I asked Nunu for a sub-forum where I can post the game information and character creation thread, but it might take a little while. In the mean time, you can sit back and relax, and start figuring out if you want a vacationer come to visit Peiquok for summer celebrations, or a townie, or someone caught in the wrong place at the wrong time.

I think that's because several GM's either aren't comfortable with, are unskilled with, or are unfamiliar with writing monster on guy rape scenes.

I'm planning on tossing out a few female monsters, too, though the majority will probably be male, or at least have tentacle, invasive-goodness going on if they're ungendered. I'm not averse to writing guys in rape scenes, though if players are, they should probably write up a female character.

I don't want to give too much away yet, but almost all of the monsters in the game (and some of the human bad guys) are going to be at least a little interested in raping helpless victims. A character that gets raped isn't out of the game or anything like that.

Your character can die, though with Janna's system it should be hard to be killed and you'll have time to decide whether you want your character to fight to the death or to back off... the way this game works, you can't die in the one-on-one PM battles, but you can fall unconscious. In the real world, there is a chance to die, but you should have other characters to watch your back.

I'll try to make everything clear once the sub-forum is put up, including the game's premise, and what kinds of things you can expect. I've seen 'corruption' thrown around in some of the different RP's here. Mild versions of that are going to be a possibility.

Pheonix, there aren't corruption levels, but over the course of the game, your character may experience changes. The PM battles may have something to do with that, but more on that after the break. (I'm writing much of what I'm going to be posting out in a text pad for now, so once the sub^2 forum is up, I'll be able to explain things in one big chunk.)

I think that in this system, it will be less about levels, as you'll have 40 character points (CP) to spend at the beginning of the game and you may get more at the end, if the game has a sequel, and more about working with what you've got, and a few bonuses or detriments tossed your way along the way. The game isn't open ended, though it should still take some time to run through!

I've popped my head into that game (got to say that it looks different with all of the avatars in use now that I'm signed in and not lurking!) and I think I can safely say that this game will be different. I already mentioned that it's set over a relatively short period of time so pregnancy won't be a changing factor... and while there should be a fair bit of fighting and struggle and tentacle goodness, the game's more focused on puzzles and working through a mystery of sorts.

Pretty much. The game will hopefully have beginning, middle and end... though everything but the beginning is pretty loose based on how characters act, react, and interact. I'd like to keep the tone of the game fairly serious and horror-ful (with a side of erotic of course) but aside from that, I can give you guys hints and nudges but you won't have to do things in any order and I'll try to roll with you if you want to go a different direction... for the most part. ;)

One of my goals with the game is to make things nice and clear so I'm also posting as much of the rules as I think you'll be interested in reading. I'm going to be showing my work with dice rolls once the game is going so you can see why things happen the way they do.

But you raise a very good point. If people have particular fetishes or, even more seriously, squicks it's good to talk about them ahead of time so nobody is going to be surprised.

There are creepy sex monsters in this game, just as a heads up. I don't like beastiality so there isn't going to be any animal rape.

This is true, but finding items may be more difficult in one-on-one PM battles (I may change the rate of difficulty based on the danger of course. xD) So long as you're willing to team up with a more physical character and/or have Jen have the sense to back away from monsters when she has the opportunity, you may not wind up in real trouble. :p

I figured that the character would have her guitar, but since it's not a weapon and it's not going to do much (maybe help with charm checks?! XD Does music soothe the savage tentacle-beast!?) I didn't list it in her equipment!

Cara looks fine Wallpaper. Highly specialized, but that's okay. The guitar is fine a 0 point background equipment. If you wouldn't mind editing your skils to show the bonuses (Charm +4, Athletics +2, Awareness +2, etc.) that would be helpful.

That's a secret for now. I'll warn in advance that a few monsters are more interested in seeing you unconscious rather than sexxed up, so a few battles aren't going to be rape so much as good old fashioned beating things up (sometimes with sticks, as the test battle with Janna's guinea pig character showed me!)

She's got decent basic stats, but if you want to change things around, that's fine. Just let me know when she's done so I can look her over, put her through a quick test run, and then approve her if she works out.


To everyone, once I specifically approve your characters (I haven't yet!) you can post in the 'Peiquok Town Hall' thread. I highly encourage characters to interact with one another instead of flocking to NPC's -- you're allowed to chat them up, but talking with other PC's serves the dual purpose of giving me time to approve more characters, and giving your characters stronger allies when the time comes that you may need them. Every searcher needs a bruiser, after all! (Well, no, I made that up... but it's still going to be good for you to make friends. :p)

The town hall section won't last forever, either, so consider it a respite while I wait for late players to trickle in (and that's how I'm going to cap the player amount! Ha!)

You can spend them on increasing your Skills or training, if you'd like, or upgrade your puppy into a dog, or whatever works best. You don't necessarily need to change her basic stats!

TheWeirdOne, Quick Reflexes, Determined and Magnetic cost 2 points each and so Kaci looks like she's slightly over. Check out the other thread for a note on the Medical skill.

I wanted to poke you about your Fetish Flaw. How would you envision Masochist working? Ordinarily, the moment your flaw comes into play (and as long as it is being used) you can't attempt to escape from a grapple. With something like Masochist, I would be worried that the first time she gets grappled by a violent enemy, Kaci would be essentially stuck.

You may want to put the markings for the size of the bonus you get from your skills beside them. Also, you will almost definately need a more extensive medical background to have a +10 to that skill like you currently have.

No she isn't. There is one more technical thing that I need you to do, that I have asked you to do twice before (and have asked others to do, so it's come up numerous times in both threads). As a reading test, you'll have to figure that one last thing out for yourself. It's a fairly simple change -- when I asked Rule 34 to make this same change, he managed to finish within a couple of minutes! I think that you can do it to... you just need to read. :rolleyes:

She should also have more extensive training in medicine to have a reason to have taken it five times. I don't think post secondary training would cut it. Either she needs to be at the top of her class and just about to graduate (which The Weird One has done with Kaci) or she needs to be very experienced in combat healing (Like Raptor Jesus has done for Shiva.)

Your Health should be 60, rather than 65, your energy should be at 70 instead of 85, and your Arousal Threshold should be at 57 instead of 60! xD

Shifting points out of medical is probably a good thing. xD Seeing as how one can only heal a person once per scene, you probably didn't need that high a score anyhow. As far as Inspire goes, that would end up being +6 to a roll, which is fairly hefty! You could probably even take a point out of that or medical to use somewhere else, if you wanted, as she's fairly specialized right now.

You story looks good.

There is one more thing that I would like you to do before I can finish testing and approving your character -- could you add in the values for each trait, skill and flaw, instead of writing 'x2' or 'x3'? For example: Awareness (+6 Perception), Quick Reflexes (Pick up a weapon and attack on same turn). This helps me to make your character sheet much faster.

Dreana, your points add up, though I'd like to know what brings Talenta to a quiet little town like Peiquok... Is she on vacation or is she working? 'Violent nobody' doesn't exactly sound like the kind of character that I'm looking for in this game; she needs some kind of personality, optimally. I'll have to run her through a quick test to see if she's okay to go, as her defense and health are quite low.
(And on second thought, would you cut Talenta's damage back? She's a little over-powered for the monsters I have, so I think we'd both have more fun if she didn't kill everything in the first couple of turns. :) This is an erotic suspense/horror game, not a RPG shooter! If you cut back the massive damage and still want her to be combat oriented, maybe move the points into defense and health... +1 defense and +20 health would go a long way to balance her.)

Simca, Celia's base damage is the same as her combat value, so you can add '4' there. Her arousal damage is the equivalent of her combat value + her physical, so '7' goes there. Your points add up, but could you please add in the descriptions of Celia's skills and traits: Lucky (+2 Luck) Charm (+2 Charisma), etc? This makes life easier for me so that I can make her character sheet.

Dia, I had been hinting that I wanted you to add the descriptions of Xetia's skills, traits and flaws to her sheet. I've asked you to do this many times (and have brought it up with other players many times), so I don't know if you are ignoring those posts, are reading them and ignoring them, or are reading them and aren't understanding what I mean. It's growing a little frustrating. Her current line-up seems to be more balanced and the points add up, I just need this one little thing before I can make your character's sheet up for myself to do the test-run.

Diagasvesle, it looks like Xetia is all ready. You can start her off in the Town Hall whenever you would like.

Simca, I've tested Celia as well. She is acceptable and you could move her to the Town Hall when you're ready. One thing that I noticed in my test, her low Combat Value makes her miss a lot. If she is grappled, she's going to be in a very bad position since her low Physical makes it difficult to escape (without very good rolls) and her low attack bonus means that the -2 penalty to hit the enemy grappling is very rough on her. You might want to lower the hangun down to 10 damage and use the extra point to buy her 1 point of specialty training with the handgun. I think the increased chance to hit would make up for the reduced damage.

It's your choice though. She's good to go as it is right now, just be careful.

Her attributes add up to 28, not 27 and that puts her 1 point over. (14+5+9).

Her arousal should be down to 53 since she has the Horny flaw. Her combat value should be raised up to 7 because of her offensive focus. Her base damage should be raised up to 17 because of her new combat value and her massive damage. Her arousal should be at 16 (7 Combat Value + 9 Physical).

On her background, I'm worried that you'll be disappointed if you keep this one. There probably wouldn't be a good way to explore how she came to arrive in Peiquok or her kidnapping story: I don't have any NPCs right now planned who might have kidnapped her and really once the game gets going we might not have time to really touch on it the way you want.

A gentle reminder: your PM battles are loosely based around your forum activity (quantity and quality of posts) so if your character goes to sit in a corner or fall asleep, I will not get to you nearly as quickly as if you're interacting with others, since I'm a mean drunk like that. xD

Some of you have finished your battles already and have witnessed the consequences, some of you may even have gotten some puzzles, riddles, etc. You can keep them to yourself and hypothesize, bring them out to discuss OOC here, or have your characters mention them in game to see how other characters react. :cool: I just won't say anything. If you're waiting on a second battle and have been posting like the dickens, it's just because I'm trying to get others caught up. I think we only have Loli Defense Force left to sign in and then everyone will be here (or in the works of being here) so I may be able to move this first day on more quickly than you'd think.

I sent you a reply to your PM, but I'll say it again here for everyone: Aside from what changes I give you in your debriefing (including what your character remembers, alterations to their mental states or abilities, and random clues) your character is exactly the same in the real world as she (or he) was before the battle started. The only big changes you're likely to see (though there may be some slight changes) are if I mention your character is feeling a little drained or aroused.

While I'm on the topic, you can have your characters search for weapons or items in their battles. Some of you already found this out, but in case anyone was wondering...

For the IC reaction, yeah, a couple of minutes or so would make sense, but in terms of attacks vs turns, it doesn't work that way. She probably didn't hit him in quite the way he needed to go down, OR he's tougher (I'll never tell ;)) than he looks.


Toxic and Miachan, your characters are ready to join the Town Hall thread -- your characters are going to show up more towards noon, having been picked up then along with other NPC stragglers.

Everyone else, the day is moving on, progressing towards noon, just in case you were worrying that we were stuck in one time and dragging on! I'm aware of wanting to get going, but there are a few battles left and one more person that I need to get in contact with to see if they're going to join.

Also... I'm not sure who expected there to be no bars for cell-phones. You can use them, and they could end up being quite useful later in the game to communicate between characters that have split up. Just so you know. I didn't make you guys spend points on items that you'll never use (hopefully!)

Busters a bit ADD and really shaky but gets pretty intense in mundane things that he turns his attention to, so when I listed "Charm" and "magnetic" it's less of a charming cool charisma, and more of a foolish cheery friendly, the type of people who don't irritate you and you can't really get upset with. Like a dog... but human. (inspired by a friend of mine, I hope the rest of you have a friend like that so you know what I'm talking about. Not the guy who pisses you off, but you forgive cuz 'hes just that way' but a guy who doesn't piss you off... but you can see how it would annoy more uptight people)

He was also Merry from Merry and Pippin -Lord of the Rings.

Eh, it's both physical and mental. The same way that he has bursts of energy, he also has to keep his mind on track a lot. So he's ok sitting "still" (or at least as still as possible) doing a trivial task as long as he's fully concentrating on it. You can kinda see that in the conversation, full concentration leads to overthinking, which he will tend to do.

Funny thing is, as I've been playing as Buster. I've spent all my time fidgeting, more than I regularly do. My legs NEVER stop shaking, cracking my fingers, biting what's left of my nails, I have trouble getting to sleep or getting my mind on track, hence why I always have to leave the PM for the last thing to catch up on when I'm online. On the sadder side of news, 2 computers completely useless within a week or so of each other with no time to work on them. I might have to steal one from the public library o.O.

Battles have lasted anywhere from about 6 turns to one that's going upwards of 26 and still going strong. :eek: That's because the player doesn't seem to be too focused on killing their monster off right away though!

I had an hour of grappling/wrestling that sort of thing, an hour of extreme total body fitness, and two boosters to kick it off, and even after all that and an entire day, combined with the fact that I couldn't even force my eyes open, I would lay in the darkness on my bed for the better part of 13 HOURS!
