Yes, it's more exciting to get replies quickly, but I for one can't even keep up with it when it happens like that, most of my OOC comments get ninja'd at least four times each :\ I just want to see things happen while I'm away, and not have people annoyed when it takes me a half hour to post...

Are my posts decent?

Your smaller font size is a bit of a pain, as I spend most of my time reading on a 1.5 inch screen, but the writing itself is quite good. I think I noticed a couple repeated ideas and maybe a run on sentence or two, but I'm kind of bad for that myself, so I can't bug you about it too much ;)

I didn't say that BG, I actually think that the smaller font fits Iris quite well, or at least the new version of her. If you're really worried about it, maybe just have the speech smaller and the thoughts and narrative full-size?

Going into a trance is more for the Inspired who've lost a great amount of Essence, and need to get it back quickly.

I always add an emotion after says, like,

She says plainly,

She says seductively.

But, it's pretty hard to avoid the "she says" phrase, unless you did something like,

"Go to hell, you bloody narwhal!" she spat.

Well... you could do like I'm doing, and simply not write out that River's speaking, or use the avatar picture in place of "she says".
River gestured with her hand. "Let's go that way."
You can go the descriptive route, as previously mentioned.
River ground out, "I'll NEVER give in to YOU!"
Interstitial declarations can generally cover both speech quotes.
"You really shouldn't do that," said River. "You'll get in a lot of trouble."

Or you could have her go mute for a post or two. Nods, points, shakes her head, glares, what-have-you, but no speech.

I like Majorie's writing, although the endings of some of her stories leaves me with a somewhat disappointed taste in my mouth, most of the endings seem to be either a) monster simply lets girl go in the end or b) some weird quasi-enviromentalism sounding message (ie: Red)

1)If these girls are the same as wanted to rape David, she's trying to mention the fact that Cal is a guy to see how they react.

2)Laptop has an Air Card, sets up to the GPS system, is how Cal usually keeps tabs on her physical location. chances are if theres any military left in the states, they've already taken away public access to use it themselves though, but that isn't the important part. Laptop also has Cal's entire smut collection, might keep him away from the girls some :P

3)Apartment is on a higher floor (Cause i said so, none of this ground-floor bullcrap :\), if she can see the Inn from the patio she might be able to signal David to take care of the three girls if we decide they're a problem by the time we get there.
