My character got to be a rancher through nepotism so everyone else is going to have to tell him what to do.

Also give me all your dollas.

Whew, I added more than I intended to on top of what I already had.

As well, I (yet again) updated the current mamono in order to change the way in which I stat them.

For every monster I found a gif for, I added them to the Mamonodex. All of the rest of the monster girl cast will just be blank data, unless you guys know of some sprites or something vidya game like to insert in there.

I also added an unofficial entry, Queen Bee, because I found her sexy.

Question; how could the mandragora remove both the headphones (or setting appropriate ear coverings) and the earplugs without Galt just dropping her? Even without music he wore two protection devices for exactly what the madragora tried.

Not a attack on your person sir, just trying to understand the flow of the post for my next one.

That depends on if he was expecting her to reach for whatever was protecting his ears, or if she would scream first. She also didn't like him giving her the boot, so she'd have got him back for it sooner or later.

I feel so proud, making an announcement for only two players.

Anyway, I added the Kunoichi and Black Harpy for Oni and Blue respectively, as these two mamono are related to them in some way. And the Black Harpies weren't that hard to make either. They're just slightly more intelligent than normal harpies.

Oh boy... How am I going to break it to him...?

This RP is more or less about men being raped by female monsters. If you're going to play a male character, you're gonna get dominated. That's pretty much all there is to it. >.>

All of the good ranchers of MGR receive this magazine in their boxes:

There will be a new shop owner opening up near Auntie Verde's shop!

Her items are all of a dark, sexual nature. No doubt that ranchers may try to employ her items to get ahead, will she put the honest Verde out of business?

Venice would like to let all of her Ranchers be aware, that while she passed Venice's standards of safety, to be very cautious about her item's effects on your partners!

The shop can be found on the eastern outskirts of town, near Verde's shop, building 108 on all updated city maps.

Alright, since two out of my three loyal players have made it to Rand D, I've been pondering about the Rank D mamono you should encounter, and ended up associating every current mamono created with a grade to explain it's 'very-very-very' general range of ability, and general threat.

First, here's a link to the forum (http://monstergirlunlimited.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=303&sid=5394ca74e959627652faf46a8ac860ff)(which you need to sign up for, the dicks), which has a full alphabetical list of all the mamono.

Second, my reasoning behind the grade system.

S - Mamono of Godly Power (Usually Ancient beings that could possibly destroy entire countries if they wanted to.)

A - Mamono of Extremely High Power. (Kitsunes, or otherwise anything that couldn't stand up to something as terrifying as a dragon while still being scary powerful.)

B - Mamono of Above Average Power (Compared to the above and below catagories. Mamono that can easily beat something like a lizard, or an orc, but can't reasonably beat something like an Inari, and are still frightening foes in combat)

C - Mamono of Average Power (Mamono that are efficient at fighting, and can fight well, but aren't impressively powerful. aka, a very skilled human could beat a Rank C in a fair fight.)

D - Mamono of Weak Fighting Ability (Mamono in this category aren't particularly threatening or dangerous. They can still fight with limited effectiveness given their natural ablilty, but don't excel in combat.)

E - Mamono of Minimal to no Fighting Ability (Mamono in this category aren't meant to fight. Most normal human beings could physically handle almost any monster in this catagory. They're just not dangerous.)

And now, here's the list itself, containing every mamono and the grade I thought appropriate for them.

Well, the same rules still apply. A highly skilled man could beat something like, say, a Lizard girl in a fight.

That's Grade C though. Grade B Mamono are like the minotauress. Like Mythology, a human being who can take down a beast like that on their own could easily be considered a great hero that is worthy of being known across the world. Beat one bare handed and in a plain arena and people might consider you a god.

Grade A mamono are like kitsune. Yeah, fluffy tails. You automatically lose because they're so soft and wonderful.

I just remember stories of a single mamono being equal to the si or seven men hunting it, and such like that. A human being pretty well out of choice if one of them decides she fancies him, and so on and so forth. I'm just glad it isn't so cut and dry as that, is all.

I haven't been putting up logs for termite's thread because I'm super lazy, but here is an interesting part, at least to me.

Jade tries to kill Alex
Termite: What... What was this empty voice in her heart? It never said a word, and yet she could hear it plain as day, promises of power and joy and the overwhelming pleasure of feeling another soul thrumming beside your own. A bit of her wanted that. It wanted the strength to stand equal to all that surrounded her. The power to take whatever she wanted. The right to grasp the world and bend it to her very will. It was intoxicating. Enticing. It made her want to take everything and more... And it was sickening... The fact that she harbored such desire was one thing, but this desire wasn't simply her own. Something had crawled into her, warped her pride, tried to replace her own natural power with some warped copy that would never truly be her own. And it thought it could do this to a dragon?! Alex's natural beast was infuriated, enough so that she felt like she was burning from the inside out as she stumbled to her feet. A part of her heard Zuki's plea, but she couldn't deal with that now. She needed to get outside, to open air where her power could do no harm. and drag it beyond the void and back to its realm. >>

Termite: Because she still felt herself slipping. Even with her father's indignation burning through her that wicked presence was still claiming her bit by bit. It felt like she was being eaten, the darkness wrapping around her and dragging her into whatever hell awaited. She couldn't fight this on her own. So she wouldn't. She stumbled out into the night, her body clutching at herself in absolute pain, and once she felt she had enough room she leaned back and roared. Her voice became an echo of the great beast that spawned her, and a moment later its power burst from her maw and spilled into the sky, a bright and powerful flame that warped the air with its immense heat. But as that fire burned and rose there was something within it. A voice that called out in an ancient language that few understood. A voice that only the dragonborn could hear and carried on the flames itself. It was a cry for help, a cry to a power even greater than her own. A moment later it answered. >>

Termite: Her flame began to change, to shift from the pure white of the highest heat to a darkness that blotted out even the night itself. Those attuned to the world would feel the boundaries of this dimension strain, as if something were about to break through. And if they tracked it to its source they would find it centered deep within Alexandra. She called out, her plea for help reaching out beyond the veil of the physical realm to her ancestors who had grown beyond the paltry limitations of the flesh. She offered them her flesh and her soul, the necessary bridge to allow them to manifest in this world once more, and once they did they would tear through whatever threat endangered their kin. Her fire took on a life of its own, flecks of the brightest light dancing within a background of pure nothingness, and for one moment a form could be seen writhing through the air. But in the next it descended, Alex's fire collapsing in on itself, and in an odd twist it plunged back into her mouth and dove straight into her body. Once the Black Dragon had seen its target it knew what it must do. An outside force was attacking its descendent, and no matter how much damage the woman would suffer it rip it from her soul

RJ: The power that Alex summoned quickly went force, and was met with resistance. Alex would feel why. The power within her wasn't exactly "eating" her, it was changing her, much like a mutation. When met with this resistance... She'd have to burn away a portion of her own soul to free herself of it.

Termite: When faced with this truth she focused her will into a voice that echoed across her soul. <Do it!>

RJ: Like tearing off an infected limb, the power did as it was asked, as Alex would feel the extraordinary pain of having a rather large portion of her soul burned away, and much of her power with it. The magic that seemed to consume her was deadly, and merciless, able to consume someone a thousand times faster than the corruption back home. Still, Alex was freed of the infection, though her troubles were not quite over... A green wing would be all she saw, before an impossibly powerful force slammed into her, while a massive claw wrapped around her head, smashing her down with such force that would have snapped even a greater creature's neck, and grinding her along the dirt as they slid along the ground as if it were ice. Once they stopped, she was allowed a glance.

RJ: It was Jade, and she looked infuriated.

Termite: Battered, burned, diminished and exhausted, Alex was an easy target for the blur of green that slammed her down and dragged her through the ground. Seeing this power up close Alex figured she would have been an easy target even at full strength. But she had nothing left to even offer a bit of resistance, so she simply looked up and waited for her elder to speak. If she even got that far It was quite possible she'd simply be destroyed. Either way she had no choice in the matter.

RJ: "YOU IDIOT! HOW DARE YOU!?" Jade screamed, before she stood, grabbing Alex by the tail and throwing her as if she were weightless, slamming her to the ground, Alex's natural strength enough to not be broken by her terrible strength. Suddenly, Alex would hear another. "Master!" Ashlotte cried out, seeing Alex like that, before the golem was rushing to aid Alex, just as she saw Jade turn, looking ready to destroy the golem.

Termite: "STAND DOWN!" She was surprised to see she still had the clarity let alone the strength to order Ashlotte to a stop. "This is a private matter." Her attention turned back toward Jade. She wasn't quite sure why the grand dragon was so angry, but all she could do was offer the motivation. "I will not allow myself to be changed."

RJ: Ashlotte skid to a halt, and just in time, as Jade looked ready to destroy her. Seeing the little threat stop, she looked back down to Alex. "IGNORANT! HALF-BLOODED CHILD!" Jade screamed, before slamming her foot down on Alex's head. "THE DIMENSIONS ARE NEVER TO BE BREACHED! I'M GOING TO END YOUR LIFE BEFORE YOU THREATEN VENICE'S WORLD!" she growled, the claw of her foot clamping down, threatening to crush Alex's head.

Termite: The foot falling on her head brought Alex back to a very dark memory, and for a moment she simply stopped. But it also summoned a deep anger, and with it she found the voice to speak even when she was about to have her head caved in. "So I should just allow myself to be warped into a parasite?!"

RJ: "ALLOW YOURSELF TO BE A CORPSE!" Jade replied, lifting her leg to do the final deed, before sending it crashing down. All she saw was a flash, before she was suddenly face to face with Venice, who was crouching and holding her arms protectively over her head in a cross, blocking Jade's foot. She heard a snap, Venice's bones were breaking. Blood quickly began to stain her white hair, and drip down profusely onto Alex's face. "Will you survive if I leave you for a moment?" she asked calmly, but urgently.

Termite: She really couldn't have hoped to avoid it, not with the look in the dragon's eyes, but Fate intervened. A flash revealed itself to be the undead Venice, and the woman intercepted Jade's clawed foot before Alex found her end. But Venice was not without her limits, and hearing those bones crack was not a good sign. "I will try." And try she did, what meager amounts of strength she had left flowing through her body and granting her a mere sliver of the power her Father held. It wasn't much, but it would allow her to move, and she rolled out of the way before Jade's foot could finish its deadly descent. She wouldn't be able to outrun her elder, and she sure as hell couldn't outfight her, but she didn't need to win. Venice said it herself. Alex just needed to survive.

RJ: "Why...!?" Jade exclaimed, at first stunned to see Venice. Venice replied by suddenly throwing Jade off. Her arms looked limp and broken, hanging loosely, her bones disconnected. But suddenly, there was a sickeningly loud crack, as Venice seemed to regenerate herself, and her bones snapped back into place, righting themselves. "You did well to follow my orders, Jade, but I will excuse this one from the rule. She didn't know any better." Venice announced. "I..." Jade growled, a dragon's fury never went away easily. "I WAS FOLLOWING YOUR ORDERS! DO NOT GET IN MY WAY!" Jade growled, and suddenly rushed to attack her own master. Jade slammed her claw forth, before Venice seemed to vanish faster than the blink of an eye, suddenly above Jade as she soared through the air, holding her palms together as she gathered a ball of energy, before blasting it at Jade. A blue beam of refined power blasted Jade, and buried the dragon in it's light. But suddenly, Jade revealed that that was not enough to kill her. Though she was burned, the dragon surged forth from the light, and fired a ray of fire from her mouth, which ran Venice through, creating a hole in her stomach.

RJ: But Venice wasn't through, she moved as if she suffered nothing, before energy gathered around her fist, and she slammed her knuckles into Jade, and kept going into she drilled the dragon into the earth. Jade didn't move once she did that, before Venice rose with a sigh, a hole still in her body as she looked, and smiled at Alex. "She gets rowdy occasionally. I apologize."

Back when I was just making MGR and derping around, I made unbalanced and sometimes sucky monsters with derp traits. I've changed that, making higher Grade Mamono less powerful and changed the traits on certain mamono. Some mamono have barely been changed but still weakened, so don't be looking for outstanding changes.

The mamono changed are listed as such.

-Alice
-Anubis
-Beelzebub
-Chochin-Obake
-Crow Tengu
-Dragon
-Elf
-Giant Ant
-Honey Bee (her trait was merely given more clarity)

The biggest issue was the difference between how strong those mamono were and how strong I've established that a mamono should be.

At Rank C, a mamono should have 6 Rank points. A single rank point can either give six upgrades to their six basic stats, or a Rank up to Tech. Ergo, a basic mamono, Grade C, should look like this:

Life: C
Power: C
Intelligence: C
Defense: C
Skill: C

The issue with the more powerful mamono is a derp on my part, giving them one more rank point than they deserved, so I reduced most higher rank mamono by 1 rank point, essentially nerfing them.

That is also what happens when a mamono is upgraded from it's base Grade, it either gets 1 Rank point or half of one, depending.

Yes, I allow this because if Venice can stand in front of your Ranch and wait for you to pop out, so can anyone else.

After talking with Ryu while dying at various vidya, I pondered adding the ability to spend one's funds on constructing various things within one's Ranch, such as certain structures like a Magi Milk Enhancer that will enhance fresh holstaurus milk (fresh from the nipple) into the Holstaurus Milk item from Saphirette's shop, and structures that can allow for equipment to be built that your mamono can equip for bonuses, such as blacksmiths, gem crafter, and enchanter as well as other structures tailored for certain kinds of mamono, depending on their fighting style.

What you do guys think about spending your hard earned cash on adding some neat little buildings to your Ranch, and what buildings might you have in mind for there to be to build?

I really like the idea, though I've noticed that it can be difficult to turn a profit with a ranch. Solve this issue, and I'll be all over custom constructions like bad sexy fungus.

At one point, Mamono generated income based on their stats and everyone needed to be fed per week. This became a nightmare of mechanics for my ranch because of all of Ashley's mamono, and so RJ opted to replace it with the current model that basically only allows you to get money by question/fighting or assorted RP methods. This occurred just as I was about to get my ranch into the black too :<

That said, it's up to RJ whether or not he wants to bring that back, possibly in a simplified form. I do support the idea of support structures of some sort, though am currently too tired to think of anything beyond the obvious stuff that has already been suggested/stated.

As of yet, the best way to turn a profit in a ranch would be to go out and fight stuff. With constructions like the ones I've been thinking about, Blueslime could say, construct a mail post for people of the nearby area to come and ask to have their mail delivered to various areas. That way, when his baby harpies come about, I won't need to figure out any silly things like how they'd get work or payment by performance, because Blue would OWN the business for that area with his Harpy Mail Service construction.

for that, I'd probably say that he'd likely have to pay for some hefty sum for the construction, and station a harpy there to work and gather a much smaller amount every week, which will of course pay off eventually, and begin to net him a profit.

Has on-site training facilities been suggested? How about a sparring ring so that Mamono can train each other? (Which shouldn't cost much, being at the very least four posts and some string.) I know some of the ladies will want their own alchemy laboratories, and those can get expensive, but a library is room with lots of shelves. It's the amount books that's the real cost.

Edit-> Also, what about setting up a garden and assigning a mamono as the caretaker so grow some food on site instead of having to order it.

Mamono Assault Force
7th February 2013, 07:51
Not a bad idea, I'd probably allow for the construction of such a facility, so that if you get a new mamono, you will be able to train her up really fast by using a mamono of the kind of statting you want her to develop to train her.

Mostly so that down the road, if someone suddenly decides they want mighty mouse, and they've just gone and pretty much beat the game, they can acquire their mighty mouse and get her strong fairly quickly.

Cross, I'm just gonna go ahead save you a whole lot of time: Don't bother training things with less than a C rating. It's basically a waste of time. The only exception to this is Skill, which your mamono need in order to hit things, but even with that your skele has a move that improves accuracy somewhat and does decent damage (Slash). Pump the stats that she's actually good with, Life and Power.

So here, without further adieu, is my present to you lot!

IMA members can train mamono to give them new skills. Select components and whether or not the mamono learns a skill is determined by whether or not they meet the grade in the related stats, tech, and mamono grade for that skill. See more explicit details below.
Skill Grade determines the number of points spent on creating it, and you get 4 points per grade divided into 4 difficulty ranks. So, E skills give up to 4 points, D skills give up to 8, C skills 12, B skills 16, A skills 20, and S skills give up to 24 points for use in their creation. A mamono cannot learn a skill that's grade is above the grade of their tech, and the difficulty determines whether or not they can learn the skill being created.

RaptorJesus: (The difficulties influence the level of her opponent.)
RaptorJesus: (From 1-4, a Grade E sparring match's level can go from 100, 200, 300, to 400.)
RaptorJesus: (Grade D, 300, 400, 500, 600.)
tassadar003: (so her level would have to exceed that, or her value in the stat according to a creature of that level, or what?)
RaptorJesus: (She would put the skill to use. Her mamono level will weigh in against the opponent to determine her advantage or disadvantage, influenced by her Grade.)
RaptorJesus: (Increasing in multiplication. Ergo, grade E - level 300, would simply be level 300. In Sparkle's case, her level 320 would be... 1120)
tassadar003: (wat. How do you even get that number?)
RaptorJesus: (C+ = 3.5)
tassadar003: (oh, 3.5, derp)
RaptorJesus: (E = 1, D = 2, C=3. Plusses add .5)

Grade E skills: 1 (100) 2 (200) 3 (300) 4 (400)
Grade D skills: 5 (300) 6 (400) 7 (600) 8 (700)
Grade C skills: 9 (500) 10 (600) 11 (700) 12 (800)
Probably won't need higher than this.
The level of a skill is multiplied by the Grade when determining difficulty to learn a skill, and your mamono's current level is multiplied by their grade, as can be seen in the example above.

The guts cost of a skill is equal to: # of points spent on making the skill / the tech grade factor thing.
Tech factors are equal to .04 times the grade of the mamono's tech, so E = .04, D = .08, C = .12, B = .16, A = .2, and S = .24

So, basically: Choose a number of points that you want and an appropriate trainer for what you want a skill to do. (They must make sense given the lore. Melpha will not train people to set the souls of things on fire.) This number must be within a rank that's less than or equal to your trainee mamono's tech, IE: a tech grade D mamono can learn a skill that costs 8 points, and no more. Then, whether or not the mamono can actually learn the skill is determined by the above formula, and you can compute the guts cost and save MAF a bit of time by doing the above. See this (http://www.ulmf.org/bbs/showpost.php?p=372738&postcount=3) post for more info on skills. When making a skill, increasing any of the damage boxes costs 1 point, and giving a 20% chance for a status effect costs 1 point.

So, for example:
Making a skill that deals E damage to health, withers guts for D damage, and has a 20% chance to charm would cost 4 points, making it the hardest E skill, and would cost 4/guts factor guts for the mamono to use in battle. This can be seen below, with Sparkle's tech used to determine cost.
Tail Injection.
Pow 33
E/-/D/-
20% to charm

Sparkle would require a level * grade value equal to E (1) * 400 in order to learn this skill, and as her level at time of writing is 320 and her grade is 3.5, she can easily learn this ability.
Learning a version that costs 5 points and has a higher chance to charm would look like this:
Tail Injection.
Pow 41
E/-/D/-
40% to charm
And Sparkle would require a D (2) * 300 = 600 effective skill level to learn this, which she also exceeds.

On more advanced effects and rounding:

tassadar003: (chances for status effects come in increments of 20% right? What about other things like Gobbo and Jace's damage resistance, are those 1 point too?)
RaptorJesus: (Depends on the effect. Jace's ability Cower comes in a single increment that cannot be increased. A more advanced ability would increase at 10% per increment, or 20% to block a single type of attack, be it physical or magical.)
tassadar003: (also, how do you round for the guts costs)
RaptorJesus: (Round naturally. If the result is .5, round down if it is a wither based attack, and up if it is a damaging attack.)
tassadar003: (righto, so round down if it only does wither?)
RaptorJesus: (Round down if it is primarily a wither. So long as the damage stat does not exceed half of the wither's grade)
RaptorJesus: (Ex. It is wither based if you have S in wither, and C in damage)
tassadar003: (so the tail move as seen above would be wither based, cuz D wither and E damage?)
RaptorJesus: (Correct)
tassadar003: (cool beans)

IMA Representatives Known
Going over to meet Melpha, she greeted them with a smile. "I can teach you these sorts of techniques..." (Melpha's dojo focuses in Withering, Status Effects, and Accuracy.)

Roan grunted, "You wanna train here? It's rough!" she laughed. (Roan teaches primarily in Damage and Critical attacks. Physical only.)

Shizuku hummed. "Things are a bit chaotic... But I can teach you a few things." (Shizuku teaches primarily in debuffs, status effects, and accuracy.)
(Note: A debuff is not a status effect. It is something that can affect a mamono regardless of resistance to status effects, such as an arachne using her webs, though debuffs are not as effective as status effects.)

Lotus giggled. "If you think you can keep up, I will teach you how to win with wit." (Lotus teaches primarily in Magical damage, Draining, and Critical)

Valdis glared over at her guest. "... Try not to die." (Valdis teaches primarily in Withering, Debuffs, and Status effects.)

Crystal Clare waved, "Hello~! What can I do for you?" (Claire teaches primarily in Defensive skills, Healing, and Withering)

Isabell hummed, "You want to learn something from me? I don't teach often, but I will try." (Isabell teaches primarily in Damage, accuracy, and critical.)

Envy blinked. "... are you making fun of me?" (Envy is homeless, she does not have a dojo.)

The elementals gathered each give contribution. "We can teach you any sort of magical skill, but we are strict instructors." Undine announced. (The elementals can teach any skill, but are slightly harder to beat. Note, elementals can only teach Mag skills)

Baphomet laughs. "Oh, I can teach you how to destroy a living thing in every way possible." (Baphomet can teach any physical skill, but is harder to beat.)

Fio nods. "I will give you a good lesson in discipline. I may be harsh, but you will thank me when your opponent's punishment doesn't phase you." (Fio teaches primarily in Accuracy, Damage, and withering.)

Venice, "I can do it all, but I'm in a hurry. Good luck!" (Venice can teach any skill. She is the hardest to face.)

I'll give that a look over for accuracy, but my own additions if I may.

Mamono who train at the dojo and succeed do level up. Only one mamono can train at a dojo at a time though, so sending half a dozen mamono to all different dojos will not be allowed for the sake of my own sanity.

As well, this is all only important if you wish to make custom skills for your mamono. You can skip all of this hassle and I will make a skill for you and spare you having to learn all this nonsense.

Update: Because I've been thinking about a less cheesy method of strong defense (Not gaining 20 guts in order to hugely mitigate a 100 guts attack sort of destroys the point of using an ultimate skill like that) I've updated the Defense command and added another.

~~~
Defend! (Forsake using a skill and use Guts to mitigate the enemy's next attack by up to half. Scales with Tech.)
Get out of the way! (Use all current Guts to increase Speed for the enemy's next attack. Scales with Tech)
~~~

As well, I added a small rule for item use. Whenever you use an item and have the option of using another, you must wait five second in-game time before you can use another. (Just to clarify, mamono will normally gain 25 guts after five seconds.)
