View Full Version : The Egg

A new form of entertainment has arrived, simply deemed: The Egg. It was a sort of new virtual reality, that put the user in the body of the character they were currently playing. Sitting inside a metallic egg, the user would literally delve into the world, fighting, loving and exploring, as the game constantly built upon itself, based solely on the users decisions. Everything was based on the player's actual physique and abilities; if they couldn't left a 10 pound box, they shouldn't expect their avatar to, either. The user could customize their experience completely, fitting their 'enemies' to their specific needs and wants, and even their darkest desires. Sure, it cost a lot of money to actually get in the egg... but after one play, everyone seemed to agree: You were hooked.
Yeah. Since my computer is like... This | | close to being fixed, I've decided to start up another PbP. It's not new by any means; in fact, I've played it with quite a few people on MSN (LDF, RK, Lurker, Hali, Simca)...
The way The Egg (or The Game) works is pretty simple: Very basic stats (usually 1 or 2 total, max 4), and only a d20. Your stats in no way reflect how easily you can perform a task - it's how descriptive you can make your response that will give you a bonus or a malus. The enemies can be catered to your experience - from anything to tribal furres/humans, all the way down to mindless beasties and monsters roaming around, just looking for a fuck. There are numerous scenarios, all which can easily be played out and adjusted on the fly.
Now, the big thing when it comes to me and PbPs is updating... But the fun thing about the Egg is that it's so simple, and so easy to understand, someone could come up with their own version for it, and people could play it just as easily as they play my version. You don't even need to ask me if you want to run your own scenario really - The Egg's so basic, I don't mind if you just start up games randomly. In other words, if you see something in the Egg you want to run, or you come up with a basic game for one, just run it!
So, remember how I mentioned stats? Here's the four stats that you may see in a game:
Pleasure Points: This is kind of like your HP. You always have a maximum of 5 when you start; when you get 5/5 PP, you orgasm, and either one of three things happens: You get a game over scene and have to restart from the last fight; a game over scene and the loss of a life; or just a juicy orgasm scene. PP will be in every game.
Arousal Points: Sometimes, when you're fighting for your life, it just feels weird if an enemy starts to rape you. Like PP, your AP starts at 5; when it gets full, you willingly have sex with whatever is around you. If your AP isn't full and you start to have sex, you actually get a bonus over the enemy raping you.
Heat Points: This is mostly used for Furries and Anthros. When these fill up, the furry or anthro will have a constantly full AP until she has sex. The character can delay her HP by having any kind of sex.
Magic Points: Used in very few games. Magic Points regenerate every day, so use them wisely.
Rare Stats
You very, very, very rarely see these stats in any game.
Fertility: How fertile you are. Used by both Males and Females.
Pheromones: A scent put out by males only.
Scenarios: Here are all of the Scenarios that I've come up with so far. I literally add new ones as I think of them.
The Savannah: A hostile land, the player starts out as a wandering nomad with no home and no tribe in the Pridelands, a relatively safe area. Their goal: Expand into the Savannah and make a name for themselves, without being forced into another tribe against their will. Plenty of magic users are abound here.
The Tundra: Even more hostile than the Savannah. There is no 'beginning' area, with the player thrust right into a snow-covered mountain peak; They must care out a niche for themselves or be ravaged by the wilds, the other tribes, or even the gods! Fewer magic users than the Savannahs, but they are much, much stronger.
The Forest: Waking up in a strange, large forest, the player is just looking for a way out. There are plenty of monsters waiting in the shadows, just to make sure that will never happen though...
The Oasis Much like the Forest, but on a much grander scale. After walking through the desert for weeks, the player stumbles upon a large oasis, large enough to support small tribes. With Mountains to the east, a large underground cavern to explore, and smoke rising from the North, it seems like there may be more than one way to get out of this Paradise...
College: A college atmosphere is the perfect place to hide an underground black market of slave trading. Seriously, it is! Furres and Anthros are ALWAYS in this game.
Space Station: A sci-fi adventure, where the player is the only remaining member of a squad. The enemy is a race that uses exotic weapons, like tentacle grenades, aphrodisiac darts, and even genetic engineering, as the player races to save the station from total destruction.
Futuristic Metropolis: The prequel to the Space Station, this colony was the first one hit by the enemy warband. This time, the player takes control of their squad right off the bat, working to stop the enemy advancement and push them back into the jungles.
More to come...
The game is pretty simple. If enough interest is shown, I'll try to get it another sub forum, and we'll start playing from there. If you want a taste of it before you play it on the forum, you can always contact me on my MSN, and I'd be happy to boot up a game for ya.

As a moderately common player of this, I can say it's quite fun, although most of the games doesn't exactly fit my tastes, the games I do play tend to be fun, if somewhat harsh for my fluffy little bubblewrap'd world. ;_;
Doesn't help that it's either being a Male and being Yaoi'd to death, or a Female and get knocked up left and right. But eh, I'm a whiny bitch. |:
I prefer The Savannah as a game, given that it's the "Easiest" game to play if you want a moderate chance of getting things your way.
Then again, I've only skipped around and never delved deeply in any one game.
*Rants more, but overall, approves of the Egg*

Sounds interesting. Is there any limit on races?

Nope. I've had domestic house cats playing the Savannah scenario.

So you could be anyone or anything? Ranging from a half-human half-fire bird (Although probably not actually flaming), to a hermaphroditic dragon anthropomorph, to a Kansas farm girl?
SilentSilth
8th July 2009, 01:29
Actually, I don't let people start out as a Herm unless their playing Slave Hunt. You can become a herm in all of the game though, usually through some fluke events or doing a few quests.
Kansas farm girl though? Yeah, she'd get raped by a bull man after she attempted to milk some cows.
Ooo, Ooo! I remember Silth running this for me. Never got finished, but it was awesome! <3

...I've never finished a game yet. It would be fun to be able to, just so I could extend the game beyond a standard text RoR.

Interest to play and to set up a shortie game for one or two people on my own, since you put the option out there. X3 I've been meaning to mod something since Madrigal fell through, but I'm not sure that I could pull out a full stop game, so a simpler one sounds perfect.
edit:
If I were to put something together, I'd probably make a player fill out a short form first:
Anthros: Y/N
Herms: Y/N
Male/Male: Y/N
Female/Female: Y/N
Pregnancy: Y/N
Milking: Y/N
Birthing: Y/N
Non Consent Sex: Y/N
BDSM: Y/N
Slavery: Y/N
Gore or Violence: Y/N
Animals (Sentient): Y/N
Animals (Non-Sentient): N/N (XD As I don't think I'd be able to mod such things... neither Loli, I think)
Anything else that could be a fetish for some and a squick for others:.... etc.
Then base a game around what it seems like the player's looking for. I like the idea of something fully customizeable. :P

I'm interested, tentatively. It seems like it would be a relevantly simple game to play, and since I've never played any of these before, that is a good thing.

I'm also interested.
Silth! You're finally sharing this wonderful creation with the world? I'm so proud! =3 Silth and I currently have more than one game goin', and I can say its probably like the second or third best thing ever. Sorry Silth, but I still love food and sex...
*Gives a five star rating.*

I run everything on a d20 system. I'm doing a quick RP with Hali so I can post it here as an example...
EDIT: Here's a small one we did, of a game already in progress. I had to go to sleep, so we stopped as Hali made a mad-dash through ten orc soldiers, about to jump out a window. I don't show my rolls to the players, unless I think there's something particularly interesting (A Natural 20 or a Weak 1, for example). I will give a break down of what happened, though, using ( ) and italics.
[17:14] Silth: Hali's new body was suited for the jump, somehow. Flying through the already broken windows, she flipped, tumbling onto the ground without taking any real damage. She put back on her helmet, to the sound of Kira freaking out, "Run! Just get out of there!" The VI said. (This had no rolls involved in it - mostly just a quick description so Hali knew where to start.)
[17:16] Hali: She obeyed, sprinting as hard as she could strait away from the building!
[17:23] Silth: Hali could hear the orcs roaring in anger as she started to run, the odd darts they all fired at her. The fox woman began to stumble, feeling almost all of the aphrodisiac darts strike her as she run, her pussy almost immediately beginning to drip juices. She meakly jumped over the line of overturned hover buggies, trying to use it as cover...((Hali's AP: 6/7))
(There were 10 Orc Soldiers on the top of the building. In the Space Station game, the Soldiers are always the basic class, meaning they wouldn't get a bonus to anything. All 10 of the orcs fired once, and they just needed to get a 10 or better to score a hit on Hali - which 6 of them did.)
[17:27] Hali: She felt so hot... She shook off the feeling, prepared to take off again. She took a running leap and tried to remain behind cover while sprinting away, taking pot shots behind her! (I just forgot to roll Hali's attack here. >.> Whoops.)
[17:28] Silth: ((Wow. That was good.o.o)) (There was a Chieftain on the roof. Even though he had a malus because of how far he was throwing the grenade, he still got an 11 - good enough to get it near her...)
[17:30] Silth: Hali was about to take off when the Chieftain on the apartment complex threw the grenade, the metal canister landing right in front of Hali. There was a delay in the firing mechanism, which the fox woman used to run as far away. (However, because Orcs don't use any kind of weapons that can hurt their enemies, their grenades don't explode - they release tentacles. The tentacles also need to score at least a 10 in order to grab our fox warrior here - but they scored a 6.) The container exploded in a cloud of spores behind her, the tentacles immediately growing off their food supply and flailing around.
Hali was long gone though, running back to a safe distance Kira had marked on her HUD.
((Hali's AP: 5/7.)) (At the end of any round, when Hali's not being attacked or assaulted in a sexual way, she loses 1 AP. Since she's probably gonna be running for a while though, she'll be back at 0/7 by the time we encounter another enemy.)
So that's how a battle runs... Now if I can get someone online who wants to do a more in-depth example, I'd love to show how Traveling, Time, and even locating food and friends in some instances works.

Okay, so here are some thoughts on setting up a game or three for single players.
1) Putting together a survey for the character (or you as the player, however you want to approach this) to determine likes and dislikes. This is sort of done IC, as if the company with the egg is asking some pre-play questions in order to format a world.
-->Taking the survey for each player and making a different setting with different opponents/styles of play, as opposed to plopping them into a pre-created world with pre-created monsters.
2) Optionally adding a 'well you just rape them right back, missy' stat/ability/potential or something to games. XD As much as getting chased down by things and getting the raep on is fun, I just like the dynamic of taking an offensive outlook to a game... if the player wants it anyways.
3) Maybe a competition between two players as the basis for a game, if people want to try it that way? (Two players have to defeat foes; when one wins, the other gains an arousal point and the only way to get rid of it is to defeat an opponent of your own to pass it back? XD)
I don't know if any of those will work. I'm just mulling the ideas over while I wait for things to happen.

I'd prefer the wallpapers concept for #2. The problem with number three is that if the characters aren't perfectly balanced, one will probably fall behind extremely quickly.
wallpaper
9th July 2009, 20:41
Considering that it sounds like the game is based on writing more than stats, I'd want to pair a couple of people who had similar writing styles, or posting times, or whatever. XD
Pheonix, we all know, is bad-ass at raeping back. Hee hee.
xivvix
9th July 2009, 20:43
The survey idea sounds good to me, wp. In fact I was thinking of doing something similar when I was considering making my own game on here ;)
I like the idea of number 3, but agree with Phoenix, it has the potential to be a bit unfair. Maybe if it was more of an open ended thing, where the players could set traps or otherwise screw with the other players in the middle of a race of some kind?
edit: wp ninja-ed me! And that's true, since it's based on writing rather than stats, it might be easier to keep it even.

Mmm, a Xivvix game would be fun. XD

Well... Most of the stuff you suggested already takes place in the Egg, Wallpaper. ^-^;
The egg asks a bunch of a questions (which I phrase as "A screen with the text "Character Name?" appears).
As for raping someone back... well, when you do get chased down, you can sex something into submission also.
As for what Diaga said about option #3, there aren't really character stats you choose - it's based on dice rolls and how well you can put thought into text.

Premise/Set-up
Seeing as how the game is based more on writing than on stats, I won't be including anything like 'strength/wits/etc. etc.' at all. The pleasure-points/arousal-points system will be more like... threshold meters, and your writing (clarity and effort to make the post interesting and fun to read) will determine the difficulty of any rolls -- where pleasure/arousal can be a good thing or a bad thing, depending on how you want to play it. (Maybe instead of orgasm = game over, it can be that you need to accumulate a certain number to pass a goal or beat something. XD Doesn't have to be though.)
Start up will begin (like Silth suggests) with your character in the Egg, answering a few questions while their body and mind are scanned to be input. :P You guys could fill out the form from a player perspective or from a character one as far as likes and dislikes are concerned (meaning that if your character has different likes than you do, then that's fine by me. X3)
A couple of things that I'm not really willing to do as a GM, and apologies to those of you who are disappointed; vore, loli/kid stuff, bestiality (I'm okay with, say, intelligent four-footed dragons or monsters maybe, though intelligent horses and dogs I can't do, let alone non-sentient ones. :x On a weird side-note, I'm fine with non-sentient monsters, which probably makes me a little bit of a hypocrite. XD), and scat/watersports; I'm... okay with anthro/furry stuff but I prefer to stick to either humanoid races or monstrous ones for some reason. I don't have a tonne of experience with futa/herm, pregnancy/milking/etc. but I'm willing to write 'em if you want to see it! Anything else I think is fair game, you guys can have it as rapey or as... I don't know, more-like-dubious-consent or consenting as you'd like.
As for the form itself, you want I should make it a 'list of fetishes/situations, yes, no, or maybe', or should I leave that open for you guys to fill in on your own? The former allows you guys not to have to think quite as much and may present you with options you hadn't thought of... but then again I might miss an option that you HAD thought of. The latter is more in spirit with the 'you get what you write for' idea... I'm more prone to doing the 'have a list, answer it' bit, but I'm open to a mixture.
...I'll make up that list in a titch unless anyone has any input that they think should change things around! ^_^
eta2:
The form~
Name: (Character name goes here)
Gender: (I like the idea of starting out as male or female and, if its your thing, offering the opportunity for some herm-ifying as a sort of prize... so just 'male' or 'female' for now.)
Species: (Human, humanoid, whatever... I'm assuming that in the universe that the Egg can be found, if you're a one eyed, one horned purple people eater, you're game to play. Whatever species you are outside of the game is what you'll be on playing.)
Physical Age: (How old does your character look? Doesn't really matter if they're a 32597245932423946 year old demon/vampire/etc. ;3)
Surface Scan: (Give a physical description of your character; this helps me, you know, write decent descriptions in reply to your own. Please, if you're using a picture, write a chunk of descriptive text as well!)
Resonance Scan: (A description of personality, as well as background if you want to go that in depth. I will use a combo of 'surface scan' and 'resonance scan' to determine your base pleasure and arousal points, and any other bit that needs to be stat-ified. Better descriptions will probably give you better stats -- 'better' meaning lower or higher, depending on what you might prefer~)
Regions of Consent
(To avoid lawsuit/death by player, the makers of the Egg have provided a form to fill out so that one doesn't encounter something that they would prefer to avoid. One person's fantasy is another's nightmare, and all that!)
Situations
Situations of Non-Consent: (aka, rape. Getting or giving, for that matter)
Situations of Violence: (Fighting? Blood? Gore?)
Situations of Violence during Sex: (aka, pain and sex. Like in any section, feel free to define what's okay and not okay here. Could be as mild as BDSM punishment or 'real' violent scenes.)
Offensive or Defensive Gameplay: (Would you rather be chased and avoiding getting caught, or try to conquer/win?)
Transformations: (Care to have 'em in the course of the game? If so, anything you'd prefer, or would rather avoid? Includes Herm-like transformations or, say, monster-based ones for example. Pregnancy and body-changes that come with it are also included here.)
Genre: (Anything twig your fancy? Fantasy, sci-fi, horror, steam punk, etc. etc.... or if 'whatever', then just put 'whatever'. XD)
Opponents
Humanoid: (your general human-shaped creatures. Maybe indicate here whether you'd like to see anthros or not, here, or if only specific kinds of humanoids, those too.)
Non-Humanoid: (Tentacles~! Also, four-footed or other creatures. Let me know if there's anything that you'd avoid like, say... insectine monsters, or if there's anything specific that you'd like.)
Bosses: (Want 'em? Or maybe a normal/sub-boss/boss set up? Beating them may increase 'stats' somehow.)
Goals/Rewards
Items: (Would you like to have a game based on collecting items, or maybe puzzle pieces? Or items that help boost stats or lower those of opponents?)
Single Larger Goal or Series of Smaller Goals: ('Defeat the boss' vs. 'find 5 gems in various places to solve this puzzle' XD Probably wind up being a little more complex than that, though who knows~)
Game End: (In the event of a game over, would you like to have your data saved and start from last checkpoint? -- Would you rather continue in the same game or try a new one?)
...Let's see, that's all I can think of for now! XD

So, like this?
The form~
Name: Pheonix
Gender: Starting: Male
Species: Bio-magical Hybrid
Physical Age: 19
Surface Scan: Pheonix is the result in experiments of mixing pure magic with biological flesh. As a result, he has a fairly human body: lean, six feet/two meters tall. He has pale white skin, and his hair is a mix of shades of red and orange. Not so human, however, is the fact that he exudes a pattern of light around his body resulting in his arms, back, and hair being covered with ethereal red and orange feathers along with downy feathers covering the rest of him. These feathers have the effect of making Pheonix almost appear as though he is on fire at first glance. Stretching from his back are wings similar to the feathers in that they are partially translucent and can't be touched without the aid of magic. These wings, however, do grant him the ability to fly in areas of average or greater mana concentration. As they can only be touched by magic, the wings and feathers do not hinder non-magical weapons at all, although they are hit and damaged by magical attacks.
Resonance Scan: Constantly having his thoughts flow between the flesh and blood synapses of his brain and the ethereal construct of his magical flesh results a great deal of stress within Pheonix's mind. As a result, fractures occur often, although they do heal on their own. These fractures cause Pheonix to have a wildly erratic personality able to go from serious and foreboding at one moment to bat-shit crazy the next.
Historically, Pheonix is the result of an experiment along the lines of: hey, would it be possible to do that? Probably not, but the result should be entertaining at least. As such, his creators took human genetic material and inserted it into an artificial ovum made from pure magic before sitting it in a test tube and leaving it alone for a few day to see if anything would happen. When it did, the scientists decided to put the result in an artificial womb and wait until the child was born so that they could study it and try to get money for their discovery. Of course, the scientist were viewed as crazy, ignored, and generally not given money. As a result, seeing no use for their product, they sent Pheonix to an orphanage to let them deal with him.
Regions of Consent
(To avoid lawsuit/death by player, the makers of the Egg have provided a form to fill out so that one doesn't encounter something that they would prefer to avoid. One person's fantasy is another's nightmare, and all that!)
Situations
Situations of Non-Consent: Sure
Situations of Violence in a Sexual Context: Um, no.
Offensive or Defensive Gameplay: Both as options depending on the context
Transformations: A good thing. (Herms especially)
Opponents
Humanoid: All are generally fine, just keep them around the same size range.
Non-Humanoid: All are generally fine, restrict the number with exoskeleton's, though.
Bosses: Eh, why not.
Genre: Science Fantasy.
Goals/Rewards
Items: Items that help boost stats or lower those of opponents.
Single Larger Goal or Series of Smaller Goals: Series of smaller goals with possible overarching reason for smaller goals.
Game End: Sessions generally are one per small goal, game ends when all goals are completed. (Somewhat like if they released a Legend of Zelda game one dungeon at a time.)

Mm, that's okay... though maybe I should have a question about what genre a person wants to be in. That form is pretty vague right now so the game play would wind up being pretty generic, possibly. XD Maybe a 'physical age' in the top as well so I can tell how old the characters look.

Can't really think of anything to add off the top of my head. ;)
When I was thinking of doing a survey for a game, I was thinking of working it like a "on a scale of 1-5, how much do you like this" kind of thing. That way it would tell me how much people wanted to see something: 1 (not at all), 2 (infrequently), 3 (common), 4 (a lot), or 5 (constantly).

Ooh, that's a good point. XD I will have to come up with a number of survey questions... I may wind up remodeling the sheet with that instead. :D (or rather, the top section would remain the same, but switching out the bottom. *nods*)

aww remodeling what I just filled out? I answered them kind of specifically, so I hope it's not a problem
one of my summer jobs is finally over, so I'll have more time now yay and stuff
Name: Chrissie
Gender: female
Species: Human
Physical Age: 20
Surface Scan: Large shiny brown eyes, average height with a slimmer than average frame. Short black hair that hangs just below her face, not making it all the way to her shoulders. Not a large bust, but still a handful, so to speak. Dresses sort of casually, but not ratty. Clothes are usually cargo pants/shorts, generic t shirts, and the occasional hoodie, all of which are mostly wrinkly, but never dirty.
Resonance Scan: Mostly a girl of concern. She likes helping out in any way to her community. She goes out of her way to volunteer for coaching sports for children in the spring and winter, as well as run minor charity events here and there for the usual town cause. Usually very selfless, spending more time giving to others than worrying about herself, getting her into a bit trouble with school systems and quite a few social circles.
Situations
Situations of Non-Consent: Getting raped is completely ok with me.
Situations of Violence: Nothing heavy towards the character, maybe being knocked out. But because she won't be raping back, I guess she'll have to be violent to them somehow
Situations of Violence during Sex: idk what "real" violent scenes mean but heavy bdsm is acceptable/almost preferred, biting/scratching, getting raped violently is fine. (enemies with no concern for her pleasure)
Offensive or Defensive Gameplay: Chased, but there's got to be some way of fighting back. At the very least, there is fighting to escape and then just plain running away
Transformations: Herm changes and changes to bust size are ok if temporary. Pregnancy through any means is fine too, including oviposition. (inflation if it fits) ((lol pun))
Genre: The enemies are really what matter and I don't care what influences them, one could be a space alien while the other is a magical dragon, doesn't matter to me. Though I am curious as to what steam punk means.
Opponents
Humanoid/Non-Humanoid: anything your heart desires
Bosses: Yes please :D
Goals/Rewards
Items: Prefer to avoid stat boosting items unless the gm figures it's needed and willing to help the character. Defeat a number of bosses with a set minimum number of enemies between them is good with me.
Single Larger Goal or Series of Smaller Goals: Defeat bosses
Game End: Maybe a story provided of how her fate would end up (like a game over screen, except fap material in this case) then get the chance to take it back from a checkpoint.

You can keep the character and stuff. XD I'm just toying around with how to start while we wait on Silth to do his thing...
Though with alla these sheets, I'm hoping to get started. :P Can always start something new if the first ones end up not making sense or something.

K, I think I'm good with how my sheet looks and it really doesn't matter to me how and when any of it starts. I feel like a giddy school girl with no care in the world now that I'm finally fucking home for more than an hour at a time.

Well, I see the first game is open for a player... but I think I'd like to see one run before I actually try this. But why not, making up characters is good practice for writing in general.
Name: Jennifer Lawson
Gender: Female
Species: Human
Physical Age: 23
Surface Scan: Jenn is a little taller then average, and slim, with a slightly but not aggressively athletic appearance. Her hair is a deep brown and shoulder length, with a tendency to curl at the bottom. It's usually let down or in a ponytail, and very occasionally braided. Today she is wearing relatively non-descriptive clothing. A pair of blue jeans and a black t-shirt over a chest that she's always thought was too small, though in reality it's very nearly average for 'natural'.
Resonance Scan: A very determined individual, Jenn isn't one to shirk responsibilities or give up because a task seems difficult or unpleasant. She tends toward the quiet side, though she's aware of this and occasionally makes an effort to correct it. While not exceptionally bright, Jenn's work ethic lead her to near the head of her class in high-school, and has pushed her through college with decent grades as a journalism student. Her biggest regret at the moment is making a bet with her room-mate, Alice, that Alice wouldn't graduate top in their class. It had seemed a sure thing, and now Jenn couldn't imagine failing to preform her forfeit - one time through the egg, with a recording of the event sent to Alice as proof.
Regions of Consent
Situations of Non-Consent: Yes.
Situations of Violence: Lets say anything short of drawing blood.
Situations of Violence during Sex: Again, anything short of drawing blood.
Offensive or Defensive Gameplay: I liked the general description of the "escape" type scenarios, so defensive.
Transformations: I avoid adding and subtracting genitalia. Monster transformations... for now lets just say 'no' but the real answer is probably more complex. Pregnancy, yes.
Genre: Pretty much whatever for background setting. As I stated earlier I kinda liked the idea of 'escape from X' where X could be wilderness, an alien planet, mystical ruins, an unfamiliar city... pretty much whatever.
Anthros: Y
Herms: N
Male/Male: N
Female/Female: Y
Pregnancy: Y
Milking: Y
Birthing: Y
Non Consent Sex: Y
BDSM: Y
Slavery: Y
Gore or Violence: N
Animals (Sentient): Y
Animals (Non-Sentient): Y
Opponents
Humanoid: Yea, sure, anything humanoid is probably fine.
Non-Humanoid: Tentacles! Also pretty much anything else.
Bosses: If the boss can be done in a balanced way, sure, but my general inclination is that it wouldn't work well to have one thing way stronger then everything else, unless there's just some clever way to beat it or something.
Goals/Rewards
Items: I would not like a game *based* on collecting items, but I wouldn't mind them as plot devices to bring my character to a particular place. Powerups and such are right out.
Single Larger Goal or Series of Smaller Goals: Probably "one large goal with several small goals along the way" is best. (Example: Escape the planet. You'll need to find a radio, survive until the satalite is overhead, and then get to a pickup point).
Game End: I think that the "egg" type game probably works best as a large number of short scenarios, so I'd say "game over = game over". But I also don't like to lose too easily, so I'd say include one or two "deus-ex-machina" extra 'lives' where the player fails but some other circumstance saves them from final defeat. Save points and/or lives seem too artificial.

silth, does the choice m/m even apply if your character is female?

Yea, I was kinda wondering that. Also, I thought the character we were making was the one going *into* the egg, and that the avatar used inside it was based off that... not that the forum user went into the egg and their character was just the avatar. (Doesn't really make sense to list a personality for an avatar?)

I think I'm going to run it so that the character is the one going into the egg, just because the idea of putting the player into it weirds me out a little. XD (Same reason I backed out of the Tentacle Rancher game... I just don't like using 'myself' for RP! And the player can always model their character on someone just like them, if they want. X3)
Liking the way everything's running so far. 83 *does a jig* Soon! I think I may start something tonight if that's okay.

How come I get home late on the day we start this??? lol Hopefully this helps my writing skills as well, so bear with me WP!
Name: Maria Dawson
Gender: Female
Species: Human
Physical Age: 26
Surface Scan: A shorter, athletic woman of mexican decent; she wears her brown shoulder length hair in a pony tail. Not thin by Hollywood's standards she has a fully muscular figure, due mostly to her love of hiking. She has a rather average sized chest and is currently dressed in Khaki pants and a raggy tee-shirt.
Resonance Scan: Fiercely independent she sometimes comes off as a bitch, but will stand by her family and friends to the death. She tries to go with the flow, though the flow often annoys her. She spent some time in the navy and has a sense of pride for her work whatever she does. She always wanted to be an astronaut. Her biggest fear is failure and her greatest love is the outdoors.
Regions of Consent
(To avoid lawsuit/death by player, the makers of the Egg have provided a form to fill out so that one doesn't encounter something that they would prefer to avoid. One person's fantasy is another's nightmare, and all that!)
Situations
Situations of Non-Consent: Yes
Situations of Violence: Yes
Situations of Violence during Sex: Not too crazy, but bondage and light violence is fine
Offensive or Defensive Gameplay: A tille of both, lean to defense
Transformations: Realistic stuff, pregnancy is ok, not into the sex-changing stuff though
Genre: Sci-fi and/or horror sounds like fun
Opponents
Humanoid: Whatever
Non-Humanoid: I guess Tentacles is about all I can come up with
Bosses: Sure,why not?
Goals/Rewards
Items: Yes
Single Larger Goal or Series of Smaller Goals: Series of small goals
Game End: I like thetwo's idea; something along the likes of a saving grace the first time or two, then the "epic fail," and subsequent game over
