows she's an excellent kickboxer and knocks somebody else down, Jenn grabs her rapier and sticks it in rifle-bearer, and that makes 1v2. Win.

Of course this really depends on orgasm being a disable for the futas as much as it's a disable for the heroines. Can't think of a reason it wouldn't be, most futasex thus far has been friendly and had a pause while both parties catch their breath.

David is fairly awesome. My character has a pretty high opinion of him, some of this is due to the fact that he saved her one time during her mission to get him to join the inn. Thinking back to that mission iris was apart of reminds me of the somewhat childish sense of justice she has.


On another note. As of now has the contract been completed between Joseph and the succubus? If it has then maybe Luna could get away with shooting at them. After all, they technically aren't allowed to touch Iris, Luna, or Emily, right?

For a week, at least. Maybe at some point RJ will have Regina drag her off to kill monsters, but it's entirely up to him if he wants to give me the option. She's a week behind all the other characters until we decide to time skip. Really, all she's going to do besides hang out with Regina and sleep around is go to the gym, if left to her own devices.

I actually find the whole futas need to have sex thing interesting. It brings up a lot of psychological mamble-jambles about human nature that I get to think about while writing smex.

- Melissa and Mina are done. Jenn seems to be done, unless David decides to make more conversation. Those're the only PCs in that thread, so they can go to the next day without causing trouble for other players.

- Iris, Luna, and Emily are not done - for quite a bit yet. But they're in a separate thread, so if they're tardy, it shouldn't be a problem for anyone else. Just don't get the timeframes mixed up.

- Selena, Jo, Dixie, and Serena are close. Selena did something stupid, Dixie did something equally stupid, and now they're into a Mexican standoff. They're a ways away from a resolution that doesn't involve mass bloodshed. Once they get it, though, they can hop back to the Inn and get to the next day easily. To be honest, I'd want to rewind to the point where Selena gashed open Serena's arm, and add some note to the effect that Selena promptly started bandaging Serena so she didn't bleed everywhere. Then Dixie doesn't go nuts, and they have an easier time for further negotiations.

- Kaila and Ashley have yet to be skipped forwards. They really should have been, but it hasn't happened yet. I suspect they'll wait until the day turnover so they can skip to that day instead.

- Aya's already on the next day. Getting slapped around by Mina was not good for her health.

- Everybody else is snoozing in the Inn. They can snooze through another night easily.

If I could say something about the succubi themselves. I, in all honesty, think they are ridiculously over powered and simply too hard to beat. Think about this for a moment.

They are all strong. They likely have a strength stat around three or four, maybe even five. They all are likely fast. Unlike every other enemy that every player character has faced before you can't kill them using weapons because they have an impossible to resist mind control. So yeah, we've got an incredibly strong enemy with mind control. The only known ways to beat them are through A:sex, and unless your character is some kind of sex addict who knows all the tricks, most characters aren't, you can't beat them at their own game. The other method of defeating them is through ignoring them, which still doesn't make sense. I don't get how Luna's party was expected to ignore the succubi and run away while thinking this would stop them.

Really, I don't get how anyone would think that Melissa's or Luna's party ever stood a chance against powerful mind controllers. They only had a vague description of how to beat them for help anyways.

Really, if they didn't have the ability to control minds then they would of made great enemy's.

If I could say something about the succubi themselves. I, in all honesty, think they are ridiculously over powered and simply too hard to beat. Think about this for a moment.I helped Icelus write up enemies for Unnamed Nightmares and there were succubi in there. The way we ended up handling them was that they did have a Mind Control attack but it only worked when the target was close to orgasm (Probably Orgasm status: Red in AWMBI terms). Also there was a chance to escape from the control each round (until you ended up being drained or rendered helpless some other way).

They also had an aura that would slowly raise arousal though and (from my test fight with one) did insane amounts of arousal damage, so they weren't easy by any stretch of the imagination either.

(Since RJ is helping me with my thread, I thought I'd chime in with my .02 of suggestions here.)
