Something tells me that, while she is very important, she's also not at the Zoo. She's Joseph's equivalent to the Director or the helicopter pilot - his coordinator and support - and she's holed up somewhere secure like David was.

I think Joseph got sent to the Zoo by her to try finding some kind of queen monster - or maybe even the Goddess herself - and kill her.

So you guys won't get burdened down with her even if you find out where she is. She doesn't (currently, at least) need saving.

And yeah, Joseph is arrogant, stubborn, and stupid. He won't hold still long enough for anybody to reassure him, and he's blurting out all this information with hardly any provocation.

Heh, the answer is actually several... David had run-ins with them, and of course when Selena turned futa she went on a rape spree until she got hustled out of the inn. And now Joseph is likely to end up at the inn, with similar experiences. Heh, and if she asks Jenn she'll get a nice big reinforcement of her "it's just racism" thing, 'cause even if Jenn decides to leave Mina be she'll not accept futas as a whole.

I think it's safe to say that the inn management at least is aware of the problems associated with those people with with an extra set of organs. So River might not know, but if she asks around at the inn she'll find out quick.

As far as she knows, they have extra equipment, there's been no mention around her of the draining half of the equation, so she doesn't really know any danger associated with it. If you insist on multiple melee or driving skills, simulate it with some other skill for now and correct it in the output.

Hrm... on the one hand my mother got me into the habit of ensuring one phone that draws its only required power from the phone line rather then the power line. This does indeed allow land-line phone calls even if I were to go weeks without power. Combine with knowledge of fire and a water system that draws on a seperate power grid and power becomes somewhat less important.

On the other hand... this loss of power appears to be widespread and permanent. I mean, the entire city is without power and it's not coming back. Now, we do get a helpful radio broadcast... by a private citizen using improvised equipment. What the hell have we been listening to the once-a-week "emergency broadcast system" for, if it never went off? What about the national guard or local police going about with loudspeakers? Presumably whatever took out the power knew what the hell it was doing, and had supernatural aid. Suffice to say I think that regardless of measures taken you're not calling the police, and even if you managed it you'd find they were more then a little busy.

I mean, hello? You're the only one with a futa trying to rape her? Even ignoring the PC's with the exact same problem at the exact same time... the police are either silently taken out at this point or they're waging war and losing fast.

Oh no, on the contrary, I do enjoy the emotions of a character who's just been forced from their comfortable niche in life and into hell by the act of killing someone. In fact, I do enjoy roleplaying it from time to time. It's just that when I made the character, I was at a busy time in my life that really didn't allow for much time to think through the character, so I opted to eliminate as many "unnecessary" elements as possible using a horribly flawed/scarred personality as the base. Now that I have time to actually develop/think things through, I'm doing what I can to "ease" Luna into a more substantial character than simply a: "I SEE MONSTER, KILL KILL KILL" type of character.

Unfortunately from what I've been told, >_>;; The succubus are probably Luna's worst enemy even barring stats in that she can't really activate her "mental self-defense" against them... and if you peel that icy mask/visage she created for herself away, she finds herself rather... weak and defenseless fast. Without that... she actually breaks rather fast, especially if she's under constant mindwashing/etc. (The main problem is that "non-aggression" is Luna's worst enemy. Play the "kindness" card enough and she'll be butter in your hands. "Tears" also works too...)

But you are correct, that if she morphed with her mind intact, she WOULD suicide, or even if not by her hand, she'd likely try something insane such as trying to attack the goddess herself to be "killed".

Sadly for Jesse she's going to have to get through Iris if she attempts to do something like that to Luna. Iris does care for Jesse a lot but when it comes right down to it I don't think she cares for anyone more then Luna. When everyone gets back to the inn I could see a small argument breaking out between Jesse and Iris regarding Luna.

What might happen is that when Jesse try's to drag Luna off Iris will intervene. Iris herself will want to keep Luna away from Jesse so she could change her, herself.

As soon as everyone gets on the helicopter Iris is going to contact the director, telling her to get doctors and such ready for when everyone gets to the inn. After that Iris will stick to Luna like glue, actually holding onto her arm. Jesse isn't going to get a chance to drag Luna off while Iris isn't looking and if Luna try's to go off Iris will try to get her to return to their bedroom.

Well then, who knows? Luna does have a tendency to vanish... especially if there's something she doesn't want her sister to know :x... (*cough* Tying up Fleur, etc. I think Luna would try to avoid having Iris find out about that personally.) Although as for escaping to the helicopter/etc, I'm REALLY not for that, mainly as we're already to the codes and can probably make a run for them. Maybe dump Joseph on the helicopter, but stay for the codes.

Also on another note, converting Luna fully has three requirements.

A. Breaking off her "mental armor", the icy visage she usually uses to lock her emotions in place.
B. Patching up the wounds in the past and such, she still considers herself to be a corpse/disposable piece of sorts, in that she would sacrifice herself willingly at this point...
C. Making her break away from the chains of the past, and her fear of getting close to others. Which also means making her get over the "trauma" that turned her into the state she is in now.

A is actually pretty easy for Iris, as hugs/clinging/affection break that armor way too easily... but B and C will depend entirely on what Iris says, how the scene is roleplayed out, etc. I'll give no hints for those two on that note... and will no way force the last ways into place ;P. So whether or not Luna changes depends entirely on the people who try.

Maybe the best thing to happen if for Iris and Jesse to both convert Luna. Iris isn't good with words and might not be able to use her own to change Luna. During step B Iris would more then likely hold onto Luna, telling her how much she cares and loves her and telling her how she's her sister or some crap. During step C Iris would try to make Luna give up and forget about her past by doing similar things she did in step B and telling her that she has to move on and some other crap.


Honestly, Jesse has a better chance of converting Luna as far as words go.

Tying Luna down is probably the only way you'll GET her to stay still long enough. Otherwise, as long as she's free, she'll pull even drastic actions to get away. Which includes using lethal force...

@BG: It is actually quite possible for Jesse to convert Luna while dragging her off provided she does things right. Although step A is a tad harder, it does help that Luna trusts Jesse to a certain degree... Test simulations have shown that it is so long as she makes use of the "correct cards" against Luna.


Which let me restate: The current Luna is most weak against:

A. Non-aggressive mental-assault/kindness (provided it sounds genuine enough.)
B. "Love", "Affection", all that mushy cheesy stuff.
C. Tears, although this mainly doesn't crush Luna's armor but more of make her... "disinterested" in that she'll probably do anything you ask at that point, and just not really care about it.
D. Aggressive MENTAL assault that she can't get away from, such as drugs, psychic abilities, an ability to force her to relive her trauma over and over again... things like that. (see Luna bad-end fiction for example of this... she gets hollowed out/emptied rather pathetically at the end, and becomes a "puppet"/"doll" of sorts)

Ehhh, I really don't feel like sharing the entire thing yet, but for now this segment should give you a good idea.

Bleeding heavily, her left arm hanging limply from her side, the predator turned prey raised her weapon to her head with her remaining arm. Breath ragged, her energy spent, this was the only thing she could do, a escape with death to spite her opponent one last time...

However even this was denied as a spear like tendril shot forth from her own shadow and pierced the gun, rope like tentacles soon following and pulling her to the ground while restraining her. It was then that the overpowering demonic "child" approached her once more, a insane sadistical smile on her face as she looked down with a "pitying" expression to mock Luna even more.

"I've told you have before haven't I?~ Not even death will save you from me...You do belong to me after all..."

The manner in which the "monster" spoke was almost sickening, feigning the innocence of a child while acting with a cruelty beyond even the harshest devils, as she regarded the human suffering as the highest form as entertainment, their frustrations and anger the best of vintages. And Luna's reactions were exactly to her twisted taste, satisfying her immensely...

"Release me coward...at least have the courtesy...to grant your opponents...proper sleep..."

And of course, this only served to pleasure the demon even more, and grant time to come up with more ideas for what she should do to her new "belonging". Moving closer as the demon caused the vigilante to be lifted onto her feet, restrained in a "cross like" position, it was then that she began utilizing the skills most "elegant" hellspawn were capable of, the destruction of the mind, and perhaps "seduction".

"And why should I do that?...Have you forgotten who you belong to?...A doll is subject to its master's will after all..."

Snapping her finger, the tentacles constraining Luna's left arm begin to constrict it and twist it, almost a wringer might. This of course, resulted in a scream of pain from the girl as her arm's flesh was twisted and torn to allow a stream of blood to flow downward into a a shallow cup made from shadow...which the demoness then took into her hands after it had been filled. Raising herself to eye level with the use of a platform of sorts made from the same material, it was then that the horror lifted the cup to her mouth, and threw it away, a smile on her face as it did so.

"You see... you are nothing more than my pet at best, a delectable treat which I sample at my convenience...Your body, already belongs to me...so why resist any longer?... After all, your soul will follow right about now..."

Crimson eyes met crimson eyes as the demon lifted the girl's face up by her chin, a twisted smile on the former's face contrasting the tired and lackluster expression of the latter's. It was obvious who the victor of this bout was, that was for sure. And now at its final conclusion, that winner would take its prize in the must humiliating and "delicious" manner possible... Moving her victim's face closer to her's, the demon then forced the mortal into a deep kiss, enjoying the wide-eyed shock, and every precious drop of soul essence that she absorbed...

@What would happen if Luna and Iris had met before hand?: Most likely, unless Iris took steps of her own, Luna would try to avoid Iris, not wanting to drag her into the same bloody road that she was walking in life. Seeing as there's also alot of risk involved when you're killing high profile targets all the time...

Or if you prefer to look at it metaphorically, she'd have ended up dead. That's the eventual fate of people who indulge themselves on a path of murder. "Someone" will always be better, and when you meet that someone, that would be your time to pass on. It just happened here, that Luna "met" that someone in the form of a mentor who picked her up, teached her to kill, and then came back to "collect" after a few years in this time line.

Also slave is an understatement, this "monster", in the rest of this "ending" literally breaks Luna to the point that she becomes almost a puppet that can't speak, can barely think, and can only follow orders like a robot/soulless doll... Probably a fate worth than death.

I understand the male fates of the current situation but I was kinda wondering how that would be achieved by some creatures. For instance, what would be a slimes reaction to running into a guy? Do guys get drained if they fuck a futa? If not, then what would a drained futa (you know, one who lost control) do if she ran across just a guy?

So going over past experiences, I don't think David got drained when Selena raped him. So I don't think that would satisfy the futa. And taking Ashley's situation, she's being fucked in the ass and that's still draining.

And still what of the slimes? They seem almost purely sexual and almost sentient compared to the other monsters, so I don't know how they'd disembowel and kill men in such grizzly ways

Slimes encountered elsewhere have been less humanoid and more amoeba-like. My thought is that a slime encountering a male human would engulf and absorb him - much like real amoebas do to their prey. Maybe the Inn slimes would be kind enough merely to rape a guy... but somehow I suspect RJ's not going to volunteer any of the male NPCs to demonstrate. :D

I'm fairly sure he's a male Inspired, and probably received his essence capabilities in the same way player Inspired did - that is, it developed over the years prior to now, as the people in question sought out the supernatural in their own ways.

But I mean, the inn slimes were just normal slimes. They started from the one that was caring and took kalis form and even had her free as it was smexing her...that was Azure. I think Azure started the process of "taming" the slime, by being friendly towards it (at the tail-end of the Medic mission, as well as later), and their habit of "commingling" (I think I spelt that correctly...) with their children passed on the tameness to all the children. Unfortunately Azure didn't discover any means of having sex with a slime without being impregnated by it, and nobody else has spent very long in their company, so basically the Basement and its slime population exists to let players write smexings with monsters and/or threaten the safety of the Inn.

"Wild" slimes wouldn't share the same memories of playing around with Azure, and curious women wandering into the basement and being seduced, and are therefore quite a bit more aggressive. Get impregnated by a slime in the wild, and it won't let you go after you've given birth - it'll stick another baby in the oven.It sorta works like gender...

Eh, Iris being harmed = Luna Rage.

Iris being killed? Tears of Rage as Luna did an all out suicide attack on whatever killed her, or if she died by accident, on every monster out there, without a care in the world for herself.

Tears of sadness?... The moment in which she remembers enough of her past, if too many things remind her of her past...

Tears of self-pity?... Nope. Luna doesn't cry those... period. For the most part anyway.
